Their Oysters ROCK! It's better when I call before I go to pick up. I like raw Oysters and I want YOU to like them too.

Never got a bad clam or oyster yet. I'm local and shop there at least bi-weekly. Friendly crew. I miss Dale Sr.

My favorite weekend ritual is to see what Parson's fresh catch is and plan the family meals around it!

*Sigh* The place looked interesting. The main dining area…read morewas on the second floor, while they had a couple of tables dockside for people who would rather eat with a direct ocean view. The dining area was ok, but had a good view, depending where you are seated. The staff was friendly. However, the gap between the appetizers and the main courses were too long. It was my brother's birthday and he ordered a prefix menu for everyone. For appetizers, We had raw oysters-on-a-half shell, calamari and baked mussels. They were good. Unfortunately, one of our tables didn't receive any oysters. The staff said they ran out. The choices for the main course were butterflied shrimp (4 pieces), Chicken Francese or a grilled pork chop. I picked the pork chop, while my wife picked the chicken. My other brother picked the shrimp. The food was ok. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. For the price my brother paid, you'd expect more. If you picked the shrimp and you were hungry, you'd be unsatisfied. They weren't filling. I don't know if I'd recommend this place or not. The place was busy, though. I guess they have a following.

For starters, it was a little confusing to get inside as a first time visit. Also, there are lots…read moreof steps, but there's also an elevator that you can use.. we got the specialty appetizer which was a goat, cheese, candied, walnut strawberry salad-- that was good. I got salmon, oreganata style, the meal was absolutely delicious. However, the entrées came out pretty quick. The crab looks were also cooked very well. Bread and olive oil are served immediately after seating. The views outside of the window from the restaurant were very nice. And there's a dock that you can drive your boat up to and park outside the restaurant. Our server was great. She had good knowledge of all of the specials and the menu itself. Would definitely recommend going here as the service is great and the food was good.

Came here to get some fried seafood while on a staycation to AC…read more Barbera Seafood Market has been around for close to 100 years. We have been to it plenty of times in our over 30 years of visiting AC and we have never been disappointed. The ambiance is cosy with nautical themed items decorating the walls. They have limited seating in the small establishment, with the best option being sitting at the counter at the window to people watch while enjoying your seafood items. We are always greeted by pleasant staff. They have daily specials and feature a seafood case filled with a variety of fresh seafood items that you can literally pick and they will prepare in store or you can choose to purchase to go. Our go to is the flounder and fish platter, which comes with house made slaw and fries, and either a side of fried clams or oysters. The platter also comes with a canned soda, which you get to pick the flavor choice from the beverage case. We always enjoy our food in store and are always luck enough to grab a few seats. The flounder and shrimp platter was fresh and crispy, with a light coating that did not take away from the delicate taste of the fish and shrimp. The slaw was fresh and an ok side. The fries were crispy and nothing was greasy. The oysters were fried well and when bitten, popped with a nice, fresh taste. And don't worry my MD folks, they have Old Bay to dust your food (which I really appreciate!). We suggest coming as soon as they open or call your order in ahead of time to avoid the long line that forms. All in all, our go to seafood spot when visiting AC.

I want to make this update to give one of the owners, Erin, a shout out. She reached out to me…read moreafter reading my review and I can tell she took it seriously. We had an honest conversation and she assured me that they will be addressing the behavior and working towards preventing these kinds of issues in the future. She did not ask me to take down my previous review or make this update. All she did was take accountability for her staff, tried to get to the bottom of it, and looked to remedy the situation. This is truly an example how a business owner should behave and so kudos to you! I can tell from our interaction that she takes pride in her business and wants everyone to enjoy their time there. Although I still stand by my last review, I also want to edit my statement that I would never go back. I would give them a second try if I'm ever back in the area just based on how this situation was handled by management. Hoping that changes can be made positively in regard to service so it could match up with food/drinks and overall ambiance.

The avacado was very brown once I got to it and that turned me off. The eggs were just okay. I will say the potato chunks on the bottom were nice and crispy and probably my favorite part of the dish. Not sure we'd stop again on our way through, but maybe for coffee.
