The location being across the street from one of our favorite nerdy/horror/everything stores was chefs kiss. The coffee was absolutely delicious. I got, don't quote me but kinda quote me, a blondie latte and it was so good that my four year old said it smelled yummy so i made him a cookie butter hot chocolate when i got back to him. While there isn't table service, there are plenty of tables and they will bring out your food. Or you can take it away. The bagels are freshly made here and so are the waffles! What I like here too is that they have sugar free syrup options other than just vanilla! They have a great origin story here that is mentioned as art on the wall and support local artists by displaying and selling their artwork. The staff is very pleasant, always greeting you as you walk in the door and answering questions. They have cute merchandise like shirts, sweaters and stickers. The inside has plenty of seating too with free WiFi and places to plug in if you want to hangout and work. We've met the owner a few times and she's always been nice and talkative with us. There's a seating area with about 5-tables and a small snack stand for quick bites, but no actual food. The coffee selection is pretty vast for such a small cafe, but my go-to is always cold brew. The CB here is pretty decent, not bitter at all and very smooth. I do recommend getting coffee after shopping because it's a real pain in the booty to put down your books, take off your mask, sip coffee, put mask back on, repeat. Get your book(s), get your coffee, sit down and enjoy!
