I did 3 challenges and a figure camp back to back. I did not get my money back because I invested the money into the figure camp to help tone. This was my choice, Never did I feel pressured into that decision. I was in the best shape of my life and thought I could do it on my own. I was able to for a while but then Pregnancy, injuries and laziness got the better of me. I've come back to VIP and the challenge is now 10 lbs with a totally different eating plan. The first 14 days is a reset and it takes discipline if you have been eating crap like I was. After those two weeks you're able to adjust your foods and stay within your macros. It teaches you to eat what you want in moderation and to have some healthier swaps. The trainers care and will help you modify if you have injuries. Also if you have a bunch of allergies, like me, they'll help provide substitutes for food to help you reach your goals!

And even then they will likely try to convince you to use the money for more membership fees instead of getting your $597 back. The recruitment and application process is designed to trick you with unclear wording and poor transparency by staff. The meal plan and exercises are not custom to your weight so whether you are morbidly obese or already a healthy weight you will get the same meal plan and expect to lose the same amount of weight as your counterpart. They'll work with you to help you achieve your goals, and adjust your workouts as those goals change and evolve. When I started with them, I wanted to lose weight. Then I wanted to build strength and do push-ups and pull-ups and more. Then I wanted to learn to run. Then I wanted to build endurance for half marathons. Then marathons. You get the idea. Reid, my personal trainer, has been there every step of the way. They push me to get stronger, but also know when I need to slow down or take a step back to recover. I definitely recommend motiv8 fitness if you want one on one attention to crush your fitness goals.

It really is a great place to get a great workout in. I love all the trainers, (Chris, Sarah, and Reid) they are all so motivational, supporting, knowledgeable, and just fun people. The class size wasn't too big or small, and we all supported each other. I loved going to the evening classes and early Saturday morning. In my short period at Motiv8 I lost 1.8lbs, but more importantly I LOST 1.2% OF BODY FAT! That is a great feeling, also that I can now do 15 pushups before burning out - when I started I could only do 10! When the new year hits, I'll be joining! You should come join with me!

How would I rate my family experience at Mott HS Pool on Monday, February 16, 2026?…read moreIf I could, I would give ZERO stars. Let me explain why. My family - my wife, I and our three grand-kids (13, 7 and 2 years old) came to the pool in the morning. Main entrance to family locker room was locked. One of two changing rooms was locked. But it was not the worst. When my 2 years old granddaughter under my wife supervision was playing with her small (3 inch), soft (made of rubber), floating duckling, some lifeguard came up to them. He forbade my granddaughter to play with her duckling in the pool. I've asked him: Why? He answered: Because of the pool rule - "NO TOYS IN THE POOL". I've asked him: Why? Is this toy dangerous to anyone? He rudely replayed: "Because this is the rule!" We had to take the toy from our kid. She started crying. Thus the person ruined our granddaughter's joy. I've asked him twice: What is your name? He refused to answer. Finally, I figured out his name from another person. His name is Bill. I understand that Bill hid his name because he knew that he had done something inappropriate. We used to attend the pool for more than 10 years. Before February 16 we never met such an unfriendly person in Mott High School Pool. Greg W. 79 years old

I needed to find a gentle but safe way to workout. I followed their advice and started coming faithfully several times a week. I noticed as the weeks and months went by that I was stronger and more flexible. It also has helped me with some of my pain issues and made me far more flexible and much stronger. I admit like many women, that I have some insecurities about my body. Yet I felt welcomed at the studio. I noticed there are all ages and sizes of women and that you don't have to be model perfect to do Pilates. All of the teachers are very nice, caring and knowledgeable and are able to modify the routine based on your abilities. Some might think Pilates is an extravagance. I don't see it that way. I view it as a wonderful gift to myself and I feel that I am well worth it. You really should give it a try! (My second review about my husband and Pilates). I wanted my husband to experience it too. Honestly the first time he came was under duress just to make me happy. Before we went he grumpily exclaimed he would only be attending once "just to get me off his back" LOL. After we finished our class, he told me "that was really cool, and I like the stretches and think it can make me stronger". He continued to come with me every week. As our lessons progressed, he soon noticed that he was far more flexible. I noticed that his posture improved. Not long after that he commented that his tennis elbow had disappeared. He was happy to ditch his elbow brace. In addition his tennis game improved as well as his lateral movements. He has been a Pilates fan for years and the only misses if he is sick or out of town or has a meeting. I like it because we are doing something fun yet healthy together as a couple. PS Eron is a great teacher. She is very thorough, passionate, caring, and always in a great mood.
