Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is spectacular, and I've never had a bad experience here. But I have to say something about this ridiculous breakfast/lunch system. We sat down at 10:22 this morning. Our server tells us we have 8 minutes to order breakfast because at 10:30 they stop serving breakfast. Okay, no problem. So naturally I say, "Alright, we'll just order lunch." Nope. Apparently she can't put in a lunch order until 11:00. So from 10:30 to 11:00, we're just supposed to sit there and stare at each other. Seriously, what is this system? I'm sitting in a restaurant at 10:30 in the morning, hungry, surrounded by food, and apparently there is a 30-minute period where I am not legally allowed to order anything. It's 2026. We have AI, self-driving cars, phones that can translate languages in real time, and refrigerators that can tell us when we're out of milk. But Town Square Social apparently has a computer system that says: 10:29: "Would you like breakfast?" 10:30: "Absolutely not." 10:31: "Can I order lunch?" 10:31: "Don't get crazy." 11:00: "Okay, now you may eat." Again, I LOVE this place. The food is fantastic. This isn't a knock on the staff or the restaurant itself. But somebody needs to fix this stupid system. If I sit down at 10:22 and decide at 10:42 that I want lunch, I feel like we should have evolved enough as a society to make that happen. Not only is the town adorable, this restaurant is incredible. I read the reviews that recommended the daily special and I am so glad that I took the recommendation. I chose the smoked chicken, green beans, white beans and fried okra - and everything was delicious. There was so much food as well. We ate all of the fried okra since we didn't think it would reheat as well. The other food was enough for 2+ meals. The green beans and white beans were so good. Y'all, if you haven't tried Town Square Social yet, you really should. Everyone was super friendly, the food was really good, and the portions were way bigger than we expected for the price. It's hard to find a place anymore where you feel like you're actually getting your money's worth, but this is definitely one of them. I will say it can get a little loud during the busy times, but I want to give a special shout-out to two of the servers who went above and beyond for my autistic daughter when she was struggling with the noise. They were so patient, kind, and understanding, and that level of compassion meant more to our family than they probably realize. We'll absolutely be back. Town Square is always great. Perfect for a lunch or dinner with friends and shopping on the square at Poppie's and the other cute boutiques. I always order the nachos with tots instead of chips and add the smoked chicken on top as my meal (but it's on the app menu). Perfection. I've gone to town square many times at this point and the food has always been fantastic! My only complaint I'd say is the service itself isn't the best. We've haid witnesses "forgot" we were there (on nights it was empty) or forgetting our drinks. It was a Friday night at 5:30 and they were busy, but were still able to sit us immediately. The service was excellent, food came out quickly, and everything we ordered was delicious! We dined here on our last night in the area. I ordered the barbecue chicken pizza, which was a generous size at a fair price. I was stumped by the decision to have the pizza made with traditional barbecue sauce or "white barbecue sauce." Our server, Jennifer, suggested trying the white barbecue sauce on the side, which was delicious. It was vinegar-based and definitely different than I'm used to, but it was so good. Kinda an eclectic sports bar/Southern restaurant in the middle of Lebanon Square. I counted about 16 draught taps in every category. I enjoyed the Fish 'n Chips platter made with battered cod, served with Tater Tots. Tasty, and would order again. Also enjoyed the "Social Wrap" with chicken. Alert I: Now serving breakfast, 9 am-10:30 am, Sat & Sun Alert II: Beer prices do not match prices listed on the online menu. While we were there midday Sunday afternoon, we still found the place loud. The side dining area is less loud than the main bar area. There is also an upstairs. Our waitress was Alesha (she was new) and Alexis (She was training), both were waiting on us. Alesha was so nice and personable and Alexis was so enthusiastic. They both made us feel very welcomed. I asked Alesha what she would recommend to eat and she said 'Tennessee Honey Pizza'. She had it and liked it so we decided to throw caution to the wind and ordered it as well. Well it was delicious, it