I am not going to stop raving about Lyncoya Cafe. I haven't found a bad dish yet. Lunch or dinner, if I am in the area, I am turning into their lot for a fantastic meal. The selections do change with the seasons, but anything is worth it.

Nature trail behind the restaurant. Walk off the calories!

We were searching for good dinner and when we read that you can take a walk behind the restaurant on a nature trail, that's all us. Staff were very friendly and food came out quick. Food was on point and after we stuffed ourselves we walked to the nature trail and took in all of natures beauty!

The restaurant has a bit of a noisy atmosphere and is usually very busy. Also check the hours before you come because they aren't open every day. The parking lot is also a tight fit. Once seated inside when you get ready to order, be aware the staff is very strict about not letting virtually any dish be customized or altered in any way. It's as if they take it as an insult - but a lot of people have dietary alterations that they prefer (or need) to make. They don't care. I got the pot roast (just as it comes, of course!) and it was a satisfying portion. There is a whole carrot and a whole stick of celery on the plate. The pot roast itself comes on top of mashed potatoes and has a side of green beans.

Wow!! Not processed meat but a ribeye Philly cheese steak... I think it's made better here!

I had the most amazing time at Lyncoya this afternoon! They have the most amazing service from their general Manager Amanda truly sets a precedence of welcoming kindness, she made sure to check in on me and her other patrons to ensure we were enjoying our meal and service ( I miss this!!) to our host Kayla and everyone involved this afternoon hugs all around for amazing food and exceptional service. I met wonderful patrons and I know I'll be there at least a few times a week!! Please keep up the great work! And the loving God fearing Christian's there are like a special treat!! Reminds you of what life is about.

Friendly Staff, amazing Food!!! I don't think I've ever left disappointed! I usually like trying their Weekly Specials, but lately I've been enjoying their Cobb Salad with their Firecracker Chicken!

Tried this place out for lunch after seeing all of the positive reviews. We've been in the area for 10 years but never had been before and we're glad we did because we will definitely be back. The poutine was some of the best we've had outside of Canada and the philly cheese steak was phenomenal. Service was quick and friendly. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu options.

I've been here 3 times and every time there service has been spectacular! Drinks come out fast and my glass was never empty! Food is always hot and fresh! Big portions for the price! There is normally a wait, but I always go at prime time. Friday and Saturday 7-8pm. They do close at 9pm. And the wait hasn't been longer than 20 mins. This is definitely a Gem in Hendersonville!

The cutest little place, with delicious food! I highly recommend trying. The staff was very welcoming, and service was great.

Stopped in for lunch today. Wait staff is exceptional! Best unsweetened iced tea and so happy they offered one to go. I tried the Reuben sandwich with fries. It was a huge sandwich. You can tell the corned beef is from scratch. I wanted to like it but it was too heavy on the clove for my liking. But that's on me - not them. If you're not like me I would recommend trying it!! Fries were ok. I will go back and try a different dish because the service and food quality is top notch! Don't sleep on this gem

Special today! Salmon, mashed potatoes, and asparagus!

Laura was a fabulous waitress who was super fun and friendly. I wasn't sure what to order but she said the burger of the month was super good. She wasn't wrong. It was a pimento cheeseburger. The burger was perfectly cooked to a medium well. It was moist and had excellent flavor. The fries are super crispy and the perfect size. I had the sweata weatha sangria to drink and it was fabulous. It was packed with fruit and the apple cider gave it a nice undertone. The poutine fries were great. While the restaurant is technically "lakeside" it's on a main road so the lake view also comes with a view of the nearby gas station. The interior is quaint and comfy.

Absolutely love this place! Due to Hendersonville moved out here a couple months with my husband and baby. Saw his recommended on the Henderson Facebook page. Told it was a local favorite and oh my goodness it did not disappoint! I went here with my husband during the week for lunch and got the pot roast and it was so good that I got it to go as well instead of dessert to have for lunch the next day and then we ended up going back on Saturday with our baby. It was yet again incredible. The staff is so incredibly nice. We ended up meeting part of the kitchen staff. They were so nice to our son and everyone is just kind and nice and friendly. The place is clean. Will definitely be back again in the very near future.!

