The glitch was that if I wanted it delivered to where we are staying I would have to pay close to $200.00 delivery fee. I chose to had it delivered to the Boise Idaho Camping world Store for me to come and pick up. We are currently and have been almost 3 hours from there but it was cheaper for me to go get it and I could do some needed grocery shopping. It was supposed to be delivered this past Monday. I decided to call first to see if they got it... good thing I did. It was not there. I called on Tuesday...again...not there. This morning I called the Store again and was told it was not there. They said I needed to call the Online store to have them track it. So I did. After some investigation the lady on the phone said she would call them and put me on hold. She came back and said that it WAS there. Had been since Tuesday. Even though EVERY TIME I have called I have been told "it was not there". The lady from the Online Camping World shopping told me she let them know that I was on my way to get it. By this time it was after 2:00 pm. I had already told the person who I talked to at the store that I was living almost 3 hours away and would take some time to get there. We hit rush hour traffic. Got to the Camping World store in Boise Idaho 5:45 pm. Went inside and let them know that we were there to pick up the Dryer. At this point all I got was "there is no one here to get it down from our storage upstairs" said over and over again. The two girls at that check out said it. The one girl said that she was the one that I talked to and said that was like 3 hours ago... OMG Yeah it was over 3 hours before. DUH..since that is how long it had taken me to get there. Of course I said I wasn't leaving until I got the dryer since it would have been stupid to go all the way back home. Couldn't stay over night because we have our dogs back at our RV. I raised my voice and then a floor supervisor came over and told me to stop yelling. TRUST ME IF I HAD BEEN YELLING THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN IT. But she kept saying that over and over. She finally told me she would find a supervisor after threatening me by kicking me out of the store. She kept saying Stop yelling. OMG. A man finally showed up and he said let me get someone who can get that Dryer for you. My advise to everyone in the Boise area. DO NOT GO TO THE BOISE CAMPING WORLD STORE IN MERIDIAN.

(*** NEVER SHOP AT CAMPING WORLD ***)…read more I shop at Camping World for all my RV needs. This was my recent experience. I called to get the install kit (faceplate, control box and thermostat) for my GE rooftop AC unit. These kits are all different and not compatible, you need an expert to know which to order. I called CW, they are busy, take my phone number to call back. They don't. 3 times this happened. Finally a woman says she can find out, I give her the serial number and model. Next day she doesn't call, I call back. You can use this kit "XYZ" Ok. You're sure? Yes! GE said that is what you need. "Ok, go ahead and order for me. Well, if I order it, it will be $80 extra as it gets shipped to us first." (I really didn't care) She insisted it would be easier and $80 less if I ordered myself to my home. I did. Open the box, immediately I can see it's the wrong item. I call, 4 times on 4 days, someone is saying they will call back. Never do. I go into the store, drove 40 miles with the unit. The girl says, "oh! That must have been Veronica, let me get your number and I'll have her and the manager get back to you." No one calls. I call multiple times with messages for the manager. He never calls. Finally I call and get a parts counter guy named Kevin. He says, he's well aware of "my story", that "they've all talked about it". And HE DOESN'T believe me. That they won't return the item, it's on me, because "I pressed order". He claims "why would we have you order it, I make commission?" I said, "you are saying I am lying?" "I just made up the $80 and the multiple phone calls it took me to order this?!" "Yes, I don't believe you." Mind you he isn't the manager but says" they will not be returning the item to GE for me, I can call them myself." Wrong! I ordered this by THEIR telling me it was the one. I am not the subject matter expert, that's why I called many times trying to get the parts. I called corporate customer service and was stonewalled as well. I would never order an air conditioning part of something I have no knowledge of without their involvement. Now they expect me to just eat the $271.00 that they erroneously said was what I need. (ChatGPT in 5 seconds told me it was the wrong parts after it arrived). They don't answer the phone, they don't return calls, they don't have the manager call, they expect you to lose money on their behalf and they CALL YOU A LIAR, repeatedly. DO NOT SHOP AT CAMPING WORLD. You have options. I'm now in the market for a new Grand Design or Keystone Raptor toyhauler. If CW were the only dealer for 500 miles, I'd drive it to avoid ever giving them another dollar. I always defended CW to others in the past. I liked that they are nationwide, have large professional stores, parts counters with actual people. NEVER AGAIN. I have screenshots of all the calls I made to get this ordered and then to try and get it resolved. Yelp is blocking my pictures, CW records all their calls, they have the means to verify 100% of this post as accurate

