I went on a Saturday. The employees whispered to each other if they needed to communicate, which I appreciated. The linens smelled clean and fresh. My masseuse was Lili and she did a great job. She could tell how tense my body was and applied the right amount of pressure, but still asked if I was comfortable. She didn't skimp on the service at all, she made me feel so comfortable I didn't care that I was naked, lol. I left feeling so much better, my 3 week headache went away and my left shoulder that's been bothering me for a month felt 90% better. I'll definitely be returning at least once a month because Lili gives you bang for buck and I feel my body is circulating blood properly now. You can use your card to pay, but I recommend bringing cash for the tip. read more

Sunny Day Spa is a solid, reliable massage spot in San Bernardino, especially for the price. For $60, you get a full-body massage that actually delivers. They ask how much pressure you want and adjust as needed, and they check in during the session to make sure you're comfortable. That alone puts them above a lot of places. The spa itself is clean, professional, and has zero creepy or weird vibes, which is always a big plus. Was DYING for a massage. Work has been brutal. Called around for last minute service but only this place was available. Truthfully I was very hesitant when I walked in. I could tell they couldn't understand my English completely. There were minor communication hiccups. Didn't matter tho once they started massaging. Had Linda and think she did a great job. Hidden gem alert! This little hole-in-the-wall day spa is one of the few places left with fair rates and no price gouging. I love that the owner speaks English, they're open late until 10 PM, and they almost always accommodate my last-minute walk-ins after work. It's not the cleanest-looking place (and the bathroom is always a bit iffy), but the massages keep me coming back. The quality can be hit or miss depending on who you get -- if it's a guy, it might not be as good -- but I still leave feeling better every time. And the best part? Went in Monday night around 8:30/8:40pm & got a 60 minute full body massage. Paid $50 + a tip for the massage and will definitely be returning. The massage also included hot stones! DEAN gave me my massage and he did a great job. The pressure was perfect & he made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire massage. The parlor was dark and relaxing. Absolutely perfect 60 min massage by David! They are open long hours when other spas aren't, and really put a lot of good energy into the massage. Called on a Sunday at around 3pm to see, if they had openings for me and my fiancé for a foot massage. The lady said yes, for us to come by. We stopped by and since it was our first time, we didn't know what to expect. They had AC, it was clean and dean was polite and spoke English. Went in today for the first time to do a quick 30 min massage on my lunch break (I work in an office so I hold a lot of tension in my back). Linda was great with the massage, she asked if I was enjoying the massage and I told her if she could go harder since I suffer from whip lash and she did exactly that. I have been to other massage places that were amazing but I still tended to leave with tension still until I found this place. I can honestly say as soon as walking out the door all the tension was gone. Linda and lisa were very sweet to me and my friend. The space was very clean, and was dim lighted and not overly packed. My co-worker called and they opened up a space within 15 minutes of calling. We went on our lunch break, I was a little nervous at first since I have arthritis and my knee's are very sensitive to the touch. I mentioned to them in regards to that and they respected my instructions, and the lady that attended me was gentle in that area. I really enjoyed my massage from Lili, from the beginning to the end. DO NOT GO! It was awful. I'd been once before but was in so much pain this last week and my normal place was booked so I gave it another shot. RUDE I walked in 10 minutes late. Got lost, but the lecturing look was not needed. UNPROFESSIONAL No person at the front to greet you The person I had was sick. Poor thing. But I was still paying for this. But worse off, she FELL ASLEEP on me...twice! I had to wiggle to get her to wake up! I also got the combo 30 foot 30 fullbody massage and someone kept coming over to remind her of this. Which means I had to keep hearing the tense conversation During my 30 minute massage...which was listed as "with clothes on" a woman came in to tell me to take it off. Well. Ok. However, as I was disrobing the person walked in...and didn't walk out...I had to shoo her. Then my massage person did the walking on my back thing...without asking. And it hurt. Throughout the rest of the massage I literally thummed my fingers praying for it to end. When it WAS over she ripped the sheet off of me and said done. And stood there telling me it was over. Again, I had to ask her to leave. SERIOUSLY? read more

I was desperate to get some sore muscles treated in my back and neck but I couldn't afford to pay an arm and a leg. I called around and found Sunny Day spa who offered a 60 minute massage for $50. I cannot believe how good this massage was and it was all of 60 minutes. When I called the guy that answered the phone and asked me if I wanted to female or male, I told him I didn't care I just wanted a good massage. I arrived expecting a male masseuse but Lili greeted me, asked what massage I would like and then took me to a room. The power in this little woman's hands was amazing! I started to feel bad for her having a massage my 6'2" 350lb body but she didn't take any shortcuts I highly recommend this business and Lili She spoke very clear English, was easy to communicate with and understood and responded to everything that I asked for. read more

