I had a wax with Sierra today and my experience was awful. I've been getting waxed for years now but I'm new to the henderson area and wanted to give them a try. I had to ask her name after she told me to get on the table and undress. She didn't ask if the wax was a good temp, I had to tell her I wax very hot. NO conversation what so ever. It was very awkwar,Might I add she never left the room while undressing or dressing. no post oils or anything. I just didn't have a pleasant experience, I felt rushed. while in front she had already called the next person back. It felt like some sort of sweat shop. I will not be returning! read more

My review is only in reference to the facility. The staff is excellent. It is literally colder inside than outside. The staff states corporate locks the thermostat and is set at 65 degrees. That is much too cold and actually uncomfortable. My fingers are frozen waiting the 5 minutes for my wax. Unpleasant experience to say the least. read more

I've been a loyal customer here to Claire & Bryn for over six years. After speaking on the phone today with Roxy and having to deal with her attitude, tone, lack of customer service, and talking over me aggressively, I'll easily visit another location till Roxy is removed. I've never experienced asking a question to a EWC representative & then talked to so poorly. Hopefully a manager sees this because I know by just the way Roxy speaks and conducts herself that she wasn't going to leave a message for a manager to contact me. read more

Figured I could use an updated review since my last one was from 2014 but hey guess what??? I'm still coming here!! Great location, close to home & love the staff here!! Though there always seems to be new people working the desk when I go in. I see more new people when I go in then some of the same people working. I still see Delilah for my brazilian wax. Every once in awhile I may get my chin or eyebrows waxed. She's still friggin AWESOME!!! Love our brief 15 minute chats, filling in her on what's been going on with my life. She always applies pressure after pulling the wax off to help alleviate the pain. She's quick, professional & knows what she's doing. She will trim your hair's for ya & pluck out the in growns..... I like to purchase the wax pass as it's a great deal. It comes up a couple times during the year esp right now. The only thing I've had a problem with is the computer system keeping track of my points that I earn for each wax. There was once where they told me I had less then I really did. I never use the points for visits as I save them up. I just used them towards my wax pass. So the manager gave me some points so keep track of them guys! The other BIG ISSUE I have is sometimes when I go in for my scheduled brazilian wax & Delilah doesn't have time to do any add ons because she's always booked they won't let you book an appointment with a diff wax professional that same day. I've come out to the desk when I was done to see if I could get my eyebrows waxed with someone else & their policy is that you can't book with a diff person after seeing one. Which is totally stupid. Why would you push away business??? This needs to be re-evaluated & allowed...... I always recommended Delilah to friend's who are interested in getting waxed. One of my friend's has been seeing her for a few years now. Another friend I sent & she had a bad experience as the waxing was just too painful for her. Yesterday I was a Brow & Braz model for trainee Aarastin. She was very sweet & welcoming Brow review, I asked for a clean up during my consult & that Is exactly what I got! She brought my brow shape back without removing hairs I typically like to keep due to having spares brows. Totally I love the out come of my brows! Braz review, dealing with PCOS, my menstrual cycle comes very irregularly, I did begin to spot an hour or two before our appointment. Having gone into the appt straight after work, I advised and asked if she was comfortable with cont. the service and she agreed. I love that she didn't make me feel it was an inconvenience or disgusting. Since I was a bit uncomfortable myself, apologizing for not having been freshly showered prior to the appt. Her & Fran being so kind, consoled & reassured me that it was okay, I was okay. Trainer Fran was mentoring & guiding with such grace and patience. Suggestions made were soft and light hearted. Vs trainers I've experienced being a bit more harsh & not so gracious on trainees (At another business) Having such an intimate area waxed brings me much anxiety, But these two made my experience VERY comfortable! 100% recommend either Wax specialist Thank you EWC read more

I pass by this place pretty frequently but was always too scared and self conscious to go in and try a Brazilian wax. As I was going to dinner at a wonderful sushi place nearby I felt brave and went in to ask some questions, this amazing woman Ariana was at the desk, I asked her several questions and told her how afraid I was but she was so helpful and knowledgeable that I decided to go for it!! I booked my appointment for the next day, & that was my last night role playing as Chewbacca! I went in for my appointment & thankfully Ariana was there and was still making me feel comfortable, and encouraging me, she booked me with Claire, and to say I am impressed is an understatement!! If you are on the fence or scared like I was, I HIGHLY recommend you go here, the only thing you're going to regret is not doing it sooner!!! Claire was amazing, she talked me through the process from start to finish, there was really no pain and no shame! I 10/10 recommend!!! Claire recommended some after care products and gave me full instructions on how to maintain my new beautiful , hair free self. I made my appt for 4weeks later-because I absolutely will be back!! All of the technicians are amazing!! I've never had a bad experience with my eyebrow waxes here. The front desk can definitely work on being less pushy. I was asked if I wanted a wax pass and I replied no. I then received a whole spiel about their 6 pack and why I need to buy it. When I refused again, I got another speech on the 3 pack. I'm not sure if they get commission on the packages and that's why they are so overbearing, but asking once is enough. read more

