However, HEB charged my debit card $41.02 for their driver's tip. I did not authorize this transaction with a driver tip. I just called to get this issue resolved and was hoping for a refund. The first person I talked to was very friendly and understanding of my concern. Although, he had to transfer me to a specific department. The woman I talked with talked in circles around me and told me that there was nothing she could do since the delivery fee and driver's tip are included automatically in the final cost. I've never heard of that before, I've always been given the option at checkout to opt out if a delivery tip, or customize your tip. I spent $427 on groceries and they just decided to charge me 10% of my order. This poorly handled situation has led to me having to stuck with Walmart for my families future grocery delivery needs.

As I noticed other people gathering around the hot food line, I couldn't help but decide on getting a plate. I picked up the ranchero bisteak and chicken Tinga and for my two sides, I decided on the plantains and nopales. Both of the meats I decided on were extremely delicious in flavor and the beef was exceptionally tender. I got red and green salsa and it appears that the red salsa is a tad bit creamy, which is not something I've had many times before. It was unique and extremely tasty. As for the green salsa, I have yet to try, but I am sure it won't disappoint. I do want to give this place praise because I have passed it up before, but it is not a place to be looked over. There's so many other goodies in here that you won't find at a regular grocery store so it's definitely worth coming inside and checking out especially if you just want something to do. The people were so nice exceptional customer service. There is seating if you want to eat inside and they were playing good music. I almost forgot to mention how exceptional the sides were. Often times people mess up nopales, but these were delicious.

They have a wonderful selection. And they are the only place I know that correctly calls "sausage kolaches" as their real name--Klobásník--or Klobásníky (plural.) but don't expect those to still be there. On a weekday, they might still have these Czech treats until 3 pm, but on the weekends, they go fast! Always friendly staff and i just love looking through their home decor. They have the cutest little tchotchkes that are locally crafted and so wonderful for home, garden, or lawn. I have bought many a christmas and birthday gift on the way. Great metal art as well! The bathrooms are always clean and smell fine. I highly recommend stopping at least one time to see everything they have to offer. It's a true, "small Texas town" stop! Oh, and set the GPS!
