I found Village Pilates on ClassPass and booked the "beginner mat" class the night before. Getting there- There is meter parking right in front of the studio and you ring the doorbell for an instructor to let you in. As a first timer, they asked me to fill out a waiver upon walking inside. They ask for some generic information like birthdate and home address, but they also have a space where you can notify them of any injuries or health needs that should be known before taking the class. When I wrote that I had scoliosis, Len checked in with me and said I should let him know if I feel any pain during class so that he can provide me a modification. The experience- I was pleasantly surprised by my ability to follow the instructors sequence and pacing. "Len" was the instructor for the beginner mat class. He was super patient and helpful in correcting any errors in my form in a kind and respectful way. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to go back!

I am the type of person who needs a safe space to exercise and people around me who feel supportive and encouraging, and at Club Pilates Oak Park, I found exactly that. Every instructor I've worked with has been amazing, but a I want to give a special shoutout to Pete J., who's made working out feel fun for me again. His classes are challenging, he always helps me push myself a little harder, but most importantly, he makes me WANT to be in the room. We sorted it out, or so we thought. Last week, additional confirmation texts and calls were sent by your team members, when we were ALL already confirmed for our class. Today, we were informed that we were all being canceled because they want to reserve the class for those who, "actually want to sign up". We signed up for the FREE intro class back in March! We wanted to give it a try and then sign up if we liked it. We were never given that chance. I believe we were judged based on our names at registration. We've had issues since. It's Otherwise, why cancel? If there's only 12 spots why allow 23 to register? I'm disappointed and disgusted in the way this was handled. I'll never support this location. So glad, I never paid my hard earned money to attend a class.

There are 4 lanes, each can only be occupied by 1 person at a time. They require a mask while in the facility and check your temperature before entering. They had me check-in at the guest kiosk, and explained what I'd have to do to be added to my husband's membership, as there are no family packages. They offered towels as well. Near the pool is an outdoor patio, perfect for sunbathing. I'm not sure what the temp of the pool is set to. It was very cold going in, after a few minutes completely submerged you get use to the temp. There is also a jacuzzi tub, which appeared to be unavailable for use. I look forward to returning to experience the rest of the facility. I took off a star because the showers were dirty.

Since I've been going to FFC (about 7 years total?) and starting at Elmhurst, it was pretty good. The cost, from the beginning has been high - but, what you get in return is less of a crowd. With that being said, FFC Oak Park has hit me with a monthly increase per year since I've been there and I don't think I can do it much longer. It's unfortunate because its a decent gym but, I've never been to a gym ( and I've been to quite a few ) where the monthly payment has increased yearly.

Improvement was pretty immediate and ongoing during the period of weekly visits and I am still going strong. Dr. Green listens and explains in detail and is completely focused on working with you, the patient, during your visit. Sadly, this had not been my experience with other PT providers. I highly recommend Dr. Green and will only go back to B-Health. The administration of the office is very efficient and smooth as well.
