That place not only physically got you got the also got you mentally set up also, I expected the same. Well after a few sessions here I felt much better, I'm not out of the woods but headed in that direction. From the treatments I was able to walk 80 miles in one month, not all the same time. And MTB 22 miles that two rides in a month. Which meant the treatment is helping. So here's a case of don't judge a book by its cover. They are very nice and have great mind sets to help. They sent my documents back to the VA requesting more treatments. This weekend I was able to ride my MTB to the lower lake and back and earn my Local Legend status back, I most likely will lose it because I'm not able to ride like before.

The guy massaged my body over sheet first then eventually had hands on. He did my neck all the way down to my legs. I don't think he managed my head, temples, or feet. When I flipped over, I'm used to a towel being placed over my eyes. This place is only open during the day time and they didn't have black out curtains, so it was a little brighter than usual in the room. Calming music playing but it was very low. The acupuncture- I wasn't quite sure what I could inquire about. Was hoping for a list but he just asked what my main concerns were and then told me to lay down on the table. Luckily I wore a dress and sandals. So I didn't have to remove anything except the sandals as the places he placed the needles were already exposed. I was too scared to look at the needles. Kept my eyes closed the entire time. Just felt a slight pinch when he placed the needles. They felt very small/thin. The only place I really felt any discomfort pain was my left foot/shin. I told him that at the end and he said I may feel sore for a day but the pain disappeared within hours. I felt so calm relaxed with the acupuncture. Definitely want to come back for that. Maybe not the massage tho.

You get asked a few questions about your energy and what you want to focus on and then for acupuncture, they'll check your energy levels. After inserting the needles in, they leave you to it. No music or meditation or chants. Just you, and the car horns outside. I think that's where I'm a little disappointed. Other places I've been either give you one of the two and check in on you. I was just sorta left for I'm assuming was 30 minutes? There's no clocks so I lost track of time. Next few times I came, I was prepared to do some meditation on my own and really focus on my thoughts, breathing and healing. I have pretty decent insurance and so it only came out to about 20 bucks per session and at that price, it goes from a 3 star review to a 4 star. But without that, I could easily rate this a 3 star place. I'll be coming back for sure though. Every where else seems to have a wait list or they aren't as nice. Everyone is super nice.