She was really sweet and offered great recs to my husband. We both got the scrambler bowl, made our own ways. After looking at the waffle flavors, I had to get one of those as well. I was a little surprised when the scrambler "bowls" came out. They were more of omelettes on top of country potatoes with toast on the side. They were still great, but not what we were expecting (scrambled eggs with our ingredients mixed in). I opted for the cinnamon apple waffle which was absolutely incredible! It tasted like fall in my mouth. Mixed with the crisp weather outside, it made me wish we were in October already! I will say, if you do get a waffle and aren't a "sweets" person, go with a regular or something less extravagant. The apple topping was decadent, but it was incredibly rich. I was glad I had the country potatoes and my omelet to offset some of the sweetness. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. It was very modernly decorated. The bathroom was fine, nothing special. The toilet seat of the stall I went into was not particularly clean, and the toilet itself was wobbly.

Their seasonal menu actually rotates every 6 weeks or so, and there's always something fun and fresh to try from their special selections. Written reviews matched our secondary experiences. The service was disjointed, and uncoordinated, and the food, should have never been brought to the table. But the claims of, "Under New Management", offered some hope of reviving the standards that had previously earned their namesakes, reputation and growth. This morning's breakfast experience was an astounding disappointment. Greeted and seated by cordial, pleasant staff, we were a party of 3, occupying only the second table, at 9:15 AM. (That emptiness itself should have been a hint of what was to come.) It took much longer than expected just to get coffee and water. Still longer, to place an order, and nearly half-an-hour for the actual meal service. The quality of the food, was nothing short of astonishingly poor. Most notably, cold. Considering there were only two tables occupied in the entire dining room, the cold servings were the first indication of coordination, communications, process, and standards shortfalls. The food preparation showed the skillsets of a 12 year-old, trying to mimic Mom's kitchen routine. How can a restaurant cook not do toast? It was white bread, with a slightly stiff outer layer. Most people would describe it as, "stale bread"; not toast. The pancakes served with the "Lieper's Fork Favorite", were beyond belief. Three hard little discs, served cold, with chilled hard pats of butter, and NO syrup. I actually demonstrated to the very nice server, that the pancakes could NOT be cut with a fork. Again - could NOT be cut with a fork! Come on... They're PANCAKES! Not a single bite could be sampled, without the utility of a knife. I am not a small person. I tried three places around the brown discs to acquire a bite. Țhe effort was foreboding enough. Ì surrendered. The scrambled eggs and bacon were edible, though lacking temperature, and uncaring presentation. When the server saw that the pancakes were as fork resistant as a Frisbee, she took the plate to the kitchen manager. He was a nice, apologetic young man, who acknowledged that the pancakes were "Overcooked on one side..." He did offer to make more. I declined. I told him I sincerely appreciated his offer. But the issue was much deeper, than plastic pancakes. As indicated by the lack of clientele in a fairly large restaurant, there was a blinding flash of the obvious. They were squandering the owner's investment. The kitchen staff lacked the skillsets to produce the simplest traditional American Breakfast - and - the wisdom to refrain from placing it up for service. The plating looked SO incredibly bad, that it was obvious that both standards and personal pride were totally absent. The staff was nice. Ignorance is curable. Training, processes, and well established standards can develop nice people into effective business associates. It's not their fault. They have NO leadership directions. The owners have let them down. Țhose owners have had ample signals and time to cure these maladies. They have a model, in their other facilities - that's how / why they opened more than one restaurant. But those owners are apparently oblivious to the signals of absentee management, process inconsistency, and the gross lack of product standards, leading to failure. To those nice people working at Puckett's, I have a sincere recommendation. The best time to find a job, is when you already have one. Your current employer is going to fail; sooner rather than later. They will surely continue with their communications shortfalls. They will not tell you in advance. They will simply let you go when they finally lock the doors. Take care of yourself. FInd an employer who has a distinct business survival plan. Such plans, include coordination, process leadership, training, and holding a team accountable to perform to the standards they were trained to. You're not getting that.
