The vet came in and berated my boyfriend saying "you better not fight this dog." My boyfriend is biracial and I find it hard to believe that she would have said this to a white person. The dog is an American bully and he is loved and cared for. This was extremely disrespectful and ignorant. $60 just to come in and be talked down to like this. This was blatant racist and discriminatory behavior on their behalf and no one should stand behind or support a business that upholds these stereotypes. There are too many good vets in the Charleston area to deal with these people.

She placed a rose quartz heart beneath Ashlyn and then gave it to me to take home. It has a small crack in it that beautifully reflects the crack in my own heart, and it now sits beside her photo. Today, we have our 2 year old English Cream, Lenox, and a recent rescue, Emmie, who we found abandoned on a dirt road. Dr. Oldham has been wonderful with both of them. I appreciate that she offers both holistic and conventional care options and takes the time to explain what is best for each pet. However, I was also looking for a empathetic stress free environment for both my stray cat and myself, as I had never owned a cat before. From the initial form, allowing me to outline our story in advance, our appointment felt so individualized. Sarah R. , our fantastic Vet Tech, had read our case and was called in specially to see Princess because of her experience with strays. She was calm and effective, and I was shocked to see her petting Princess less than 30 seconds after opening her carrier (I had not yet attempted this). She was personable, telling us about her own fur babies, but I also felt she was very thorough in collecting history and let me ask lots of questions. In addition to Sarah's excellence, Dr. Morgan Mcpheeter was calm, efficient, and knowledgeable. I am not a "review" person but for the person out there wondering if they should invest in a Vet Relationship instead of a neuter/spay service, I think Charleston Harbor is everything they've advertised and more (rare in Chs).

I booked 21 days boarding for my dog…read more90 days in advance The day before my trip, my reservation was cancelled, my dog is too old to ill to be boarded there. My dog has been there before, but they did not have time to informed when I did the reservation. The receptionist suggested one boriding place, but they did not take the dog. I had to cancel my trip, lost my plane ticket and my vacation time. The kennel manager has not offered me an apology, and she is never available in person or on the phone. Very unprofessional and cowardly.