I have no idea why I waited so long to try EWC, I absolutely love this place. I've seen multiple wax artists and they're all amazing. My Brazilians are always making good time, but I never feel rushed. They always take the time to make sure all the little hairs are gone and get any leftover wax. They always put on serum afterwards too. The make ripping my hair out of my skin as comfortable as possible. Also, the front desk gals are always so friendly and professional! Called in and spoke to a friendly receptionist who was then able to set up an appointment for me at my requested time. Kristen was my wax specialist. She was friendly and professional. Only hard wax is used for Brazilian wax. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. And for all you first time customers, be sure to take advantage of their deals. Brazilian wax is 50% off, while other select services are free. Definitely will be back whenever I'm in town and in need of some self care! They are so busy right now with the warm weather so it's not likely you will get a same day appointment. Staff is wearing masks and gloves so be respectful and wear a mask! COVID CHECKIN process was smooth. Here it is for your convenience: 1) Scan QR code on the door 2)Add your name to the message that pops up with the QR code, send. 3) Office staff will call you in to do a temperature check. They are checking for anything above and they can only have one person in the lobby at a time so be patient! 4) Wait in your car until you are called back to your room. 5) Checkout! Oh my, I must've not been all together when I read the raving reviews about this place. My wax experience was horribly painful. I have been going to the European Wax Center for about 5-6 years now. I frequent many locations throughout the US when I need a service. The waxer was kind and was trying to walk me through every single step, but Jesus Christ, her technique was so awful! She had no sense of direction on how to place the wax or remove the wax strips. I have a fairly high threshold for pain but this poor girl traumatized me. As kind and helpful as the staff was, I think they need to retrain their waxers! read more

Yeah, I go there every month to wax my mustache, inner nose, eyebrow and beard and I only trust Trinity to do this. She is very professional and takes care of me. She fixes me up better than I could fix myself up. If you go there make sure you ask for Trinity. She will hook you up. read more

I have been here 2 times since I signed up for their 12 month wax pass in March and have struggled to keep an appointment because each waxer that I get scheduled with calls out. I have had to reschedule trip plans and take time off work that is now causing me to lose more money because of their lack of availability in the Henderson location. When I called to express my concerns all I got was excuses and no resolution just another rescheduled appointment that I hope does not get cancelled for the fourth time. read more

I give one star because it was insanely easy to schedule online, and the place is clean, but that's where the positives end. Basically, if you want to feel like cattle, come here! They do offer 50% off your first service, which is nice, but I sat there for 20 minutes prior to my appointment and watched and listened to the front desk staff (I believe one was actually the business owner?) speak in rapid, robotic fashion, mostly avoiding eye contact in person, while trying to upsell waxing packages. Absolutely no authenticity or friendliness when confirming appointments. It is very clearly a fast-paced situation in which they are trying to get people in and out, and for the highest dollar possible. When it came time for me to go back for my appointment, the girl never introduced herself. She basically said, 'get undressed and put your stuff there,' as she pointed to a stool. I was shocked that she stayed in the room for both the beginning and the end of our appointment, there was zero privacy. No checking down there or using any oil to get the wax off, no time to pull yourself back together. It was horrible. It's hard wax, and just as painful as you might imagine. I don't know what this proprietary 'we make waxing less painful' shtick is? It is just as painful as any other hard wax place. I'm also not sure she got all of the hair 'down there,' if you know what I mean. They tried hard to book me for a month out, and sell me a package, but I declined both. I didn't check her work before I left and that's completely my bad! But when I got home I looked and saw that the strip was off center completely! I've been going to this EWC for a little over a year now and I'm always impressed by their customer service! The ladies at the front desk are always so friendly and the wax specialists make you feel at ease. Since covid, they've definitely upped their sanitary measures! As soon as you arrive, you scan a QR code on the door to check in. You can then wait outside or in your car until they are ready for you and call you in! Once inside, they check your temperature and you're ready to go! Even at checkout they're constantly sanitizing the pens and card readers! It's very easy to make an appointment with them as well! I often times call in the same day because of my unpredictable work schedule and I never have a problem getting scheduled in. Their products are also really good if you're prone to ingrown hairs like I am. I regularly get their exfoliating gel and it makes a world of a difference! read more

Left the salon due to the wait. It is rather rude to ask me to be on time & not advise if the waxer is running behind. EWC also dodged my calls as I had paid for a wax pass right before Covid and refused to give me a refund. After this terrible experience I requested a refund again & they advise there are no refunds after 30 days. Terrible customer service, even in uncertain times. read more

When you find someone that pays attention to detail as well as good "bedside manner", you don't stop coming to them! The location has taken many precautionary steps during COVID-19. What: eyebrow wax. I was underwhelmed by this place. They just waxed and trimmed my eyebrow which was important, but MOST importantly, I needed my eyebrows shaped, which involves more skill. Since moving here over a year ago, I have really let my eyebrow go and was in desperate need of shaping. This is very much a wham-bam-thank-you-mam quick and dirty type of place. Wax on. Wax off. Ambiance: I really appreciated how clean and nicely designed the business was. It was freezing cold in there and I had to run back to my car to get my jacket. Service: my appointment was met on time by Lauren. Location: In same plaza as Jamba Juice and Chipotle, so easy parking. Got a Brazilian wax for the first time and had a wonderful experience! I was late and had to schedule as if I was a walk in but it was 20 minutes later. Since mine was rescheduled, my friend couldn't watch my daughter so the front staff offered to keep an eye on her! Such kind ladies at the front! So...I haven't had a wax since I was pregnant because the pain was just unbearable. Now that my son is 8 months old, I have no excuse but pure laziness and fear. I had Lauren as my waxer and she was awesome. It wasn't awkward at all and we talked the entire time, which made the process go by faster. We even had a good laugh at my cries of pain. She tried her best to make it as painless as possible, but that ish still hurt. I'll unfortunately be back in a month to torture myself for smoothness and I'll definitely request Lauren again. They offer packages that save you money in the long run and they sell products that help your skin after the wax. read more

I was highly disappointed. This is my second time coming. Originally, had an appt with my personal waxer and it was too late of an appointment. So I decided to call European Wax Center and got an appointment right away. I was on time and she called me back. The most uncomfortable thing was she stayed the whole time while undressing and dressing. I felt like that wasn't necessary. I do prefer Birthday Suit because they do have the common courtesy to step out for a few mins. Don't recommend this place. I still had hair when waxing you want the whole area waxed.