Sunny Day spa always amazed me. I have a lot of knots in my back and scapula areas. I usually do foot massage for 90min. @the price of $35. Foot massage they include your whole body without hot stones. Who can beat that price? They are really good in taking care of sore muscles and de-knotting my shoulder knots. Amazing!!! Saw Dean. He was wonderful. Told the owner (who speaks well English) the stress I was going through. Having a new baby with complicated birth, life issues and other stress. Said I need a great back massage to feel whole again and not like a wet noodle. My mid section and back pain has been horrible!! I mean to the point of crying. This place is GREAT! Go see DEAN. So recently I just went to Sunny Day Spa and you wouldn't believe what I seen what they did & do ....!!! They do not change the sheets when someone gets up from being serviced! They use the same bedding on everyone and the same sheet/blanket that goes over the face!!! I've been going to this place for a few years now and I can't believe that I never ever caught on to what there doing and I seen it with my own eyes. I do not recommend this place..it is disgusting to be doing that and think that it's okay.Shame on You Sunny Day Spa !!! Not to mention the guy was doing an appropriate touching/rubbing in the crack of my butt!!!! Sunny Spa is a very clean, quiet and friendly place to go to get a foot massage which I have gotten several times or a full body massage which also have had done she takes care of my sciatic pain I have down my leg it went away for 3 months the reason why it came back was I needed to exercise, stretch and change my shoes I didn't do none of those she said I should do so I have to go back again to give another massage for my sciatic so I need to exercise stretch and change my work shoes. Me and my friend went here for a nice massage! First time here and we wanted the full combo. It's family owned and not too happy about the area. Felt they didn't really understand any English and rough on the massage. The foot rub was nice but when it came to the body truly not what we expected. This was my first time getting a professional massage and Make really made it a great experience. He really got all my knots out (there were plenty) and he was gentle but firm and extremely thorough. You definitely get your money's worth he does not slack off whatsoever. Be sure to leave a nice tip because he puts in WORK! Will be returning and bringing my dad. read more

I have several bad vertebra in my neck. I also have fibromyalgia. Do any of the massage therapists havve experience quth fibro?

I'm not sure! I let them know that my rotator cuff is messed up and the man was not harsh at all. So you would have to call and ask them. Today was my first day. But I did enjoy everything. Also have other issues with my body and he did a great job.

Overall this averages out to 3.5 stars. First the disappointment part: In my opinion this is not worth the price it definitely left a lot to be desired in terms of quality of rooms. Our 2 room suite had broken furniture in the living room, bathroom and the sliding door between the room was broken. The bathroom window curtain rod was broken and actually came apart and fell down while I was showering with rusty nails falling in tub. There was no walk-in shower which might be okay but the tub was also not cleaned well and a bit rundown. For people traveling with kids or lot of luggage, please be aware there is no concierge service/bell boy or carts, there is also no way to disembark from the car with luggage before parking. Parking is a walk away, so be prepared to walk with luggage. There is a valet service which will help out at extra cost. The room service ends at 9pm. On the first day, the customer service was not good. We got more "No" than "Yes" from the front desk but the customer service improved next day and the hotel manager was really great (Henrietta) which made up for the first day and drove me to give it a 3 star review). We requested a roll over extra bed/mattress. I don't have a comparison of the quality of this in other hotels but the bed we received was like a hospital bed and very uncomfortable to sleep in. The suite faced the front road so lots of traffic sounds and road sounds through the night. The redeeming part: The hotel manager was super helpful and understanding when we expressed our concerns. She saved the day for us, upgrading us to a bigger suite for the next night. While we ended up having some issues there as well, she was sincere enough to remit us one night's stay due to all the issues. Note that the suite we were upgraded to was historic and beautiful. If you like the haunted history associated with this hotel, this would be the suite to book. We did not experience any spooky stuff but the charm and age of the walls and the medieval castle feel was enchanting enough. The suite was surrounded by beautiful gardens and fountains. It was lovely. Overall,beautiful, historic place with charm and a bit of intrigue but I don't think the pricing per night is a reasonable fit for the quality of the rooms and services offered. The rooms could use renovation and modernization without impacting the historic quality and architectural elements. Better staff training to ensure all staff are courteous and passionate about customer service, better upkeep/maintenance, pest and insect control and longer hours of room service /dining would be great.
