I was not a fan of Jerry's style of massage. He talked through the whole massage. The herky-jerky strokes with the hot stones were not relaxing to me at all. I went in with shoulder pain and he never even massaged my shoulder, explaining it was the muscles around the shoulder that were the problem. Upon awakening the next morning, my chest was terribly sore. The interior could use a cleaning and an update. And the parking is a little sketchy most due to the people who hang out at the urgent care facility. read more

I am absolutely blown away! Jerry is very knowledgable and passionate in what he does. He took time to explain his methods and beliefs prior to the massage. He went over in detail in regards to my body's pain level and specific concerns I had to thoroughly address them during the session. Ive had right bicipital tendonitis for the past year, and consulted with many different physical therapists and chiropractors to alleviate the pain, but it never really worked. But this is the part I was so happily shocked! The very next day, tenderness I normally feel on the tendon was definitely minimized as well as its inflammation! I purchased a Groupon for my significant other's birthday. I thought it would be a nice surprise to do a class where I could learn to give more professional massages on her and also learn how to utilize my body to increase endurance instead of burning out my hands. My S.O. Robin was a little inhibited once she learned it was a class to learn massage. She thought she might feel like a specimen being studied, with two men working on her. She was pleasantly surprised by Jerry's professionalism and concern to make her as comfortable as possible. The fact that Jerry is a family man and incorporates his whole family in the business was very reassuring and supplemented the comfort level. Robin had been to a few different massage places before and even therapeutic medically based massage; on top of being to chiropractors and getting continual acupuncture sessions prior. Remember this was a class, so much of the time was used teaching me how to properly give a massage. Regardless, Jerry spent some time focusing on some problem areas that Robin was having. One of those problems was her arms and hands going numb. Within the time of teaching me and maybe a total of a half hour that he was able to actually utilize his real technique to focus on this issue; her arms and hands were no longer numb. Robin was astounded and the little amount of time Jerry was able to work on her issue made her feel better than she had in the past year using other previously mentioned methods. Robin had already decided to come back for another regular (not a class) session with Jerry so he could devote a full session just to healing her. Jerry offered her a package of sessions that was such an incredible deal that she could not refuse, even though she lives in the L.A. area. Whether you want a focused session or a class. Jerry is professional and will assuage any doubts you may have and you will find yourself wondering why you ever questioned or doubted going to BodyPros. I just love Jerry. Went in for sciatic nerve pain that was radiating from my neck to the tips of my toes. He explained and showed me the cause of my pain and explained what parts needed to be manipulated to release some pain. When I left my pain went from a 10 to a 2 and lasted all of 4 weeks. He has wonderful packages and the massage is top notch. Not to mention the moist heat, aromatherapy, hot stones and a couple of other nifty gadgets that helps alleviate pain. I was able to use a groupon deal for my first Swedish massage here. The massage table is ergonomic and is more comfortable than the typical flat massage tables. I saw Jerry who personalized the massage for me by the degree of pressure and which areas needed more focus. He also has a variety of essential oils that give off a relaxing and nice scent during the massage. They also give discounts if you book more massages after you first session. He could sense where there was pain as he was giving the massage, which is a skill that I wish more masseuses had, that plus they have a really cool color-coded communication system for you to them know when it's too much pressure. So funny story my wife went in to use a Groupon deal that was actually a gift from our daughter for my wife. My wife came in to get her stone massage but got into a conversation with Jerry and asked if he knew anything about sciatica because I was diagnosed with it for the last 5 months. Little history for the past 5 months I've been in agonizing pain and was taking multiple prescriptions that were not helping that were barely masking the pain that I was feeling. So Jerry said to have me come down and check it out and use the Groupon deal that was probably the best decision that I ever made because after three sessions with Jerry with his knowledge of massage and therapy. I honestly have never felt better in the last 3 weeks then I have in the entire five months of being on some super strong pain pills. I have tried Chiropractic and other massage therapy but it did not help at all.
