I've been wanting to try acupuncture and this place is close to home and accepts our insurance. I also did the massage. 4 stars because the massage was just ok. The guy massaged my body over sheet first then eventually had hands on. He did my neck all the way down to my legs. I don't think he managed my head, temples, or feet. When I flipped over, I'm used to a towel being placed over my eyes. This place is only open during the day time and they didn't have black out curtains, so it was a little brighter than usual in the room. Calming music playing but it was very low. The acupuncture- I wasn't quite sure what I could inquire about. Was hoping for a list but he just asked what my main concerns were and then told me to lay down on the table. Luckily I wore a dress and sandals. So I didn't have to remove anything except the sandals as the places he placed the needles were already exposed. I was too scared to look at the needles. Kept my eyes closed the entire time. Just felt a slight pinch when he placed the needles. They felt very small/thin. The only place I really felt any discomfort pain was my left foot/shin. I told him that at the end and he said I may feel sore for a day but the pain disappeared within hours. I felt so calm relaxed with the acupuncture. Definitely want to come back for that. Maybe not the massage tho. read more

I have insurance which I stated on the intake form. He wanted to charge $81. I asked if that's with my insurance and he asked what insurance I had? What's the point of the intake form if you're not going to read it? And instead of calling my insurance to make sure what is covered, he said he will charge me $41 and it could be less if he "had time to call." I came in at 11:15a. They close at 1p. Everyone is nice including the young lady at the front. The deep tissue massage was a bit painful but worth it with the he oil massage. Afterwards, i got the acupuncture and i didn't feel any pain of the needles goin in and lastly got the cupping which was a bit painful as well but afterwards i felt like sleeping and relaxed. On my first treatment I got fire cupping and acupuncture with the owner. I had this done else where and for this being my first time at this location he wasn't informative at all. But the overall treatment was good. The second time I went ( a week later) with my husband. This time with a female. Same treatment acupuncture and cupping. But this time around it was suction cupping and not fire cupping (big difference). The pressure wasn't strong enough. By the time she walked out the room 3-4 cups had already fallen off. At the end of treatment I had little to no markings. As far as my husbands, he was not impressed at all. He said the pressure was not as strong and for that being his first time getting this done she maybe should've explained what he should be expecting. I complained to the front that we were under the impression that we would be getting fire cupping and the receptionist was shocked that it wasn't. I then asked if we can at least get another treatment with fire cupping since the one we got that day was not successful. I was told I would get a call from the owner. Which I did not. So I had to call them back to to follow up. Pretty much all I got was 10% off my next service. Why the hell would I even go back when they couldn't help fix the service I was complaining about. So NO I do not recommend this place. Even though it looked so run down and felt like a hospice facility I gave it a chance since they took my insurance for acupuncture. Very nice experience today at the Park Healing Center. This was my first visit and it will not be my last. Using Groupon, I purchased the therapeutic massage with cupping for a very reasonable price. At arrival, I was greeted by a nice young man we asked me to complete a few forms. After that, I was escorted to the first of two treatment rooms for the massage. The massage was you typical relaxation session. I was what I would call a "trigger point" massage. If you are a fan of deep tissue massage then this is the place for you and yes, the massage was a full 60 minutes. After that, i was escorted to the second room for the cupping session. After a few brief questions, the technician got to work. He allowed the cups to remain on my back and hip for approximately 10 mins before removing them. Yes, i have the typical octopus bruising but nothing too crazy. Please note, Park Healing Center is not a day spa, it is a "medical" office. You come here for treatment of your injuries, not to sip champaign. Overall, I am very pleased with my session and will be recommending Park Healing Center to friends and family. Joe was great and pin pointing the areas I needed focus on. I had a great experience first had acupuncture, which I've had multiple times before at other locations and never have I felt so much tension released from just acupuncture. He placed a few in my ear and what a difference. Than I had a few add on's Gua Sha, cupping, heat therapy, spinal decompression and inter segmental traction. Everything helped me immensely, so happy that I found this place and another thing is I called left a