Dr. Cameron Green is THE BEST. I went in with ankle and knee issues and bone spurs in both heels. B-Health was recommended to me by my podiatrist and Dr. Green did a comprehensive review of my history and we started weekly visits with home exercises. Improvement was pretty immediate and ongoing during the period of weekly visits and I am still going strong. Dr. Green listens and explains in detail and is completely focused on working with you, the patient, during your visit. Sadly, this had not been my experience with other PT providers. I have been meaning to write this review for Dr. Morgan for three months after about 5-6 physical therapy sessions. However, because of this delay, I am happy to share that I am STILL pain free! I have been in and out of PT for various injuries and aches for over 15 years with very little success. I always feel better after about 12-15 sessions, but then find myself a month later with the same pain. Dr. Morgan's approach was so different from my previous experiences. She was able to diagnose what was causing my lower back pain after the first session. She felt confident that I would only need a few sessions with her. I did NOT believe it, but my pain dissipated so quickly! Dr. Morgan is a believer that everything in our body is connected. This was important because it helped uncover other areas of weakness that contributed to my back pain. We worked on proper technique and she actually taught me HOW to engage my core. I feel like this is something that I always hear, but did not know how to do properly. I was relying on my back too much and this led to intense pain. While working on engaging my core to take pressure off my back, Dr. Morgan discovered how weak my right leg and glute were from a previous knee injury. This was also a contributing factor to me relying on my back for assistance. Because Dr. Morgan looks at the body as a whole, she developed exercises that addressed both issues. The exercises were tailored for my individual body and pain/areas of weakness. As a result, I now only need to do a couple of them a few days a week to maintain my pain free back. In addition, Dr. Morgan taught me how to incorporate proper technique into my regular work outs so the maintenance has been easy. I can't believe this happened so quickly! I am building strength in my right leg and that has been easing the knee pain and most definitely keeping my back healthy. I am feeling so many benefits besides just the original issue. I have not been this pain free in over a decade! I am so happy I had the privilege to work with this talented physical therapist and will be a devoted patient to her when/if other pain arises. Finally, just an added bonus, Dr. Morgan is a really interesting person and I enjoyed our chats as she educated me on MY body and taught me how to use it in a way that would prevent pain. Took a small risk and went to a place with 0 Google reviews. I have been suffering from lower back pain in the last few years, and had another surge of pain come through, right during the whole coronavirus stay-at-home. Called Fuller Health Group and they were able to get me in same day. Additionally, they reassured me they only let one patient in the office at a time during the stay at home order. They also had free masks and hand sanitizer for patients to use. They were also cleaning equipment once every hour. Shoutout to Sam and Kane for being so helpful and responsive. I have been seeing both Dr. Kane Thompson, PT, DPT, ATC and Dr. Brian Fuller in their Oak Park practice for several months now. I have had scoliosis all my life and have been on an eternal search for a practitioner who could help alleviate the chronic pain associated with this condition. My search is over - Fuller Health Group has been a miracle! I have started bringing two of my children to see Dr. Thompson and Dr. Fuller, and they have benefited from their expertise as well. Dr. Kane Thompson, PT, DPT, ATC is certified in the Schroth method, which is a specialized approach for treating scoliosis. There are not a lot of practitioners who know this modality - it sets him apart from every other PT I have ever seen for my condition. He incorporated strength and movement exercises at the exact right time in my treatment, which have made a huge difference in my ability to get stronger. He is knowledgable, kind, patient, and passionate about his work. Dr. Brian Fuller has been the missing piece for me, and adding his expertise into my treatment plan has made a world of difference. His knowledge of the body and his integrative approach to the physical/emotional well being of his patients is critical. Previously, I have visited many health care techs before visiting the Fuller Group to see Dr. Kane Thompson, and I can honestly say that I highly recommend him for