We did to want to do the nude portion of the spa. We spent four hours at King Spa. WE checked out all the rooms plus the ICE room. It was so relaxing and I did fall asleep a few times. Upstairs they have the Meditation rooms . Those rooms are the Oxygenated room and an infra red room. On the first floor they have a theater room, a salt room, a gold room, a sun room, a charcoal room, other rooms and a cafeteria area. You can also pay for a massage. The nurse told me that nothing is diffusing but she is what smells because she slathers herself in some oil to disinfect. 1) I like nurses to use proper cleaning techniques 2) the response should have been that she will go wash off or try to wash off the oil. But no. That didn't happen. So I tried to fill out the paperwork but the smell was awful. Then a guy that works there came in and said that it smells great. I said no, it doesn't. He asked what's wrong with me that I don't think it smells good. I said it made me feel sick and my sinuses don't like it. He told the nurse they should "throw her in the sauna." What?! I'm not the problem and I don't need to be thrown anywhere. Your crazy overuse of a concentrated oil is making me ill! I tried to finish the paperwork but I couldn't thing clearly enough to do it. I had to leave. So now I feel awful AND I didn't get a b12 shot. I'm totally disappointed because I'd have liked to use some of their other services but I just felt sick and put down.

I had such a wonderful experience as a first time soaker. I woke up on Saturday morning with a bad…read moremigraine and was stressed out. My Mom had suggested that I go for a soak. Shannon set up my appointment and greeted me when I first walked in. We spoke about how long I would go for. I changed into a robe, and slippers, in their beautiful changing room and I locked up my belongings in a locker. I entered the suite and was told about the ear plugs, which they had 2 different types. I preferred the blue ones which were attached to a string and went behind my neck. I liked that they fit inside my ear perfectly to block the water during my soak. Shannon directed me to shower prior to entering the tank. Right next to the tank is a stool that contained a small spray water bottle . This is to use, in case of salt getting into your eyes. You enter the tank completely naked. There is no reason to wear a swimsuit. The first thing I noticed was that my breathing seemed to change inside the tank. I didn't really think about it, but I also noticed that my lips were very dry as well. The temperature of the water was almost 96 degrees which is the temperature as the surface of my skin. I noticed that inside the tank seemed humid which made taking a breath difficult at first. I think it gave me a little anxiety. I was able to open up the door and as soon as I did that, I was fine. Right away I talked myself into calming down and I started to breath normally. I listened to wonderful soothing music and there were small twinkle lights right above in the ceiling. I completely calmed down and was able to close my eyes. I placed the blue halo behind my head to keep my head floating. It was very comfortable. I might have even drifted off to sleep. I got out of the tank, prior to my time being up. I took a quick shower to rinse off the epsom salts and washed my hair. I ended up soaking for 45 minutes which turned out to be just enough time. It went by quickly. The first benefit I noticed was how relaxed I felt. My migraine headache was gone and I felt amazing. also was extremely thirsty so Shannon gave me a bottle of water. I got dressed and blew my hair dry with the most amazing blow dryer. The blow dryer was something that might be used in a fancy salon. I loved it. Honestly I felt as though I was in a fancy spa. My experience was truly amazing and I will definitely be returning. My session was $55 for 45 minutes and was worth it. My body felt amazing.
