I arrived at this location and the door was locked. With a note back soon sat there 20 minutes. Finally when I called, the girl came out and open the door Seem like a nice place the first day. I came in, the bed they gave me like was ok for 12 minutes. All Good The next day same room after six minutes bed it shut off. I had my timer on I got up and I said it off and she said I will put a note in the computer. Next day I explain to the girl what happened she says we are having problems with that bed. Room #6 The six minute room Lol. She says I will call my manager. manager says can't do anything about it call Corporate. Customer service terrible. Don't waste your money. read more

After belonging to this place for over a year and trying to support local business, I just can't. I can officially say it has turned to a completely disgusting and non-sanitary place. I went there tonight and the beds were not clean, the spray tan did not even work. I asked for the manager to give me a call and of course I have not heard a word. Absolutely gross. The poor employee did not have any idea what she was doing. No support by her manager. Such a disappointment after being a customer for a long time. read more

This business has the absolute worst customer service as a company! The salon does not open at the scheduled time Saturday through Monday or whenever Cheryl isn't working. When you call to find out the status, they do absolutely nothing to assist you. Workers have said that they are late because they didn't have keys or had to take a key to another worker. That is indicative of the poor business practices. Fed up with the company, I wrote an email to cancel my membership. I was told there was a 30 notice for cancelation. I emailed them about the miscalculation. They then proceeded to charge me a full month even though that would be a full seven weeks since my notification. That is criminal! Usually I have a good experience here come in do my thing leave. How much do you expect from tanning. But tonight I saw hair in the bed. Pretty gross They have so many staff girl that don't wear name tags. 90% of the time their on their phones and just ask your name give you a number then wish you a goodnight as you walk out. Again, how much do you expect from tanning? The nicest one is older and blonde really cute lady. Tonight girl had her boyfriend (or some guy bothering her?) standing there The whole time I was there 20+ minutes at least. The salon is always clean, which is even more appreciated after the COVID nightmare year we've all been living. The worst! Do not sign up! They take your money and it's impossible to get refunds for their mistakes! The corporate office NEVER returns calls!! It's a nightmare. They never turn your EFT off. They will make things very difficult for you!! Just as an update, even though we have written multiple times to cancel, both my husband and I, they took another $105 out of my account. Then had the audacity to tell me I'm rude after complaining for the gazillionth time. I have lost my patience and I'm about to contact my attorney. And I do have one. I use this location because it is so close to my house. I only use spray tan and the booth is so, so, so old and broken down and sad. No heater so if you tan year round be ready to be cold!! The upside of the old spray booth is if it is broken down you will get to use the fancier sprayer which is heated, has a consistent spray and includes moisturizers. The staff is nice enough although I did have to spell my last name at least five times one time since the employee just could not grasp the idea that my name did not start with Mc. No high pressure to buy products. Location is clean. I've never tried the other options so I don't know what they are like. I'll always use this location. I just hope the fix the ratchet spray booth soon. read more

I love this Valle Verde location!! Although the 24 hour locations are convenient, Valle Verde is always clean, the beds are nice, and the staff is great!!! I have a VIP package and I canceled my package. I've been tanning quite a few times with no results due to the lights they are all overused. They have no power to them you could tell by the end of the lights you can see that they are blackened on the end and need to be replaced. I asked when was the last time they were replace they could not tell me. Are used to own a tanning bed and know that much about them. Change the lightbulbs on your tanning bed. read more

I've been tanning here off and on for years. I love you are able to go to any store. Very convenient! I do both the tanning beds and spray tan. I like both of them. I've went to other places but haven't gotten as dark as I do here. Not customer service orientated at all and will rip you off when you try to cancel and make it as hard as possible to stop being charged. Do not begin a subscription without knowing you will be stuck for months after cancellation and with no regard to you or even care about whether they want you to return or not. Really not sure why the stars are so low on this place, I did read other reviews but I havent had any of these problems. I have the highest level package with Bodyheat and generally only law in the FGT (filtered glass tanning) I am PALE white but can tan very easily in this bed. I sometimes get a little red but never burnt. I love this bed and get a lovely brown color super fast. The girls at this location are kind and informative, Ive only received great customer service. I can go to any location and that is another thing I love about my package. read more

