(Sorry so long, there's just too much to say!) This review is SO LONG OVERDUE! Suffice it to say, my experience with Electrolysis with April Campo has been truly life-changing! I started going to her around 2002. The 10+ years before that, I LITERALLY spent 45 minutes to an hour - DAILY - plucking the mass of hairs on my face. Having a hairy face as a woman had such an impact on my self-confidence. And it felt like it was a NEVER ENDING battle. After strictly following April's regimen of X # of treatments spaced out over time, I STILL remember the first time I let a boyfriend touch my face without repositioning his hands down to my waist. I honestly don't remember how much emotional pain I had from the unwanted hairs. Electrolysis itself wasn't nearly as painful as the shame and embarrassment I experienced. I don't even remember exactly how long it took for all the combined treatments to fully work, but it didn't matter. Every appointment was an investment into myself toward my ultimate goal of never owning a razor or tweezers! Either way, I all the time and money I spent investing in myself has been worth EVERY PENNY! In fact, I became somewhat addicted to it, lol. Lucy Peters is supposed to be the only permanent electrolysis but it did not work for me. I went faithfully for two years for one area and saw very little difference. Not only that, April never stopped pressuring me to do other areas, too. And if I said something about a particular hair growing back she'd become quite defensive. Excellent service and results! April is the best in Dallas. I started with my neck because of ingrown hairs. After being so pleased with the results. I decided to do my face because the hair is very sparse. I tried years of laser hair removal, and the hair just came back. In my opinion. This is the only way to permanently remove hair.