physical therapy. I have been diagnosed with a neurological disorder, bulging disks (C1, C2, L1, L2), and TMJ. Every time I go to a session I feel less pain in my back and an overall improvement to my health. Dr Thompson is very knowledgable and understanding. I have had other injuries that require PT and this has by far been the best experience. Kane has helped me post recovery from hip surgery. He has followed closely to the protocols set by my surgeon, but also adds his own experience and knowledge to my recovery journey. His treatments include needling, cupping, muscle manipulation and muscle activation. I truly believe my recovery has sped up due to his intense recovery treatments. I've been seeing Dr. Kane Thompson at Fuller Health for about a month now. I've struggled with chronic back pain for years, but a few months ago it started to become unbearable. Just sitting in the car was excruciating, so I knew I had to do something different about it this time. I had gone to chiropractors and tried acupuncture in the past, but was looking for treatment with longer lasting effects so I turned to Kane for PT services. I've honestly never felt more heard by a medical professional than I have with Kane. He took his time understanding my symptoms and every session has given me a detailed, yet easy to understand, explanation of what he sees is going on with my lower back, what he's doing and why, and what I should be doing to help decrease my pain and get my functioning back to optimal levels. It is clear that he is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to his work and helping people feel and move better. I highly recommend Fuller Health Group to anyone seeking thorough and holistic treatment. I've recently moved back to Oak Park, Brian was the first chiropractor I saw to treat my scoliosis when I was 14 and I am thrilled to be back in town to see him again. His treatments include muscle testing, applied kinesiology, energy work, nervous system alignment and supplements. This is not a crack and move on treatment session. He has not only helped my chronic hip pain from my alignment issues but given me insight into emotional and nutritional blocks that effect my bones and muscles, he takes a holistic approach to treating the spine that has been impossible to find elsewhere. Through Brian I also worked with Dr. Kane Thompson who uses both manual based physical therapy with functional based movements. He is a certified C2 Schroth Therapist, specifically for scoliosis. I've seen other PTs before and been given standard exercises that do not address the whole body. After 3 months with Kane I've learned about and corrected my posture and been given daily practices that have helped immensely with pain and muscle use. The offices are clean, new and provide private, one on one sessions plus a gym space for larger equipment exercises. I'm a huge fan of Fuller Health Group! Dr. Fuller and his team has helped me in so many ways over the years, with my health! I used to just see a Chiropractor, which I wasn't really getting to much out of. They adjust my bones and send me on my way. Dr. Fuller is a Chiropractor and a Kinesiologist. He studied Applied Kinesiology (AK), which is an alternative med technique where he can tell from muscle movement what is happening with your insides (possible organ dysfunction). He has been able to tell if my gut, intestines, liver, kidneys might need a little love, (via supplements, etc.). AK has even been known to find diseases as well. He can tell when I might need B12 or a specific vitamin or mineral, which wester medicine does not. Dr. Fuller has helped me recognize how many toxins I come in contact with on a daily basis and has helped me do my best to be toxin free, (ie: water you cook with, water you drink, water you shower with, makeup, deodorant, toothpaste, the list goes on). He offered a toxin test, (easy hair test), to see how much lead, mercury, copper, etc. I had in my body and then he helped me get rid of as much as possible. This test also showed him that I could have possible thyroid disease in my future, and steps I could take to prevent it. Western Med can only tell you if you have thyroid disease. My Grandmother, Sister and Mom all have this disease, and I still do not, and I'm 41. Over the years I have gone through rashes, and skin issues, ie: rash under my arms, eczema on my fingers. He even helped me identify what it could be caused from, and helped me with supplements or other ways to treat it. He is not a dermatologist, but he can do his best to help! I went through a lay-off at work when I was seeing Dr. Fuller group and I had extra stress, he suggested I do a saliva test, which tests my adrenal glands (stress glands). He will walk me through those test results tomorrow. I assume it will show