You don't do that with the #1 stylist or waxer back home so don't try that sh!t in Playa. This ain't a herding cattle production, this is a boutique one on one experience with the owner. Veronica is knowledgeable, professional, and an amazing communicator. She could be charging more for her services in some fancy get up, but she keeps life simple and humble and we get to benefit for her choice. You will not get her level of quality in some "resort spa". Additionally those places are so fake and pretentious. Give me Veronica over a resort spa any day of the week. Veronica is so cool, like the person you'd actually like to have drinks with. She's got stories for days, which is nice because you don't think about the waxing. If you are a Karen, just go to a resort. Don't mess it up with Veronica for the rest of us. I can't believe some of those reviews from people who don't know how to follow direct and simple directions. This ain't the Alabama strip mall where you ask for the manager, you are in Mexico, get with the program. I will book ahead with Veronica every time I'm in Playa.

What I received instead was a botched filler job, visible facial distortion, gaslighting, and the worst patient experience I've ever had. I originally requested something very simple: a small amount of filler, light Botox, and collagen support. But Dr. Sánchez aggressively pushed for unnecessary volume in areas I explicitly said I didn't want touched -- specifically my cheeks and jawline. Against my wishes, he injected HarmoniCa, which added excessive volume and distortion. My cheeks looked overinflated, my jawline widened unnaturally, and the result was completely unbalanced. When I voiced concern, he brushed it off and called me "too picky." It didn't stop there. I returned to point out the obvious asymmetry in my face -- including a crooked, uneven lip line caused by poorly placed filler. Dr. Sánchez initially acknowledged the swelling and distortion, only to later walk it back. He had me undergo cavitation therapy, which I later learned is not recommended after HarmoniCa injections. Trying to correct the issue, I suggested temple filler, which did help lift my face -- but one side was lumpy and uneven. Instead of correcting it, he told me I'd need to pay for a new syringe. He had already used so much filler in areas I never requested that: * My eyelid drooped (which had never happened before) * My lower face sagged, creating jowl-like fullness * My lip line lifted unevenly, after filler was added near my nose without consent I paid for every treatment out of pocket -- spending approximately $3,000 USD at this clinic -- and still, they tried to charge me again to fix his own mistakes. Then came the follow-up: Two weeks after the procedure, I contacted the clinic to ask if the swelling was normal. Since Dr. Sánchez was traveling, his team suggested I see another doctor. I agreed. Shortly after, I received a message warning me that if I saw the other doctor, I would no longer be helped. Dr. Sánchez was apparently offended that I followed his own staff's recommendation. I escalated it to the clinic manager, who told me to go ahead and dissolve the filler -- and assured me they would handle it. Fast forward to June 20, 2025 -- I returned to complete the dissolving process. Instead of honoring their word, they tried to charge me again -- to fix the very complication they admitted, in writing, was caused by the doctor. When I questioned the charge, I was met with cold indifference. Let me be very clear: This is a provider who injected filler where I didn't consent, delivered visibly distorted results, gaslit and insulted me (calling me a "red flag"), and is now trying to profit off fixing the damage he caused. I'm now left dealing with the physical impact, emotional toll, and financial cost of trying to undo the harm done. Bottom line: If you value your face, your peace of mind, or basic human decency -- stay far away from Oneline Clinic and Dr. Gilberto Sánchez. What I experienced was not just bad service -- it was exploitation.

    I came back to Oneline because my visit a few years ago was good. The quality has dropped since…read morethen, and prospective patients should know what they're walking into. 1. My thigh Ultraformer was applied unevenly and my thighs are now visibly asymmetric. The clinic refused to cover corrective treatment -- fixing an asymmetry costs them almost nothing and is the bare minimum. 2. CO2 concerns treated as a sales pitch. I raised an issue with my CO2 result. They said they'd "look at it" -- they meant I could pay them again to fix it. Big difference between standing behind your work and funneling concerns into a second invoice. 3. Paid for two CO2 areas, neck never finished. I paid for face and neck -- my face was completed, only part of my neck was treated. Granted I needed to stop mid-treatment, but a clinic operating in good faith would have offered a partial refund for what I didn't receive. They didn't. 4. I disclosed a serious allergy in advance. Staff weren't very accommodating -- no alternatives, no workarounds, that was left to me. Afterward they tried to sell me aftercare products containing my known allergen. 5. Bait-and-switch pricing. I was promised a 10% WhatsApp discount before my trip. By the time I arrived, it didn't exist. I had the quote in writing; don't assume yours will be honored at the door. There was also a significant language barrier before and during treatment -- understandable, but it made things difficult. I used to recommend Oneline. I don't anymore. If you have allergies or you're traveling specifically for treatment, look elsewhere.
