They had no children, and made their arrangements with Gilmartin Funeral Home in the early 1990's. When my Uncle passed away in 2010, everything was already in order, and Gilmartins made things easy, refunding unused money after the funeral was done. My Aunt passed away in early 2018. Again, everything was taken care of. The owner's son, Tim, had taken over the place by then. I asked for a nice flower arrangement for my Aunt, but there was not enough money left. So Gilmartin picked up the tab. Wonderful people. They treated us like family members. It is a year later, and I am writing this now because I just received a letter from Gilmartin Funeral home. It was a letter saying they were thinking about us, a poem about our lost loved one, and a beautiful knitted snowflake ornament. Incredible. They are the best.
