I have had nothing but amazing experiences at this studio and appreciate the warmth from the front desk as well as the Pilates instructors. It is a small, more intimate studio with somehow still a million teachers to move your body in various ways. It's nice to have a work out that I look forward to in all aspects. Frustrated, again. Even if you upgrade to an Unlimited package, you still run into the same problems of not being able to get into the classes you want and there is a penalty. When you do get pulled off the waitlist there is only a 2 hour notice. Friend: What are you doing tomorrow? Guys, I do Pilates now! Club Pilates is great, for me it's a nice release from the everyday for both mind and body. Dimmed lights, good music, skilled instructors who can make transitioning into different unique positions/exercises easy with just their verbal commands. I don't ever feel like a newbie. I've been working out at a few locations of Club Pilates since 2019 and La Grange is one of the best. I always get a great stretch in and feel better the next day. The instructors are really good at explaining what each exercise does for your body and they remind you "this should feel good" so you can adjust if it feels off. Highly recommend their Restore class if you have achy muscles. read more

This is the first workout I have been able to stay with so far.... Just about to hit 3 months. My first class was January 16th and I just completed my 46th class! The instructor's make the classes interesting and always let you know how to modify as needed. The other students are friendly and helpful. I love Club Pilates! It helped me get back into moving my body after a car accident that triggered a pretty severe inflammatory arthritis. The instructors are very in-tune with their students, and will always have modifications. The one thing that's tough is scheduling. Their classes are in high-demand, and unless you have a really flexible schedule, it's nearly impossible to get into the 5 PM classes without the highest level of membership. Even so, you'll find an incredible community, and CP LaGrange has wonderful customer service. They make every effort to fill spots when they were cancellations. When my schedule changed and was no longer able to get to their level 1 classes, it was very easy to cancel, and I got no pushback at all. It's been nearly a year since I canceled, and they just sent me a free birthday class! It kind of makes me want to join again! read more

Schedule Fills up fast it's a popular club, I love Xavier's customer service and getting back to me when i leave a message on the answering machine. Some of the instructors don't really advise you if you're having a hard time following or make mistakes. other than that I like coming here. read more

Getting an unlimited membership does NOT mean you can go as often as you would like. They limit the number of classes you can book ahead, and there are always wait lists which you seldom get into a class. They penalize those $10. or lose a class credit that don't cancel 12 hours in advance. I feel that those who can't make it, but don't cancel in that 12-hour time frame just do not bother to cancel since they're going to get charged $10. / lose a class credit anyway. What they should do (to encourage those that must cancel in less than 12 hours) is to not charge if their spot gets filled. This will encourage someone to still cancel even if it is just a few hours before the start of the class. I seldom have attended a class that had all 12 reformers in use! My other disappointment is the lack of 1.5 classes. I am not an advanced Pilates attendee, but I (and others) feel the 1.0 classes are just not challenging enough. For someone who works during the day, it would be nice to have more 1,5 options in the evenings and weekends. Everyone who works there (instructors & front desk staff) are all super friendly and helpful. Just frustrated on class availability. read more

Club Pilates La Grange has been great! I happened to join when the owner was there, too, and she gave me a warm welcome. I was finally released from my doctor to be active and workout during my pregnancy, and the owner assured me that they will help me through the steps to modify where needed for my workouts. She also helped me set up a 1:1 consult with the head inductor so I could feel empowered to modify for myself as well. Everyone at the front desk is always friendly and the studio is clean. Beware, trying to get out of a contract is a nightmare! I tried multiple times over the period of a year! The stress of trying to end the contract has been insane! Energie in Hinsdale was much more personal and kind and reasonable when i needed to end classes. read more

Had a free intro class in November and have been going 3-5x a week since then. I'm 55+ and finally found a exercise regimen I enjoy and will stick to! All the equipment-Reformers, springboard, chair, bosu, etc. Instructors are all good and provide great verbal cuing. Individual attention ensuring good form, and tips/ assistance for adaptations if needed. People are friendly, all ages, not cliquish. Parking can be tight at times. Theres a public lot at the end of the block. Highly recommend! read more

Very limited parking. Closest Village lot is at Burlington/Ashland. Booking Classes The Club Pilates app is easy to use, but popular time slots fill days in advance. You have to stay on top of it to get what you want, or play the wait list game and hope that there is a cancellation. Schedule If you work downtown, the class offerings can be a challenge to align with the train schedule. You may not always find the class level you want, in the time slot you need. Special Events The La Grange location hosts some themed classes, typically on a Friday. You have to spot them on their social media feeds and call to book, because they may not be listed in the regular schedule. read more

Really hard to find classes that are not booked up. They say to add your name to the waitlist but it doesn't budge. Unless you purchase the premium package at close to $200/month good luck finding a class. That is more than I can afford. Teachers are okay but they all just seem to walk back and forth and give commands. read more
