Body Heat Tanning provides a unique Cryo experience. No cries or panicking included. My recent undertaking the ole Groupon try and should have bought the 3-pack. While I am unsure about committing to the $130-$170 monthly membership just yet, the options in Vegas are a bit limited so I could see myself returning once a week especially in the summer. No reservations required as you're out of there quickly to get some blood moving. One place I called gave up on Cryo and switched to ice baths which aren't a good replacement. I decided today was the day I would try my skin flushing niacin B3 and following it up with a Cryo freeze sounded good to tame a migraine. There are four options: -90F degrees, -184, and then two more in the negative two hundreds. I went for the -184F for three minutes. Before entering the chamber, staff provided protective gear such a loose face mask, ear warmers, gloves, wool socks, warm slippers, short shorts to cover your underwear, and no shirt unless you want one. It is crucial to remove any jewelry and avoid applying sunscreen shortly beforehand(whoops!) They close you in an upright padded room with a window on one wall to knock on or fall on if you can't handle it. You get to see a little count down mocking timer. As I entered the chamber, I experienced stiffness in my legs after one minute. To alleviate discomfort, I performed a quick stretchy dance a few times throughout the session. Then one minute thirty it started getting cold. I was wondering how well I could knock on a glass with gloves or how well they could see me with all the fog since I could barely see outside the unit. Aided by hearing external conversations through the fogged windows with the attendant, I calmed down for a few then it was down to one minute remaining. Only six sets of ten seconds I thought, no problem and before I knew it, my time was up. There was frost on parts of me and I felt much better providing relief from my migraine symptoms for several days. While still contemplating a monthly commitment, I found value in my cryotherapy experience. It is definitively a value added over and above an ice bath. I plan to try a few more places with Groupon deals before I make my decision allowing me to fit these brief treatments into my schedule. Overall, I recommend this unconventional method of relaxation and rejuvenation to those in search of a novel approach to personal well being or relief from the heat. It has many anti-inflammatory benefits and evidently burns 500-800 calories in 3 minutes. read more

This establishment is subpar. The beds are mediocre and the staff is ridiculously disrespectful. There are many other tanning facilities that offer superior customer service at a lower price point. I initially chose this facility due to its convenience, but after dealing with the corporate office, I realized that their customer service is not worth the hassle compared to other options. This is the WORST & most unprofessional business I've ever been to in Vegas; There's a girl who works here who's one of the nastiest people I've ever encountered...She was so VICIOUS that I have no desire to go back...On top of that, the remote for the red light machine has wires sticking out of it...You'd think that a business would fix something like that to ensure the safety of their customers, but no...The red light chair looks like something you'd find in a dumpster lol. There are friendlier employees at other Bodyheat Tanning locations, but still...their overpriced packages are not worth the money. I hope the owner treats their employees well, but I doubt he or she does because the workers seem miserable & overworked. I wrote corporate about a month ago about canceling my membership; They still haven't returned my email! This is bad business. No other business that I've encountered in Vegas has been this negligent. I'm attaching the email I wrote to corporate; I don't understand how this place continues to operate w/ tons of 1-star reviews. If Bodyheat Tanning doesn't change their ways, most of their salons will go out of business in the next couple of years. So obviously this is a tanning spot, but it is a supreme spot due to the fact that there are so many rooms with so many different types of machines, there is no way you cannot find what you're looking for in there. They have the standing up ones, they have sitting down ones they have laying down ones, they have collagen ones they have multiple different brands if you prefer one specifically. The price is slightly steep but they do have a solid membership for 100 bucks a month you can do as many tanning beds as you want in a month and that's a pretty good deal because some places charge you $25-$30 per session. The staff is extremely friendly and got my membership set up very quickly, the only downside is that canceling the membership is a bit difficult but hey you can't have it all. The machines are very clean, they have lotions and goggles and again your tanning experience is express and efficient and that's all you can really ask for. