I will say, that I liked my first class, but didn't LOVE it. Well after trying a few different coaches, I figured out whose style I preferred and then I became hooked. And by style, I mean music played during the workouts. If the music is banging, I'm gonna work 10x harder -- it is what it is. If it's not, I'm more inclined to leave and not stay committed to coming. Coach Madison and Coach Sera are my two favorites. Their music is banging, they correct my form during class when needed, and I just overall have fun in class. I seriously schedule my workouts around when they are teaching. If they aren't teaching, I'm typically not working out that day -- it is what it is. Each class is a different workout where you'll switch between the treadmill, weight floor and/or rower. For the weight floor, the coaches will demo the exercises before you begin them so you aren't looking a hot mess before you try them yourself -- winning! There are showers there that you can reserve for those folks that need to get right after class. One thing I REALLY like about this place is it's clean. There aren't sketchy people that workout here -- it's just a different crowd. Now, you will PAY to workout here. I have the unlimited plan where I can workout as much as I want for a $159/month. And that's their "corporate" rate. I believe the non-corporate price is $10 more per month. If you don't want the unlimited plans, there are other options, but you'll be limited in the number of times you can come each month, and it's still going to be pretty pricey. Trust me, if you take Madison or Sera's class, you'll want to come a ton. Parking...now in the evening after work, parking can be pretty tight. And they've had a lot of problems with break-ins in this shopping plaza, so don't leave your stuff in your car. It's honestly safer inside the gym. There are cameras inside the gym as well. Now listen, there is one small policy that I don't really care for, but hey...it is what it is. You have to reserve your class ahead of time. But sometimes things come up (e.g, life) and you need to cancel. They have an 8 hour cancellation policy where if you cancel less than 8 hours before your class time you'll be charged a fee. And it's a steep fee (up to $18 I believe) depending on which plan you're on. I've only had about 3 times where something with work or my kids came up and I needed to cancel. I will say that Shanna (studio manager) and the other front desk staff are great. I can usually let them know what's going on and they will not charge me -- but it's still annoying to have to call and explain. So yeah, that's my only gripe...but as you can see I'm still a member. Oh! And I forgot the best part! So I joined in November and I would say about a good three months in I developed this backside that was a NICE added bonus. Hubby noticed, I noticed, and I love it -- I'm hooked!

The trainer was very knowledgeable and really seemed to care about how I was performing the exercises, making sure that I performed them properly vs just doing an exercise.

I was so disappointed in this studio. It's in a great area, but the studio is only one room for everything, very cramped, and when people come in early for the next class it is disruptive during the yoga rest at the end of the practice. The class was Ok, there was a lot of dead space between moves, and it did not feel like a very good workout overall. And there were only a few moves gone over, not very cohesive. I tried calling a few times to cancel my last 3 classes that I reserved because I had to return home to New Orleans last minute for a family emergency, but there was no voice mail, the phone kept ringing. I was fine loosing the $30 since I only was able to attend one class for the week. I planned on sending an email once my flight landed back home and I was able to get settled and help my family through this difficult time, obviously sending an email to a yoga studio after several attempts at calling, was not my main priority. When I got to my computer yesterday, I had received a very snarky email from the owner advising me that she was charging me $10 for each class I missed, when I explained that I tried to call and inform that I could not attend, she very rudely replied that it is not her responsibility to cancel my classes for me. Over it, and make sure you do not save your credit card information to the site, they WILL charge you without your permission and there is no option to delete your card info once added, you can only edit or add another card. I recommend the Vita Prana Studio a little further down Atlanta road if you are new to the area.

The desk staff and trainers are great and I always see them putting in work. They don't have a basketball court which isn't a big deal but uniformity among the gyms would be nice. I love the events such as wine tasting - I think it was over 60 wines; the in-depth Pilates events, they recently updated the gym equipment, the coaches are great with fabulous playlist and there are a lot of community focused events. It's a really big tennis facility so if you're in to racket sports, this is the place for you. I still have my LT membership and that being said the locker rooms need an update. Integrating to a system that allows me to schedule tennis, massages etc as well as scan into the club would make things more convenient. I don't have traditional car keys so having to carry a single tiny card with me can be a bit frustrating. They are contract based - 1 year minimum but there is definitely value if you live or work in the area.
