Here's why we don't recommend Sweetwater Pools... Inexperienced technicians - unable to answer the most basic maintenance questions. Disrespectful to property - the technicians would disassemble our pool skimmer, using the pole to mix their chemicals (that's fine!), but then not put it back together. We repeatedly asked them to put it back the way they found it to no avail. It felt lazy and disrespectful. Zero communication - really hard to get anyone to call you back to address concerns or questions. To sum it up, we never felt like Sweetwater Pools valued our business or ever tried to salvage it. You have been forewarned.

Not a very good experience with Sweetwater Pools, we needed our pool cleaned after it was opened…read morefrom another not so pool friendly company, we agreed on the contract, made the monthly payment, almost 2 weeks later a guy from there comes out to clean and get the pool ready for summer, he only vacuumed half the pool, and dropped 5 3" tabs in the strainer basket and then he left, his "supervisor" then came out couple hours later, said he would have everything done even if he had to come back out and vacuum again, well he left to after about an hour, sides of the pool were not cleaned, debris still on the bottom of the pool, empty chemical bottle left on the pool deck, left and never heard from him again, called Saturday, spoke with Management but since he is management North, he could do anything, Monday I called the office, told them everything that was and was not done, I was told that the pool techs report stated " the pool was cleaned, chemicals added, and the deck was cleaned up with a leaf blower" I think its pretty sad when employees tell stories to there employers to make themselves look good while making a PAYING customer look bad. Not one word of sincerity or offers to help get to the bottom of the situation, I told them to cancel my NEW account, and was told "ok, have a nice day". out XXX.xx for 5 chlorine tablets and some bottle of chemical!!

Paid $750 to get a leak repaired, never came back to see if the leak was repaired Do not recommend at all.

It was so hot that we had to sit in our car and run the air for that hour. Then we get charged full price even though we were only gonna have 1 hr and 15 minutes to swim!!! Due to the long line we didnt get in until 5:45pm. They closed it at 7pm even though the sign said 7:30pm. We will have to try one closer to us. Hopefully the experience will be better.

The easiest way to this is from the parking lot, walk to the left and walk down the stairs. Keep walking on the boardwalk and watch for holes in the boardwalk. When the boardwalk is done, keep walking and then you will come to trees, the trees have steps made from the trees, & carefully watch your step and go down. I actually scooted my butt down and then climbed the tree steps. It was not bad, just something I'm not accustomed to. You will see the water and rocks moving and it is just so beautiful. People walk through and sit in the water and take pics. Be careful when you walk through it can be slippery. We had water shoes. Water is so refreshing. We actually walked the long way, which is walking to the right of the parking lot to the start of the boardwalk. We didn't want to walk down the stairs bc they looked pretty steep. It really is amazing. I'd say you will be here about an hour or two. Parking is free and there are a bunch of signs you need a fishing license. Which we don't have. We just parked And walked!

"No diving" is stenciled on the side of it, but all swimming is at your own risk with no lifeguards. He and his 2year old sister also played in the sand with the bucket and shovel we brought. There was plenty of free parking and a small concession stand with snacks available and a friendly lady working it who also sold us our tickets. That's where the positives stop. One of the very few rules was to use an ashtray but clearly not everyone did. And I didn't go into the bathroom but my husband, who generally is far more positive that I am, described it as "makeshift" with a sink and a toilet and just a wall for privacy (no stall). When I asked if they were clean, he gave me a so-so hand gesture -- this during the Covid-19 pandemic with no mention of it anywhere on site or on their website. The water was a little gross with floating and sunken vegetation along about half of the bottom. But the grossest of all was the goose poop along the waters edge. When we arrived, someone was at the water's edge raking vegetation out of it, but just left it laying along the shore next to the goose poop. Why bother? Finally, on our way out, my son and I both were having trouble with getting the water to come from the outdoor shower with more than a trickle. An older woman opened the door from the concession/admission booth and admonished him not to break it -- "We just had that fixed!" My husband walked up and said that it was designed wrong, making it difficult to pull. So next time I will save a lot of drive time and about $10 in admission and go a day use area on Lake Allatoona. Sorry, kid.

They sell can drinks, hotdogs and nachos for pretty cheap. There's a gazebo to have birthday parties and picnics at and then of course you can play in the sand and floats in the water. There is a dock in the middle where kids can swim out and jump off. I don't think this would be something worth traveling out to do, but it is a wonderful place to visit if you are already here. We go there 1000 times each summer since it's right down the road. Owners are so nice, and I've always been kind to us. I've never had any trouble here from other visitors.
