I really wanted to love this place. I saw on their website that they offer a free two week trial…read moreand I have been interested in kickboxing and boxing classes. I signed up online and received an email response the next day. I conversed with Chad via email and a woman on the phone. They both were very nice. Additionally, Joey gave me the run down of membership during my consultation but failed to give me a tour of the place until I asked. Now on to why I give this place only 2 stars. The place is NOT sanitary, well kept or air conditioned. The treadmill has duct tape on the belt. There is one large fan cooling the room. The mats and equipment that we used during classes are not cleaned. I personally attended a boot camp and cardio boxing class. After each class of at least 10 people sweating profusely on the equipment and mats, they were simply returned to their starting location. Additionally, the initial bag that I used for cardio boxing had visible sweat/slob stains and what appeared to be white vomit stains. Boot camp was good. It started late (which seems to be a trend at this place), but it was a good and challenging workout. The instructor took time to demo each station and observed, corrected and encouraged participants throughout the workout. Cardio boxing sucked. I'm sorry but I have no other words to describe my experience. Class was supposed to start at 6:00a. We twirled a jump rope with one hand and jogged in place for over 20 minutes!! I tried to actually jump rope to get a more intense workout but Baba (the instructor) informed me to twirl the rope instead. We did not start boxing until 6:35a. Then, Baba did not demo each move (only a few) and was not motivating or encouraging. I did not know if I had correct form because he was not helpful. After the boxing portion we were to do abdominal work. It was now 7:00a, so if you actually needed to leave on time and maybe go to work, sorry you would have missed out. We did ab workouts for about 10 minutes. The restroom was semi clean, did not have any soap and the shower curtain is see-through. I wanted to attend cardio kickboxing to see how my experience would be, but honestly I don't think I'll return even though I still have a week left. FYI: * $99 down; $99/mo for cardio only classes * $129/mo for all classes (MMA, Muay Thai, etc) * Gym is only open during scheduled classes or Open Mat times * First time boxing gloves are free. Each additional time $3 rental fee

I found out abt this place through an ad while scrolling on instagram. Your first boxing class is…read more$5, so i said hey why not try it !! I must say this was the BEST work out i've ever had. You get a full body work out doing this class !! we ran a little to warm up, got instructions for the boxing motions, did some weights, then back to boxing, then a cool down session. Katie and Heaven at the front desk was very helpful, friendly, and gave us warm welcomes. Zephaniah was my boxing instructor, he was very motivating, energetic, and encouraging. he kept the room on their toes, i liked that about him. The gym is very clean, they do have lockers, and there is a parking garage to park in. Single classes cost $27+ tax ! or you can pay for a 6 month membership or 12 month. these commitments are kinda expensive but i think is well worth it !! I can't wait to do another session !!

As someone who was previously a very happy unlimited member at Pepper Boxing's Battery location, I…read morehave never had such an egregious interaction with this brand. I recently decided to rejoin after moving back to Atlanta. After taking a class through ClassPass, I spoke with an employee (Chase) about enrolling in a 6-class monthly membership. I was clearly told everything was tentative, that I was not locked into anything, and that since I hadn't signed a contract, I wasn't tied to an agreement. I was told the card was simply to "hold my spot." Shortly before the membership was set to begin, I experienced an unexpected family loss. During that time, I was understandably not in the mental space for boxing classes and completely forgot about the membership until I saw the charge come through. I called immediately, explained the situation, and was told Chase would follow up with me. He never did. No one did. After not hearing anything for two weeks, I ultimately filed a dispute with my bank. I was then charged again the following month. For clarity, I never signed a contract, used the "membership," or attended a single class under it. Today I received a voicemail from "Tony" regarding my Midtown membership and returned the call. The conversation was shockingly unprofessional. He was dismissive, repeatedly stated he "could not" issue a refund, and made zero effort to acknowledge anything I explained. Only after I firmly pointed out that I had never signed any agreement did he "look into it" and suddenly determine that a refund was possible. I was also casually informed that the Midtown location had abruptly closed the day before and that Chase was "no longer with the brand." What was most concerning was not just the billing issue, but the tone and conduct. When I asked for his full name, he refused to provide it. At the end of the conversation, I asked again. He oddly stated "Zach," then dismissively said he had to call "all the other Midtown members" and could not continue the conversation. Ironically, his full name, Tony C******, appeared on the refund receipt. Combined with the billing issues, abrupt closure, and communication breakdown, this does not inspire confidence in how the business is being managed. I understand Tony maybe experiencing a stressful situation currently with the unexpected closure of Midtown. However, that does not justify speaking to customers in a dismissive or unprofessional manner. Treating people with basic kindness, empathy, and integrity goes a long way. The workouts are good. The operational integrity and customer care are not. Proceed with caution.
