My wife and I were on the way home from visiting our daughter in Stephenville. We have not been able to find Atkins meal bars anywhere, but HEB's website showed them in stock. So we made a slight detour to pick them up at this store. The last time I had gone to HEB in Marble Falls, the store was small, crowded and inadequate. Little did I realize that they had replaced it with this beautiful store. We found a parking spot near the Drug side entrance and walked in. This store is laid out just like the one we use at home. Because of that, it was very easy to find the section that should have had the product I was after. Unfortunately, the website was incorrect and the section was totally empty. So it was a waste of time. Will I return? Probably not as I don't live in Marble Falls. However, I will say that they have a beautiful store. read more

The one-star review I posted July 19 was an error. The terrible (Driscoll) strawberries were bought at Walmoart, Marble Falls, TX, NOT H-E-B. HEB's strawberries are also big and pulpy (a BAD thing for those who know and like strawberries), but not nearly as bad as the Walmart ones! I'll retain the HEB compliments here: Very clean; overall selection is excellent; most items are very good; staff is friendly & helpful; delivery shoppers do a fairly good job (but are mediocre at choosing fresh items), and the independent delivery drivers are super. read more

HEB - Grocery Near Me - Marble Falls, Texas

On my way to Blue Bonnet Cafe, I saw HEB and thought what is HEB? Inquiring minds want to know LOL, so I checked it out. WOW... it's a gigantic grocery store! As I was walking through it, I wondered if it was similar to Super Wal-Mart that sells clothes and other nonfood items, too. It's not exactly... it's more of a full blown grocery store. I went straight to the candy aisle because I wanted to buy a gift of chocolates for my team member and his family who live in Texas. I pondered on which brand of chocolates to buy. My favorite is Lindt milk chocolate (the one with red wrapper) so I got a bag of it. Also got one Ghirardelli chocolates variety bag. Then I saw Calbury chocolate full bars (3 flavors) and had to get them. Lastly, Hershey's Chocolate full bars (3 flavors) made the cut, too LOL. I went crazy with the chocolates and that's okay. I had alot of fun shopping for the chocolates! The store was very clean and organized. I didn't get a chance to venture to the other aisles or sections. They also have True Texas BBQ next to the grocery store... bummer, I didn't get a chance to check it out either. Maybe one day, HEB will come over to CA... it would be nice... competition for Wal-Mart and Target LOL. They have a pharmacy and gas station, too. What a well rounded store! Lucky for the Texans. For the non-Texans traveling near Marble Falls, TX, go check out HEB and try some True Texas BBQ! Make it a day out shopping and enjoying good eats at HEB! P.S. Disappointing reviews are very low for solely curbside service issues. Not the way you write reviews. For grocery stores, it's about selection, price, check out process, and cleanliness. The HEB MF location meets the standards for all four with the added benefit of being spacious except for the pharmacy area which is always tight in all HEBs. Selection is wide across all categories from meat, produce, bakery, and wine while I do think there's too much space for holiday items. The aisles are wide so it never seems crowded. The BBQ restaurant is always nice at least to smell on the way in. The pharmacy drive thru has no visible window to the teller which is very strange but works with the video monitors. The checkout process is the highlight here as H-E-B members work in concert to nicely check out with expediency and bags carefully. Meat selection is solid for most items. Produce acceptable but would like to see a wider range of dried peppers. Produce is fresh and priced ok given the past 4 years of inflation and waste spending. If you're looking for wood for BBQ, wide selection even post oak. Simple meal selection is off the chart great. Sushi consistent with others but there is room to improve such as more poke bowels and handrolls. Seafood standard offering while I don't notice a lot of sales I used to see. Likely due to the inflationary issues with labor. read more

This review is for the curbside: On 8/8/2024 I had placed a curbside order the night prior order to be picked up between 7:00-7:30pm I arrived there at 8:10pm because at 4pm I reviewed a text stating my order was running behind at 8:10 I received another text saying my order once again was delayed and I went up to the curbside order place and I was told that they were going to get to me in 15min again I went back up to the window at which time I was told that my order was being shopped for and long story I didn't get my order until 9:18pm without even an apology. And all I got was well we are short staffed. Meanwhile at least 16 cars came and went while I waited. read more

The worst shopping experience of my life! Employees walking around aimlessly on their phones (like combines) the "fish guy" rudely telling me that "hamburger sliders are seasonal and NOT in his area", and the bagger slinging my groceries like bags of cement. What the heck is happening at this HEB?! At check out I took a deep breath and asked myself "what's going on here?" Let's start with: 1. No adult supervision 2. Lack of employee interest. Most looked like they were walking to the gallows. 3. Lack of common Texas courtesy. Advice: 1. Fire the dead weight 2. Head over to Chick-fil-A for costumer service training. When I go into this store I always feel inspired - the produce / deli / meat market side of the store is absolutely beautiful, and has a huge amount of variety. I usually do curbside though, which is also fantastic and easy. The employees are friendly and great about staying safe (masks and distancing). I don't live particularly close to this HEB and will often make the drive just for the higher quality meat and produce. read more