Buyer beware, even if you specifically think you are purchasing only a limited number of tanning sessions they may go ahead and sign you up for a renewing membership without your knowledge. That's what happened to me. When I noticed it on my credit card bill and discovered they had been charging me for several months I called corporate to ask them to refund me they said I had signed a contract. Um no, I had signed on an electronic pad for the service I thought I had purchased. The lady said I should have asked for a printed contract, Why would I have done that, I thought I was only paying for the month of sessions I agreed too? This is bad business. read more

I saw a groupon for $49.99 for unlimited tanning in up to a level 4 bed. I have been tanning for many years and decided to buy this great deal as I am new to the area and was looking for a new tanning salon. When I walked in, the front girl told me there system was down and it would be a few minutes, ok no problem. When it was back up, I gave her my ID and she entered all my info. When done she suggested a time of 8 minutes and said ok you're all set in room 9. Great, but I have never been here and wasn't even offered a tour of the place or shown where the room was or how to use the beds or anything. Yes I have tanned before and most beds work the same but being a new customer, it would have been nice to have someone show me. Also, noticed no protective eyewear was provided... Weird, every tanning place I've ever been to had always left that in the room along with the towel. Next, no music?!? I hopped in the bed thinking it is controlled inside the bed, nope. I'm assuming people just play there music through there phone then?.. Or it is on the beds and I just didn't know because the button functions were never explained. All in all, I wasn't impressed with the service they provided to a new customer. I'm hoping my next visits will be better. But as of now, I will not be signing up for a membership with them after my groupon expires. read more

The employee at the front desk was very unhelpful and rude. I am a regular tanner so I don't need someone to hand hold me but a smile would be nice. The bed she assigned me was in the far back corner and the room was dirty. I suck it up and get in the bed, there were 4 bulbs out in the top of the bed and at least that many in the bottom. While laying in the bed there was a large number of pops which leads me to believe the bed hadn't been used in awhile. I ended up getting out of the bed and not finishing my tan. I will never be going back to this Body Heat. Horrible experience and horrible tan. read more

I went for a level 4 bed tan then a medium spray tan. The first bed the lady put me in didn't work. So she moved me to another bed. Which didn't feel like a level four. Then I went from the bed to my spray tan. My spray tan LOOKED HORRIBLE. The whole middle of my body (middle of my chest to the bottom of my feet ) the whole center of my body was completely blotchy. Like there was something wrong with the machine. I had to go home and immediately shower to get the spray tan off of me. Eastern and 215 location is so much better read more

Corporate will never get back to your emails. Barely answers the corporate phones when called during normal business hours. Horrible customer service at corporate. Locations have nice workers but they are completely helpless when you have issues. "You'll have to contact corporate". Yet corporate doesn't accommodate any inconvenience. Doesn't help in any way. Really horrible experience after being w them for 3 years. I had an issue and it was reoccurring. Absolute nightmare trying to figure out a solution when corporate is so incompetent in running a business. I stopped here on a whim before going on vacation hoping to get as tan as possible in one session. Thankfully, I do tan easily. I've had a rough year and I looked pale and unhealthy and I wanted to look better than I felt. The front desk attendant was very polite and explained to me how their highest level bronzer bed works. Although I was shocked at the price, more than I've ever paid to tan, I decided to try it and I'm glad I did. I couldn't afford to tan at this level all the time but it worked for my desperate situation. Other noteworthy mentions: the place was very clean, especially the beautiful floors (which I always notice at tanning salons) and I also liked how quiet and serene the atmosphere was. This place has excellent beds. That being said, let's get into the SCAM. When you go in they have a sign at the counter with each tanning level package. To the right of the bed images on the sign they have 2 pricing structures, one that is a membership & one that is a month to month for $10 more. Here's where they SCAM you. Both packages are completely identical, in that neither are month to month, and both are contract memberships. You simply pay $10 more for the "month to month" for no reason whatsoever. Which means, yep, you're right, month to month doesn't exist here. If you sign up for a month to month here, not only are you not getting the option of paying month to month, but you're paying an extra $10 a month for their SCAM. Also, they've decided to follow in the footsteps of most gyms in that they try to make it a nightmare for you to cancel so that they can keep taking your money. I've taken all appropriate actions to have my account cancelled & will not be returning. I might also recommend, if you're ever in a scam situation like this, to close your bank account and open a new one as well. Shady business for absolutely no reason at all is just the worst, & people that think it's okay deserve to deal with collection departments all day everyday trying to collect money from someone like me that will never pay them another cent. read more