message they called me back within 20 minutes from my voicemail and was able to schedule to come in right at that moment. I had extreme bad pain in my and shoulder that needed an emergency visit. Thankfully they are open on Saturday mornings so I booked the first available with Joe. It was my first time getting acupuncture and cupping. I was nervous but after explaining in details my issue, Joe explained the different combinations I could opt to get and helped me determine to start with acupuncture/cupping. The needles were painless and the cups sure did suction. After my service my neck definitely had more range of motion! I made a 2nd appointment as you need several visits for this type of stuff. This is the place I go for acupuncture. I was experiencing pain and stiffness in my right knee during my walks and sometimes at night. After only a few sessions of acupuncture, my pain is gone! I have been going to this place for almost 1 & 1/2 years now, and continue to do so, for my sciatica. Joe has been truly professional, knowledgeable, kind and efficient, every single time. I've had acupuncture every week ,then every 2 weeks up to the present. In the past, I had cupping , spinal decompression and light therapy sessions. And, a deep tissue massage, once. I have been suffering form sciatic pains for over a year now and I've been going to Park Healing Center for many months now and i always received great service from Joe. Very efficient, knowledgeable and professional! I had acupuncture weekly for the first few months and and then every 2 weeks. Cupping was also added for some sessions and had a massage once ( by his father). Yesterday, I had spinal decompression and traction, with the help of Nick, who was also good. I liked the treatment and seems to be helping better in relieving my sciatica. I know that i will be asking for it again. Judy, the receptionist, is very nice, cheerful, friendly and helpful always. This place is beyond amazing. As you first walk through the doors you are hit with the most relaxing oil aroma. Ayleen welcomes you in with a bright smile. As she takes you back, you walk through more oil defusers and relaxing music. I received the 1 hour message from the amazing Mr. Pirk. There is a reason this is my third visit. His fingers know where to really go in at to relieve the pain. I've been to alot of places to help with my neck and Sciatic pain but never got the release like when I see Mr. PIRK. THANK YOU. After I was done with the most amazing massage, I was greeted by Michelle. She is so kind and makes sure you are as comfortable as possible. Unsafe conditions. If you are thinking of going here to get chiropractic work DONT. This use to be my go to place and I would always refer this place to others. However I went today and felt very unsafe. Although they require customers to wear a mask the the women who does chiropractic work does not. You would think that since were in the purple tier and being in the middle of a PANDEMIC everyone would wear to keep each other safe. When I asked the front desk why she does not wear one they replied with she just hard survey and can't wear one. Needles to say I left and won't be coming back. If she cannot follow the rules then she should not be working on patients and putting them at risk. I will make sure to tell all the people to avoid this place and go somewhere safer. read more

This was such an awful and weird experience. The receptionist walked me into the room and instructed me to undress and go under the sheet face down. Shortly after, the massage therapist walked in and without saying single word, he began rubbing over the sheet. Often leaning his whole body and weigh against my body. He had a hanging nail that was very uncomfortable. He kept making awful noises to clear his throat, sneezing and coughing. This made me very uncomfortable especially because I couldn't see if he was wearing a mask, which after 20 minutes of him just rubbing I told him to STOP - I noticed he had no mask, and his appearance was unkept. I quickly got dressed and headed out of that ugly room which was not inviting at all-broken blinds and plain. As I walked past the reception area, I noticed there was disgusting gray stuff growing on the carpet, mold looking or something of that sort. The facility was old, and cluttered. After 20 min. out of what was supposed to be 60 min. massage, I addressed my concerns to the receptionist. The owner happened to be standing right there. He offered no apology or to make things right. He said that there are many different modalities and offered nothing else as he walked away. I was so disappointed and disgusted that I just left without asking for a different therapist or resolution. Needless say, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all. A few weeks ago, I purchased a Groupon for cupping and a massage. I soon made an appointment but unfortunately, it was canceled for two weeks straight due to the massage therapist who was out sick. This is my second review after my second session of nanoneedling. I arrived 20 minutes late because of unexpected detour but Judy said okay and was so sweet.
