My wife and mother-in-law gifted me sessions here for my birthday, and after seeing the setup, I immediately traded my initial package in for a monthly subscription. It's easily one of the best ways to spend a weekend. What sets this place apart immediately is the privacy and the quality of the equipment. Back in Arizona, cold plunging meant piling into shared, public tubs and cycling through communal saunas where everyone is on display. At Boost, you get your own private rooms. My go-to routine is the contrast therapy: * Round One: 20 minutes in the private infrared sauna, which comes loaded with bluetooth speakers so you can sync your phone and play a podcast or music, followed by 3 minutes in the cold plunge. * Round Two: 10 more minutes in the sauna, followed by another 3 minutes in the plunge while stretching out to get the blood flowing. While they do offer a cryo option, I much prefer their actual cold water plunge tubs. Afterwards, I head over for a 10-minute session in the red light therapy room. Unlike older setups I've used where the light panels are fixed far away, their multi-light therapy panels are on wheels. You can roll them right up close to get full-body exposure, and the room has a nice built-in breeze so you don't overheat. They also have top-tier compression therapy chairs that double as actual massage chairs--brand new, pristine, and incredibly comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the manager got me set up smoothly on a credit-based system. Contrast therapy runs you two credits since it covers both hot and cold cycles, and the monthly membership gives me 12 credits to play with--perfect for hitting three solid therapies once a weekend. At over 50, I'm doing this to stay strong, mobile, and young for as long as possible. Whether you're already dialed into the science popularized by Wim Hof or just starting to look into the longevity and recovery benefits of cold water and infrared therapy, Boost Wellness is unmatched. The facility is spotless, state-of-the-art, and worth every visit. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: today is March 20…read more In August 2025 I developed chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives/rash) during the heatwave, it persisted into October - only getting worse after seeing dermatologists who prescribed steroid creams, which also made things worse. heat was my trigger for this CIU. It was so bad I had to keep my clothes in the freezer, putting them on cold to help stop the itching and soothing the hives temporarily, and take ice cold showers Each morning. Even my hair brushing against my neck and back made me itchy, the lightest touch - shaking hands, or just wearing clothes made me itchy. It felt like the nerve endings were so sensitive. Anything that made me warm or hot triggered itchy hives. It really sucked! then it occurred to me to call Dr Ee to see if he could treat urticaria. I'd had acupuncture for stress and back pain but never skin Issues. that was mid October. I started going 1x week starting Oct 14 thru Nov 11 before Dr. EE would be out of office thru mid December. from the very first treatment I felt something I hadn't felt since the urticaria started... I FELT COLD! As well as relaxed. After the first treatment, I went home and fell asleep for three hours. I normally cannot sleep during the day. I needed that!