my stress is very high and he will help me find ways to bring it down, possibly by meditation, etc. I had a dentist appointment where I had two cavities filled in the same appointment, and it caused a problem with my jaw that was very painful. I had trouble opening my mouth and eating food. The dentist blamed me for grinding and couldn't really help me. Dr. Fuller put gloves on and poked at muscles around my jaw and was able to get it back to normal after a few visits. I was so thankful, I thought it would never heal! I had a hysterotomy, and Dr. Fuller helped me pre-surgery and post-surgery with this. Pre-surgery he suggested a detox and supplements to get my body ready for surgery. Post- he helped me make sure organs were ok, muscles, hips were all getting back to normal. I'm sure he would have a better way to explain what he did to help. All I know is surgery went well and I healed fast! Dr. Fuller has a great team as well! I work with Minakshi (Min), she is a Certified Health Coach, and amazing! Min has helped me with the right foods to eat for me based on my lifestyle, workout routine, etc. I have had a lot of trouble losing weight even though I was working out a ton and I didn't understand what the issue was. She helped me get on track. I decided to try Prolon, which is a safe and effective 5 day cell repair/fasting diet. Min has done the fast as well. This fast really helped me lose 7lbs in one week, and keep it off! And you do get to eat food. I even had two other friends do it and they were able to keep it off too. Min met with me during and after the fast to help me tailor a proper diet for me. I learned what amount of protein, and fiber is needed to stay in a fat burning (vs. muscle burning) state, and what foods to stay away from. Min has also helped me with breathing techniques which is easy to do and helps with stress. I had pain in my hip that I always thought was strain from my IT bands and Dr. Fuller was able to identify what really was causing it and suggested I see his physical therapist, Julia, to help rehabilitate the issue so it would go away. Julia was so great! She gave me 5 easy exercises I could go and took the time to type them all out and email them to me so I would not forget. I am hip pain free after a month of doing what she suggested. The group just moved into a new, much larger office in the same bldg with a gym for physical therapy appointments, etc. Sam is also amazing and very helpful with appointments and is great at getting back to you with supplements, pricing, questions, etc. Dr. Fuller has helped me improve my workout routine. He can often tell when I might be holding an emotion in my organs like resentment, or anger and helps me recognize it. And when I'm feeling like slacking on my health (besides a cheat day here and there), I remember what he says "health is inconvenient" and it helps me get back on track. I have seen multiple chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Fuller was the least capable of treating me properly. I bought a six-pack of visits to save on costs since my insurance didn't cover chiropractic treatment, but after 6 visits, I decided to find another doctor. Initially he was ok, but on my 5th visit, Dr. Fuller injured my wrist during an adjustment for my tendonitis. I let him know right away that it didn't feel right, but he said it might just need time to feel better. I went back to him to discuss it about a week later after not having full use of my wrist and being in a lot of pain; he made no apologies and tried to adjust it again, but there was no improvement. Dr. Fuller was recommended by my yoga instructor at Core Power. I'd never seen a chiropractor before - and didn't have great expectations, but figured I had nothing to lose. I'd already had X-rays and MRIs to pinpoint the cause (degenerative disc disease/pinched nerve in neck) and physical therapy to help relieve the pain in my shoulder. I was able to mostly ignore the tingling/numbness in my arm and hand. I was taking Gabapentin to help ease the pain, but the tingling and numbness got worse. In addition to giving me an "adjustment", Dr. Fuller explained how Gabapentin works - and how it was probably responsible for the increased tingling and numbness. Holy shit. I weaned myself off that drug as fast as I could - and the tingling has mostly gone away. My 3rd "adjustment" was one week ago, and today I realized that the pain is miraculously gone, too. I have been experiencing hip pain for several months and neither a cortisone shot or conventional physical therapy had helped. Dr. Brian Fuller is a very skilled and practical chiropractor and nutritionist. I had always resisted going to a Chiropractor but two years ago I was faced with having shots in my lower spine due to chronic back pain, or the chiropractor .
