I LEFT FEELING HURT, DISRESPECTED, AND UNVALUED... I was a patient of Dr. Bokhari for over 2 years…read moreand 8 months and a member of this clinic for 2 years, paying $150 every month. During that time, I spent well over $8,000 on treatments and referred many friends and family because I truly believed in this practice. I even drive over 40 minutes to get to this clinic because I believed Dr. Bokhari was kind, skilled, and worth the time, gas, and long drive. Even after an incident last year, when I spent over $3,000 on fillers and Botox in a single session and was not given clear instructions on how to use the nitrous oxide, causing me to inhale too much and experience a frightening hallucination that left me feeling unwell for the rest of the day and even the following day, I continued coming back because I trusted this clinic. Over the last two months, I had to return to the office four different times because my Botox results were not what I had consistently received in the past. During those visits, I spent approximately $1,000. At my most recent follow-up appointment, I simply wanted to understand why my results were different and why I kept needing additional Botox to achieve results that had previously been obtained without these issues. Instead of having a conversation, Dr. Bokhari responded in a way that completely shocked me. He told me: "If you go to Kentucky and order chicken, you have to pay for it." "You have to pay for the units I injected." "There are no free lunches here." "If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else." This was said to me in front of his assistant, the doctor he is training, and my husband, so I am 100% certain that I heard and understood exactly what he said. I explained that I was not refusing to pay. I simply wanted to understand why I kept needing additional visits and additional Botox to obtain results that had previously been achieved without these issues. Despite that, the conversation continued in the same tone. I left that appointment feeling deeply hurt. Personally, I felt discriminated against and treated as if I were someone trying to get something for free, despite being a loyal patient for nearly three years who had always paid for every treatment. Most of all, I felt that I was not a valued patient. At the time, I still had $500 remaining in my membership account. After charging me for that Botox touch-up, the clinic agreed to refund the remaining balance, and I immediately canceled my membership. I had already had a negative experience at this clinic during a Black Friday promotion. I thought I had prepaid for my usual Botox treatment, but when I arrived, I was told I needed to pay more. When I asked for an explanation, I felt I was treated in a dismissive and condescending way, which led me to write a negative review. I later removed that review after Dr. Bokhari personally spoke with me, because at the time I believed the issue had mainly been with the staff. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, my perspective has changed. P.S. For context, I am 30 years old and don't have significant forehead wrinkles. I get Botox because I prefer not to have visible forehead lines. I was also not satisfied with the lip filler I received in March 2025. It appeared to me that some of the filler had migrated, and when I asked Dr. Bokhari about it, he told me it would dissolve over time. However, I can still see some small lumps around my lips today. After that experience and the incident with the nitrous oxide, I decided not to get fillers there again. I've attached photos to this review showing how my lips currently look. I never imagined that after years of loyalty, my relationship with this clinic would end this way. I sincerely hope no other patient leaves feeling as hurt and undervalued as I did. It is fascinating that once you book a service with her, you have to call and remind her every time that you go there. Once I had an appointment at 9 am on Saturday, it was closed, I called her several times until she picked up and I reminded her of my presence. I waited for half an hour in rain until she came and did not even bother apologizing for forgetting my appointment and showing up late. Today the same happened, I reminded her early morning, and drove 25 min and arrived at 6 pm and the place was closed as usual. she had turned off her phone not to receive a call or message. I had told her that I had already canceled another appointment at work to go there but she totally overlooked. I do not recommend her and her service at all. She is apparently working in another place in Irvine and Beauty Therapy in Riverside is where she negligently work with no respect for customer's time.