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. First of all, your "manager" Heather who was working at corporate office this morning hung up on me simply because I wanted to speak to her manager. I asked for basic information so I could get help from another person as she was absolutely rude. She hung up on me then proceeded to block my number. Nice Job Heather, you just lost a loyal customer and many more to come. Also, how do I take care of my account after you have proceeded to block me for no reason. Is this really necessary? Heather from corporate office is the absolute worst. She is one of the rudest persons I have even encountered. There are way too many options about there to choose from when it comes to tanning salons. RIO Tan on Charleston & West 215 has been recommended to me countless times but I've stayed loyal. It's time I take my business elsewhere and so should everyone else. Their prices are better as well. I can't speak for anyone else who works at body heat tanning as I have had a pretty good experience with the workers at the Flamingo & W 215 location for years but Heather should not be in charge at corporate office. I have been a long time customer of body heat tanning. Unfortunately, my child fell very Ill and although I was no longer in contract, I still had an obligation to request cancellation. I emailed corporate office and was met by a returned email from one of the rudest people I have ever come across. I was told they could not cancel my contract because my most recent payment did not go through ( due to a change in bank accounts). I then advised I would be paying it but I wanted to ensure they cancelled my account as to prevent any further charges as I was going through a very difficult time with my child and I just would not be able to pay anything more right now. I then proceeded to call corporate office and was met by the same very rude person. She had no compassion whatsoever. I almost lost my child and have been in and out of the hospital with her. I reiterated this to Heather but she basically said "too bad so sad". I now owe them over 300.00 and if I didn't pay it, they'd send me to collections. I asked politely to speak to management and she said she was management. I asked for her title and she said she was not permitted to give me that information but that she is the only person I could speak to. I asked for the name of her supervisor or manager and apparently, there is not one. Maybe she is the owner maybe she is not a manager at all but whatever the case, she is absolutely horrible. She stated that she has the highest title there although she wouldn't elaborate on what title that that was. She then hung up on me as I was asking for her last name. I guess I'm just SOL. Perfect! I attempted to call the 215 & W Flamingo location since I was rudely hung up on but it seems she blocked my phone number. The phone number listed on the website for all locations is the same number for corporate office. So basically I was blocked from simple calling but you'd like me to take care of a bill or you'll send me to collections? Unbelievable. Heather... dear. Treat people how you want to be treated! Absolutely horrible service and they wasted a lot of my time. I purchased a Groupon for cryo, went in, and the front desk lady redeemed my Groupon. Then she said she can't enter me into the system. And therefore cannot give me the service? She said oh have you purchased this before and I said yes, a year ago. Literally one year ago. She called her manager Kennedy who pushed her off and told her to tell me to contact Groupon (or corporate). I asked to just pay the difference and get the service, couldn't do it. I then contacted Groupon, they said they can't refund me without written confirmation from bodyheat. I then asked her to call Groupon and give confirmation. She called Kennedy her manager once again, and once again Kennedy said nope call corporate they're available on Monday. So I walked away with no service, no solution, and no refund. My first time coming to Bodyheat tanning. The sales associate didn't seem to be very knowledgeable. After purchasing a spray tan the screen asks you for a tip, weird . Change my 1 star to 3. Corporate has contacted me, the are honoring the promotion that started 2 days after I signed up, so my next month will be $1. Corporate has also agreed to adjust the 30% I was over charged. They advised I will see the credit is 10 days - so I have not seen the credit yet, we are in day 4. My opinion still stands on if you should trust a company that doesn't provide their front line staff the tools to provide the level of customer service each and every customer deserves. There are plenty of other tanning Salons in Vegas - this wouldn't be my first choose. Had this sweet young thing put me in the cryro machine and she was super helpful every step of the way. She helped me figure out how to put all the gear/clothing on so that I was all bundled up but also almost totally exposed at the same time. I was dressed like i was ready to walk into a 120 degree blizzard. After putting myself into that frostbite machine I instantly felt my manhood go numb and shrivel into a tiny little micro-shlong and knew this was the craziest thing me and my shlong ever had to endure. I started panicking at how frickin cold I was and the lady that works there came over and saved my life by rolling the widow down on the cryo which let in just enough warm air to keep my family jewels from falling off and shattering into a million pieces on the cryo floor. Even though it wasn't as cold anymore I was still freakin out like a puss so I told her to get me out of this thing so she shut it off and I walked out of the cryo early with only like 3 seconds left before the full time was up. Even though my manhood didn't fall off this cryo machine still claimed it since I wasn't even man enough to finish the full time. Their Versa Spa spray tan machine is much, MUCH better than the one on Maryland Parkway. The spray does not leave you any streaks and the clear medium is actually a medium shade. The one on Maryland Pkwy left me all uneven, streaky plus the clear medium turned out super light. It may be a little bit out of my way, but I much prefer to go to this location from now on for spray tans. read more