We were staying at Marble Falls for a few days, and really appreciate having a grocery store a few minutes away to pick up snacks, drinks, and occasional salads and fruit. It was sometimes shocking how busy this HEB is, even near closing time. Parking is very tight during the day. However, we were told that by early next year, the bigger building next door will be ready for them to move in, and the current HEB market is going to be torn down to make more parking! Wow, what a huge endeavor but considering the business volume this store is getting, it's definitely needed. I look forward to revising this review next time I visit. read more

There were many jars on the end cap under the "Clearance" sign without the clearance price marked on them. I asked a passing isle worker who told me the sale price. i picked several jars and when I got to checkout, I told the checker, but I was not believed and being charged full price! Someone was called who insisted they were NOT on clearance! (This was very embarrassing to me as people behind me were staring and could hear.). I was not believed in the least as i explained they were on the clearance cap. I did not buy the items and took them out. they checked me out without even going to look! I paid for my other items, then I had to ASK for the person to follow me. When we got to the jars, I was finally believed. i accepted the apology. Every time we're in town we stop by this HEB to stock up for our vacation. It's never that crowded, they always have a large selection of pre-made meals and snacks to choose from, and the food is always fresh. We have never had to wait in line here. read more

I don't know where their corporate people went to school but where I did "required" as in masks meant do it or else. Customer comes first? I don't understand why HEB began stocking their shelves during working hours (when grocery isles are loaded with customers trying to shop) but it is ridiculous! Almost as ridiculous as having one/two checkers working (and very RARELY having anyone sacking). But why should they "PAY" employees to do this (when YOU and I will do it!) We are in-essence, paying "for the privilege" of shopping in their store, and doing their work for them. And for all of this - we get to buy their HEB Brand stuff (because they have nearly eliminated the option of buying Name brands) and we are lucky if we can find produce/consumables which are not beyond the sell date! I am a proud "born and raised" Texan and I have long embraced "the idea" of HEB being a community store. I love HEB! They've stepped up their organic products and there are so many healthier options at all their stores. They were there for us during the pandemic and so many of the employees at my Parmer/Mopac location are still there, which is a great sign. But I do have some requests. Please HEB do better at having recycling bins as whole foods does. You have to do better at recycling. Be a leader on this front. Also, I'm sure HEB has the funds to have those electric cart pushers for employees having to fetch the carts. It's hot out here and I don't get how some stores have the assisted cart pushers yet most stores don't. Do better for your employees! Also, not a huge request, but if we are scanning our own groceries and need an employee to give us a fingerprint for an alcohol sale, please advise them to say hello or some type of acknowledgment. I find that 8 out of 10 employees give me a quick look and say absolutely nothing. What happened to southern hospitality? It's sad but if this is the new norm, it's not cute. Rudest store employees that just don't listen. I tried self check because my produce is always brused from poor bagging. The young lady watching for store theft was extremely rude and insisted she needed to put an HEB sticker on the product I just paid for and had the receipt ready to show anyone that ask. I told her I had previously spoken to the store manager and was told if I didn't want a sticker on my purchased products I didn't have to have one. The young called me a a@&hole after I stated to remove the sticker or I wasn't buying the product. On a previous visit I was sprayed with toxic cleaner. The employee was cleaning the conveyor belt and accidently sprayed me and wasn't the least bit concerned. I asked for the OSHA information on the product but was given a blank stare. I finally got the manager to provide the needed information, the product was extremely toxic and caused burning of my skin. The store manager was not concerned at all. Rude employees and terrible baggers that bruse my produce every time. Self check watcher is rude and calls customer names. HEB gasoline is terrible and I get poor gas mileage compared to anyone else. Avoid this HEB if you can. Use other stores before shopping at HEB for anything. read more

Very nice HEB, the store is updated and offer a meat and seafood counter, as well as a deli and bakery. The pharmacy is excellent, the friendly people there go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. It also offers patio furniture, grills, plants, and flowers. read more

You cannot find better customer service, food quality or variety than HEB, Marble Falls. I moved here from a state where grocery stores can be found on every corner. Upon arriving in Marble Falls, I was amazed! Only one grocery store! There is a good reason for that! HEB has EVERYTHING! And not only that, they offer several varieties of everything! In addition, I have never met an HEB employee that did not go above and beyond to help me find something. I have canceled my Costco membership, and I do not miss it. I like to take my time and stroll the aisles at HEB in total amazement at all they have to offer. Like their wines, seafood, and produce. Kudos HEB! I walked into the store on 10/24/21 and noticed the shelves were dusty on the potato chip isle. I spoke with a manager named Manny and when I returned to the store the very next day he had cleaned the entire bottom shelves on the chip isle. This makes me happy that I was able to help other shoppers and cut back on the spread of germs, especially living in this day and age of covid 19. Thanks Manny. I like this HEB. It's a little weird and doesn't have all the bling that the newer stores have, but it gets the job done. They'll have to remodel at some point in the next few years.
