I think I have been a client for at least three years and have had at least five different therapists, each one is very professional and kind. We were able to get in last minute (called at 3:38pm for a 4:45pm appointment). We've never had a Thai massage before so we didn't know what to expect. This was hands down, one of the best massages we've ever gotten. It was the right pressure, not too light, not too hard. WARNING! Do not go here!!!!! The temporary location is super dirty. My 90 minute deep tissue massage was a complete waste of time and money. There was nothing deep about it and it couldn't even pass as relaxing. Now on to the really reason for my 1 star rating. THEY STOLE FROM ME. after my terrible massage (that I still tipped 20% for) I went to the restroom inside their suite. One of their employees used the restroom right after me. I forgot my sunglasses on the counter. I came back 90 seconds later and they were gone. The woman haphazardly looked for them and told me to leave my name and number. She suggested that I had left them in my car. I left. Checked my car. No sun glasses. Went back inside and they said they still hadn't found them. 15 minutes later I went back for a third time (they are expensive sunglasses). I stayed calm but insisted that my glasses were still here. Lo and behold the manager found my sun glasses inside the locked cabinet right under the sink. That employee saw them. Wanted them. Hid them and didn't count on me being so persistent. I wouldn't write a bad review just for a bad massage...but STEAL FROM ME and I will write a review anywhere and everywhere. We came here on a whim for a couples massage. Firstly, this place is in a busy strip mall and on the second floor so have fun finding parking with a lot elderly people coming in for services. Secondly, they are rushed and 60 min means whatever it takes to get you done on the hour. He had the lomi lomi massage and I had the "authentic" thai massage. We both left feeling unsatisfied. My therapist was tired and kept yawning, which is totally fine because we are all human; however, she was bored and would just stop and stand there for a while. My husband's therapist was at least polite and asked him what he was looking for. Sadly, he was unsatisfied with her massage and said there was no pressure or work on any of his tense areas. The parlor is located on the 2nd floor in a business strip that also houses nail salons, esthetic/lash studios, hair salons, and a jewelry store. Plenty of parking in front, sides, and back of the building. Location is great at the intersection or Royal Ln/Preston Rd. The staff is very friendly. My masseuse, Ana, was so skilled with great technique. She was very attentive to my needs. I was experiencing tightened muscles in my lower back and hips. She worked wonders with her hands. This was my first time at this place, and was very impressed. They respect your privacy and needs very well. I felt so much better by the time my 30 min session was done. I had signed up for a sports massage. What I received was a very light massage with a lot of time dedicated to rubbing in different lotions. I was never asked about problem areas/what needed attention/any previous injuries. Must have been a miscommunication because I left with the same achey knotted muscles I arrived with. I kept thinking that my therapist was working towards really working out some areas but it never happened. She seemed concerned that she was massaging too hard early in the session but I told her I would let her know if that happened. Called Hawaii Thai Massage at 5pm, was able to get in for a Sports Massage at 7 and seriously the best massage I've had in Dallas. She said "I made a mistake, this room was for someone else". No one would direct me to the manager or provide a name, instead I was given the number to the spa which I can find myself . They requested I leave a comment online instead. Here is the comment. I will never return. This is unacceptable. Below the spa owner said I the offered me 50% off. This is after I got very upset and left in tears. I was not satisfied with the response I initial got "we can say sorry and tell you to calm down". Please don't make it seem like you did me a favor. My girlfriend said it was the worst she's had and made her sore for a week. She usually loves deep deep pressure, so something was wrong. Paid for 1 hour, our massage was less than 50 minutes. Also went from touching our feet directly to touching our face, which is not the way to go.