Unfortunately the bed I was put in "hasn't been working all day". I tried it 3 times (each time redressing to go let them know.) The 3rd time no one was at the desk. I went back and got fully dressed and when I went up front, there was still no one at the front desk. Although this isn't typical it's extremely frustrating as this was the last chance I had to catch a tan before leaving for a friends wedding in FL. I've been a member for over a year and I tried a new formula different from what I normally use and had an allergic reaction twice from it causing two visits to urgent care, I had a huge rash on my neck and difficulty breathing. I called body heat left voicemails to their corporate office before my august payment was due and Brandy told me a week ago I would be refunded for august and my account would be cancelled. I called again a few days ago and they told me that it would take 7-10 business days just like brandy did. Today I got a phone call saying I can't be refunded even though I have proof of urgent care visits and pictures of my rash and she already told me it would be. Pay attention to all the one stars, and the people saying they would leave zero stars if they could. These ratings are here for a reason. This is the worst and most unprofessional business I've ever unfortunately given my money to. One of the many poorly trained employees ran my credit card for a 10month contract when I never signed a contract. She promised me the sunless "month to month" that was I paying for came with double dips, upgrades, unlimited tanning, etc. Then I find out I'm paying more per month than agreed and I'm locked into a 10month contract... I called corporate, they saw that I never signed anything and after 5 months of paying more than I should've they moved me to month to month, which I should've been on the entire time. I was also charged almost $100 in May for a "annual maintenance fee" which no one told me about. Once again I called corporate and they said all their employees are trained to tell customers about this, but I was never told. I canceled this month because of all the hassle and hidden charges. They told me I would have one more billing cycle due to 30 day notice but I could still use the services until the end of the billing period (which is normal, that's fine) but I went into tan and was told I can't tan unless I sign up for a membership???? So I'm paying for my last month but cant use the services I'm paying for unless I sign up for a membership...that I just canceled??? Make it make sense. read more

I use to have a membership with Bodyheat and decided to come back for my free birthday tan! There was some complications under my profile but the girl at the front was so sweet and accommodating! She fixed it in a timely manner and was super professional! I do see some mixed reviews about this location and felt the need to write one (even though it was a free tan) because the front desk was super friendly. The salon itself was super clean and this is only 2 minutes away from my house! I definitely will be coming back! Thank you again for the amazing service! Worst place to tan in Vegas. During Covid they were closed and they still charged me $120 a month. I tried to cancel my unlimited tanning membership several times over the phone. They said they required me to email them. After emailing them they still took money from my bank account. I am bringing every news station to write a story on them. They are taking advantage of their clients during the pandemic. I'll never give them my business again!! I called and asked to speak to a manager to see if I could come in and re spray. The manager on duty maleijah told me there was nothing she could do. Body heat is a JOKE compared to other places like Tan Republic. The only thing good about this place is that there are so many locations. The employees are typical stand offish teenage girls. They don't make you feel welcomed whatsoever at ANY location. You feel judged the second you walk in. The prices are crazy. $100 a month to get sprays and bed tanning? And an extra $10 if you want to use the VersaPro??? Plus an extra like $5 if you want a different type of spray that doesn't smell bad. Also, I noticed my sprays weren't lasting as long and they got extremely patchy to where it looked like I had a skin disease. I asked the girl about it and she said that they changed to a cheaper solution. TRY DIFFERENT TANNING PLACES. I personally switched to Tan Republic for these reasons. The workers at Tan Republic are SO FRIENDLY. You get greeted with a smile instantly and you don't feel judged. (And they give out jolly ranchers). The best part.... IT'S ONLY $60 TO USE EVERYTHING. I personally have the $50 membership which includes sprays and level 1-4 tanning. (And possibly red light, but I'm not too sure) Oh... AND THEY ONLY USE VERSAPRO. Not that cheap solution crap that Bodyheat uses. So basically you get dried between each spray and you can choose ANY solution you want WITHOUT extra charges. The only downside is that there's only 3 locations... but they're spread out pretty evenly. Just to clarify, I used to love bodyheat until I started to go to Tan Republic. I came in today for my 18th birthday to get set up in a tanning bed for my first time ever. I'm very familiar with spray tans and sunless tanning but had never tried a bed before so I walked in very nervous as I knew nothing about how it worked. Serenity and Amaya were so sweet and helpful getting me set up with a membership and the lotions I needed and giving me recommendations on what beds to use. Serenity even walked me back to the bed to show me exactly where all the buttons were and what to do. I felt so comfortable and can't wait to go back. They even told me happy birthday on my way out the door and were the sweetest ever! read more

Having been tanning at another establishment in Las Vegas, I figured I'd drop in over the "Free Tan Weekend" just to see if I missed things at Bodyheat. Verdict? I don't miss it at all. There were three girls at the desk, all of whom were even more rude than I remembered. Yes, I realize I haven't tanned with your company in over two years; however, it's quite obvious I have a solid base tan and don't need to be put in the bed for the minimum time (it took nearly eight minutes to convince them I wouldn't fry my bits off if they put me in a Level 3 Bed for the full time.) Also, their tanning education has slipped significantly, as their Sun Angel, while it has High Pressure (HP) bulbs for the face, is not a High Pressure bed. But I knew that argument wasn't even worth having, as I had now spent more time at the desk than I would be spending in the bed (12 minutes.) They get a star for the selection of beds, their 24-hour convenience, and the fact they carry my favorite lotion line (MRInternational.) But their lack of tanning education, nonchalance, and downright rudeness ensures I will never be a paying customer again. read more

I came here to get a spray tan yesterday because I had event to go to a night... I originally was going to do a double dip a bed and a spray tan it was around $52.00 which is fine but But when I told the lady that was working( the older women) that I wanted to add the prep moisture spray, She told me it's an extra $14.00. Which it a bit much I usually pay $5.00. So she told me if I wanted to have the moisture spray I would have to use the versa spa pro. So I winded up just doing the versa spa pro which came out to $45.00 with the moisturizer. She didn't ask if I wanted light dark medium nothing. I go in the booth and get sprayed and I see nothing at all. I spray tanned many times in my life unless the solution is clear, you should see something. So I get out after the spray and let her know that I don't think there was bronzer or color solution in the machine. She she instead she seen color or my cap but there was nothing. She said I would see the color in 4 hours for sure .lol... um no I remained the same color. I wouldn't advise anyone to go there to spray tan they have high prices which is fine but the quality of their machines and solutions are horrible! She didn't even say to come back if I wasn't satisfied or ask if I wanted to spray again nothing ! Don't waste your time or money here. The older women that works there seems like she doesn't like her job. Clearly doesn't have customer services skills. I would recommend palm beach tan on eastern & coronado. The spray tans are $40, they have upgraded machines the moisture spray is included in the price, the machine drys you after every spray with warm air and it double sprays certain areas (such as your legs if you like )and it's included in the $40.00 prices. Came in yesterday 5pm for a quick spray tan before a casting call. Girl at front desk was nice, process went well, I seemed to look really tan... until I showered this morning (10am) Most, if not all, of the product washed off in the shower and none was absorbed into my skin. I had actually placed a sticker on my lower abdomen to compare, and you couldn't even see where the sticker had been placed. Basically a waste of $62. I've never had an issue holding a spray tan before, so not sure what it could've been (I even used a primer). I was given a bottle of the spray formula they use, that's why I'm giving the 3 stars. Oh my what a disgusting place, has roaches, the staff are all thieves. I left my hoop earing in the room. I called immediately and the girl who works the morning shift, a little burnett girl answer and I asked if they had my earring and the girl stated yes its here. I advised I would pick up after work. I get there it's not there now. A staff member stole it and The manager.....the little short stocky woman, that staff state shes never at work ...I think her name is Andy or Sandy short burnett you cant miss her....her manners are disgusting. She never called me or try to see who had my property. Read other reviews....there is someone who left her rings and same thing happened to her but she saw the rings the drawer and pointed them out.
