Inconsistent lab quality - bizarre results other doctors even questioned. Unclear on their lab storage and transportation practices. Lab draws- one of the most painful needle insertions of my life and I have highly visible veins! Poorly trained or very distracted nurses here and there. For some lab tests they make the patient do the paperwork! Other functional medicine practices (all seem to lack operational funding) at least manage this aspect of care. And overall, my previous provider missed a lot of key markers. I'm grateful for some initial tests but the root cause could have been identified with the right tests I did with another practice. And their peptides are priced higher for same amount than other places.

When I questioned why my race was necessary for what was supposed to be a simple facial -- not surgery -- I was told they "needed to know my race to determine my skin type." That explanation did not sit well with me. Skin type can be evaluated professionally without reducing it to race. Because I was uncomfortable with the additional undisclosed requirements, I chose to walk out. Transparency matters. If certain documents or demographic information are mandatory, that should be clearly communicated before taking a deposit and having clients travel significant distances. The facility is inviting, clean and relaxing. Treatment rooms are comfortable and have TV to pass the time during a drip. The schedule is flexible and offers day and evening options. I like the option for Botox, micro needling and fillers. I love that she offers an NAD+ drip program for improved cognition and is building her services portfolio to match her interests and those who seek wellness partners (like us!). Also the tiny attention to detail like offering a blanket while your drip does its thing, or a sparkling water, it's a nice touch!
