I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Amaya and her work. I used to think acupuncture wouldn't work on me, or that it would hurt. It does not hurt and it ABSOLUTELY worked on me. I look forward to every visit with Dr. Amaya. I leave feeling so relaxed and in the best mood. Dr. Amaya is kind and gentle. She not only takes her work seriously but always make sure to take care of her patients too. she genuinely cares and wants to help your needs. I'd like to say that Carol Tran has easily become one of my fav Acupuncturist. Her knowledge of her trade is great & she has good hands with the needles. Some Acupuncturist can be a bit rough but she is good & gentle. She makes you feel at ease & really cares about you getting better & always patiently talks to you about your situation & what you want work on before you start. I've gone to her a few times & I will continue to go to her, she has a permanent client in me. My headaches & knee pains have decreased since I started seeing her. In the past with other Acupuncturist I would dread going in because I'm not a fan of needles but with her I look toward to it with no fear because she's that good. I recommend her to anyone who needs a great Acupuncturist. I found her through one of my insurances Optum Health, she takes other insurances. I only pay $10 copay, but if you can't get Insured it's ok her prices are affordable. Her rooms are very comfortable & the whole place has a great vibe to it. Both cosmetic and medical services have been a tremendous help for my own pain management over the past four years. She was not pleasant with me at all. She seemed annoyed and stand offish. I'm happy for the ppl that find her helpful, but I encountered the opposite as far as her attitude. Carol is very pleasant, friendly and just an all around nice person. She listens to your needs and does not rush you. She is very good at what she does and will provide a treatment plan customized to your needs. The room is a community room setup but has a private feel with all the privacy curtains. I was on the fence about acupuncture for a while, but after my chiropractor could only get me to plateau with my pain, I decided to try acupuncture and I stumbled across Carol Tran and I'm glad I did. She's soft spoken and friendly and engaging with your needs for relief in mind and she will set a game plan for you to find some relief. My sciatic nerve pain was ridiculous, but literally after just one visit it was all but gone. This is my 4th week and every week my overall back pain is less and less. I decided to try this alternative method as I developed chronic neck pain from ongoing anxiety. Before visiting Carol, I was taking about six Advil per day for relief. But after two months of weekly sessions I feel more relaxed and downgraded to Tylenol for occasional pain. She is really well trained in this field so I would highly recommend her clinic. Carol is an angel sent from above!! I had bad neck and back pain due to a sports injury and after just one session with her I started feeling the difference right away.
