I believe their pricing is fair, and probably more than fair, given the expertise they have. To give you a sense of their integrity, I'll share one story. I had left my car there to have maintenance done, and when they finished it was parked in the side lot as is the norm. In the few hours between the completion of the work and my arrival to pick it up, someone had swung open their rear door into my car's front fender so hard that it left two sizable dents that couldn't be repaired without going to a body shop. I didn't notice the body damage until I got home, and I quickly called Tony to let him know what I found. He was aware of how well I tend to my vehicles, was horrified, apologized profusely and without any hesitation offered to pay to fix the damage done in his parking lot. Now any time my car comes in for service, he makes sure to tell me that he will keep it parked in the garage until I pick it up. Tell me, where else are you going to find another garage with integrity like that? I won't bother to look since Masello's is the one of the few shops I go to for maintenance and repairs.

I had repairs done a year ago when someone hit me, and he was thorough and did excellent work. This year, during a snowstorm, when a tree hit me (pesky trees jumping out and hitting our cars is a big problem in Central New York), I once again took it back knowing I'd have tremendous work done. I was not disappointed. Even a minor dent I put in the truck loading a hay bale was fixed (without me asking, or being charged) so that the truck looked like new. The cherry on top is the detailing they do to the inside of your vehicle - whether it was related to the damage done or not. It's like you're getting a brand new vehicle when you pull out of there. Mary Lou and the rest of the front counter staff are tremendously friendly, and keep you informed all along the way. Very nice guy took care of us quickly and showed us the comfortable waiting area and he explained where the bathrooms were should we need them. Not long thereafter he came over to the waiting area to let us know that we were all set. We checked out with the same nice person (I should have gotten his name) paid for the inspection, and we were on our way. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the clean, comfortable waiting area, the large show room, and we observed that all staff were friendly and they obviously like working at Tony Rotella's. One of the most important things in any business setting is a great culture and they obviously have one and it shows. One other thing I wanted to share that I witnessed while waiting. I overheard one of the staff members on the telephone with what must have been an insurance company. This staff member was in a deep "professional" debate with the insurance company trying to convince them to pay for more for a body shop repair, so the customer didn't have to come out of pocket as much. It was nice to see one of Tony Rotella's staff members fighting for their customer's best interest. He was also very nice in how he was presenting his case, yet firm as well and would not back down. If I'm ever in that scenario, I want a guy like that fighting for my best interest as well. If we ever need body work done (and I hope, we don't) there is no other place I'd bring our car than Tony Rotella's after what I witnessed this morning. We'll also come back in the summer for new brakes and new tires as we've heard from several friends that they are great with that type of service and the pricing is very good as well.

I ended up at B&T because my wife had recently brought her car to them for a repair because 5hey are a 2 minute walk from her job. She was happy with their work, so I felt comfortable enough bringing my car to them as well. I have had my car serviced by them several times and they always do a good job. Jeremy in the office is very friendly and will explain every thing that is going on with your vehicle to you. They're prices are reasonable. Still somewhat expensive, but what mechanic isn't? They are also usually able to get your car taken care or and ready for you pretty quickly, I've never had my car there longer than a day.
