We had Boemio cater our outdoor tree trimming party on Saturday for 50 people. It is the first time we used their service. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. A few days ago, spent time with Karen to decide what we wanted and needed. Placed our order and just had an immediate good feeling. When Saturday arrived everything went extremely well. The food was outstanding. The server was a total gem. Arrived on time. Went out of his way to do so many of the little things, many would have ignored. The food here is good but I came one time at 435 when they are suppose to close at 5pm and the woman behind the deli counter saw me pull on the door and didn't even acknowledge me. I was only there for something quick to patronage them as a local spot. Such a shame they have that attitude which is why they aren't doing as well as they should. Awful...I went in to get Pizza Rustica. What they sold me, at an exhorbitive price, was corn bread surrounding a small amount of meat and cheese. It's disgusting and cost me over $20 for half a pie. I will never go there again. If you want to pretend you are an Italian food store, you need to know how to make Italian food! This thing was loaded with sugar and cornbread. I have been coming here for years, and they just reconfirmed my love by offering an invaluable service to the community during Covid. They are even offering some staple goods. During a time like this, frustrations are high but we all need to have patience and understand that there will be delays. We should show our appreciation by tipping too. They were already out of bread by 1:30pm and to top it off we got 4 large cannolis that were barely filled! Stopped here on my way home (recently moved) to pick up some Italian bread and garlic. WOW, I was so impressed! This is a real "boutique" looking market...lots of my favorite Italian wines don the shelves, making this my new go-to place when I need a nice bottle and can't go to far from home. There are so many cases of cheese, I had to walk around the place three times just to peruse them all. I was even able to get some fresh mozzarella from the grocer behind the counter, who pulled a huge ball of it right out of the water for me. There are shelves upon shelves of gourmet spreads, seasonings and pastas. I found an AMAZING garlic bread spread that I will probably have to buy stock in after yesterday. When I returned home to make my garlic bread (which I used some of my new, fresh cheese on as well!) my family was thrilled. Dinner was SO good, and I am so excited to return here again and again for more fabulous goods. Please keep in mind, this seems like a gourmet market, so pricing reflects this. Also, there is a huge fresh meat case-but I did not get to try any of it on this particular trip. Look for an updated review when I do! read more

Went there and got some burger meat and other things for the weekend. While checking out I noticed a razor blade left open on a very low shelf. I gave it to the girl and said I didnt want a kid to get hurt. She didnt even thank me she just took it and continued ringing up my items. The burger meat was brown and smelled rotten. I called up to tell them and they gave me some lies and said it was fine. So I drove back there to return it in person. They were rude and gave me an attitude. I just love this market! Their food is so fresh. They have everything from Boars Head lunch meat to wine selections. Their vodka sauce is delicious as their fresh tomato sauce. They make their own cheese. They carry fresh bread and some produce and dairy. They are also a butcher. The staff is polite and helpful. On top of all this they deliver!! Well done for everything!! We shop their regularly...best Marinara Sauce; Fresh Grated Cheese; Eggplant Rollatini; Chicken Francaise is amazing accompanied with container of their Chicken Lemon Sauce; Stuffed Cabbage, etc. Prices are great (no need to shop and cook) and the quality is outstanding! This place is out of this world. We stopped off for sandwiches for five people and everyone RAVED about what they ordered. It's beautiful inside and they have a large selection of specialty items. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality. If you are headed to the shore or stuck doing the Rt 70 drive, I highly recommend checking them out. Just moved to the area and was happily surprised to find this little gem of a market in the area. Pricey but good products are expensive.

this place used to be okay for sandwiches and we went there several times for them. went in yesterday for the same sandwich and woman behind counter said they couldn't make it. I wanted it on good Italian bread like I've had 10 times before. she showed me the bread that they have to use for sandwiches and said that's the way they were trained. she went to get the boss or manager who asked me what I paid for sandwich before, I told him and he went into a story about old people who complain about prices. he made the sandwich, I asked for additional meat, he said he was taking care of me. he charged me exactly what I said I had paid before. I don't know if there are new owners, but the sandwich didn't compare to previous ones. I asked for two salads behind the counter and was told they are prepackaged in the cooler. this is not the same quality as before. bad attitudes present now, cheap sandwiches on regular sub bread and blah salads. will not go back. read more

sorry to say.... I'm very disappointed in the market. I purchased 3 pies on Tuesday. When we went to serve them on Wednesday...they were not completely baked! I live 2 hours from them; and stop every time I make a trip to Deborah Hospital. There are many trips during the year. This is the first time; I've had an issue. When I called to tell them what happened; I was treated as if I were trying to steal 3 pies! The manager did not even have the courtesy to speak to me. I am very sad and disappointed on the way I was treated. read more