had Bacon jam, hot honey, chirizo, mozzarella, ricotta, salami. It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. OMG ~ This place is beyond awesome. Solid 4.5, oh so close to 5.0. Yelp does not do .5 stars so I had to settle on 4.0. Greeted well, and was seated promptly. Server was pleasant & knowledgeable. Ordered a spicy chicken pizza with the additional of mushrooms. The pizza is called "Lisa's Hot Chicken Pizza" and it was beyond incredible. Probably top 5 pizzas I've ever had, was delicious. Town Square Social always has great food. I absolutely love their smoked wings. That is my "go to" now each time we come here. We thought we would try the NEW upstairs rooftop area as it is the talk of the town right now. Service was awesome as always and the food did not disappoint. Our concern was the very loud atmosphere and echoing room. Just a suggestion, but it may help to keep the roll up doors open to allow the noise to dissipate some. Also another suggestion would be to make the upstairs 21 and up? Multiple small children in the small space adding to the loud ambiance. Finally, and this is just a suggestion being a resident in Lebanon; maybe make the upstairs stay open later on the weekends than the rest of the facility. Not a lot of options for late night dining in Lebanon. Rooftop area is going to be amazing in the fall. We are looking forward to coming back and enjoying this space again when it is more open and less crowded. It is worth noting that the space was not full. Also, 57 stairs straight up, so be prepared for the steep walk up to enjoy this one of a kind space in Lebanon! Chicken tenders and also a good choice and we tried the chili with grilled cheese. Love the atmosphere of this establishment. The decor is so welcoming and warm. The beer selection is outstanding and will satisfy any beer lovers thirst. I had their Burger that was so loaded with meat where I opened the bun and ate it like that. I did also order their fried pickles. LOVE LOVE LOVED that. And gives it the chops to compete with downtown bars. It's got a laid back cozy vibe, and the service is friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensive, with tons of choices - unless you're vegan, unfortunately. (Memo to Management: Do vegans a solid and slip a Beyond or Impossible burger on the menu with a dairy-free, eggless bun.) But the bar is a joy to behold for bourbon enthusiasts. This is a very good restaurant and it's nice to see this in Lebanon. My wife and I came here with some friends a few months ago and we really enjoyed our visit. The service was good, the prices were very good, and the food was very, very tasty. We had a pour of bourbon and a cocktail and we both enjoyed our drinks. My wife had the social sandwich with tots and she really liked it and I had a buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries, which was delicious and really hit the spot. Weird place with 40 + random people all claiming that they are or were the owners. Seems like no idea how too cook or run a restaurant. Take a 20 dollar online class and you can be an owner too or so people say. Like a small miked bag of older people that were fired from there previous employers. (Long dark hair, high-energy) She made an exceptional Bloody Mary. Recommended the green chili vodka. (Solid upsell) My husband had the Big Boy omelette and it was STUFFED. He loved it. We were reffed to this restaurant by our accountant Krystle at Advance Tax to this location. The location is located on the town square in Lebanon that is very cool. The square is resembles the Franklin TN downtown square with less fuss and circumstance. The restaurant was next door to the Chamber of Commerce making it easy to find. The parking was pretty ample and free. We entered the restaurant and were welcomed in by the hostess. We sat to left of the bar area directly by the pizza station which was cool to see the operation. Our server Justin was great and super attentive with our order. My wife had a shrimp salad and I ordered the burger and fries with the wings as appetizers. The buffalo wings came out very quickly with the blue cheese. The wings were a good size and sauced appropriately. The wings had a hint of smoke which was not super overpowering which I appreciated. My wife's salad was loaded with shrimp and my burger was perfectly prepared and tasty. The fries were seasoned and hot to perfection. My wife enjoyed a couple of mules and I had a Golden O'Dooles. Justin did a great job with our experience and we will be back. Great establishment and best of luck to your future. Please place on your radar if ever in Lebanon TN.