We purchased a new fifth wheel from Bish's in May 2023 and ultimately opted into the "Diamond…read moreWarranty" package (an additional $13k), as we had never owned an RV before and wanted to cover our bases. We were told this would cover pretty much any issue (interior or exterior) that we could potentially run into for the next 5 years, as well as annual inspections. Fast forward to spring of 2026, when we were ready to sell our unit and get out from underneath the AWFUL financing terms we signed (reiterating that we were brand new to the RV world and should have known better, but sometimes lessons have to be learned the hard way). We went to schedule our included inspection and address a few warranty issues but were only met with sales tactics and extremely poor communication. Calls and messages went unanswered, and we were initially told claims would be opened--only to later find out they had never been submitted. I had to physically go in on several occasions to get any sort of response, and we were eventually pushed by Wyatt to purchase a "$2,000 inspection for $1,300." We then began working with a new team member who finally opened the claim and got us the inspection that should have already been included in our warranty. From there, we were given little to no guidance or communication and ended up handling the warranty claim directly with the manufacturer ourselves, including gathering documentation and scheduling the repair. During the inspection, we were told there were additional concerns, including needing new seals and a potential brake issue in the next few years. However, we were informed none of these would be covered under the warranty because they were considered "maintenance items," which was extremely frustrating given the cost of the warranty and how it was originally sold to us. After the unit had been in their possession for three weeks, it was returned with additional issues: wiring had been poorly repaired, one of the exterior decals was scratched off, and two plastic pieces were broken off in the unit with no explanation of where they came from. The entire experience was incredibly disorganized and unresponsive. The "comprehensive" warranty coverage did not match what we were sold at the time of purchase, and we were clearly taken advantage of. Buyer beware - the entire situation felt like a ploy to get as much money as possible.

I have never had this experience (or charged this much) from Escape Campervans, Travellers Autobarn, or anyone on Outdoorsy. We paid $702 for 4 nights. If you want a company who abides by their policy and is more affordable, look elsewhere.** My husband and I rented a campervan through Wandervans in Boise to visit my brother in law stationed at Mountain Home AFB. His deployment got moved up so we had to move our trip last minute (15 days before). Wandervans easily moved our trip to our new dates - no issues. We received a call today that his deployment is extended and he cannot give us a solid timeline on when he will be back so we are cancelling the trip for now. We attempted to call the phone number provided in the email *5 times,* a toddler answered the phone every time and hung up. After finally connecting with someone virtually, we were told to contact the owner because nothing could be done since we moved the trip. See attached photos, as the cancellation policy clearly states that if you are more than 30 days out from your reservation you will receive a full refund (we were almost 60 days out). We spoke to the owner on the phone for several minutes and he said that since we moved the trip, it voided the cancellation policy. There is no documentation of that in their cancellation policy, which he acknowledged, but said that it is not included because it should be "common sense." We were told that if we wanted our money back that we could have our credit card company attempt to dispute it but that he has a "credit card dispute team" -- essentially telling us good luck. I would like to add that the cancellation policy in the email is from the rescheduled trip's confirmation email -- nothing is mentioned about rescheduled trips being void of cancellation policy.

The property has so much deferred maintenance it's not even funny. Literally everything is breaking in the house . Coffee maker, chairs, dining table, sofa...etc. Within the first 30 minutes in the house we had noticed over a dozen issues, most notably, not enough parking, no pack and play as advertised (so we have had a screaming baby doing their best to sleep on a bed), fridge doesn't make ice, as well as lack of air-conditioning in bedrooms. The house was burning hot when we arrived so no one slept the first night. They WILL NOT call you on the phone, they defer to bots, AI and texting to communicate. They promise to fix the issue and and then nothing happens. Extremely unprofessional and aggravating. We have children with us and it has been a nightmare, unfortunately. The property is beautiful, so it's a shame that all these issues bring this down to a one star.

When I arrived at the location on Franklin, can't miss it, Michael who was managing the front desk area was personable and genuine. He was dressed professionally and we joked about my last name especially since it was the same as the day that I was picking up. He went through all the details and I what I liked the most was highlighting all the important details like the QR code for roadside assistance, how much to fill up for gas and when to return it. I got the keys and matched the ID number on the keys to the back of the truck. It was very cleaned and the A/C worked like a Polar Bear's dream. We got a couple of bins Friday night and then the bulk of the moving the following day. We closed out the storage space at the space facility, dropped off the rest of the bins, put some gas in the truck and retuned back to the facility. The team upon the return were efficient and genuine. I was shown what the total was going to be and was immediately emailed with a receipt. Overall, the experience was great, hassle free and fair-priced. Thanks U-Haul Team.

It took 3 or 4 calls to get the same person at the U-Haul location on the phone. I opted to get it done at a different (1030 W Franklin) location. I was told I'd be transferred and then hung up on. I had to call back to get details. I called to make sure and was told i could show up at 11 or 1130 if wanted. I show up at 1145, but the installer is at lunch. He didn't bring my vehicle into work on it until 1220. The staff was very friendly, and I was even given a discount for the weight and the issues. For some reason, they only have one installer and he didn't seem to care that he went to lunch and didn't tell anyone anything and just didn't show up until I'm guessing someone contacted him. I appreciate everyone at the Overland U-Haul except for the dude that's apparently the only one that does installs and I'll definitely be the last time that I go that route. Quite beyond not worth it. Also, he zip tied the wiring closest to the connector onto my tow hitch, so there's absolutely no room to pull the connector anywhere so now I have to look under and see how much slack there is if any and cut the zip tie so that there's at least some give. This dude has apparently been doing installs for like 25 years yet he zip ties the wiring so that the connector is basically touching the tow hitch. The only way I could be less happy with the outcome of this is if the installation didn't happen and I had to reschedule again. Again, Amanda, Abigale and Damien and the other gentleman that works there were awesome. Just not the installer. I really hope that he either get spoken to or reprimanded or even fired so that nothing like this happens to someone else.
