My husband owns his own construction company and for the last couple of weekends we have been doing a job in the Carthage area. Bojangles is on the way so we have stopped in each time around 9:30 - 10:00 am . Unlike many of the other reviews my experience has been non other than absolutely pleasant. So in doing my research I feel like most complaints have been about drive thru wait time. If I'm being honest I did witness several people being told the wait was about 9 minutes as they were making more biscuits . I understand this is a fast food establishment and when using the drive thru you expect quick service, however they were being honest and giving an expected wait time with the option to wait or leave rather than just telling you to pull forward and after paying telling you. So I would like to shed a bit of light on what I am seeing from the inside which we often tend to miss in going through drive thrus. Hard working employees greeting each customer with a genuine smile and good morning. There are very few doing a job of many as I'm sure they are experiencing staff shortages. MY food is always hot and prepared well. I personally have never experienced a wait time. Not only are the employees busy taking orders and preparing the food but this place is clean. Tables clean ! Floors Clean ! Soda and condiment area clean ! Restrooms Clean ! Now let me tell you about Ziyah ( I hope this is the gentleman name as that's what my receipt states ). He has took our order each time we have come in his smile is contagious and his upbeat personality is exactly what you need to start the morning off right . He is always courteous and polite when taking our orders. He even speaks to my ten year old with the utmost respect as hes taking her order. Hes continuously out in the dinning area assuring everything is clean, we see him helping out his co workers in his spare time and restocking the food as needed as well as approching and taking the odrers of each customer with the biggest welcoming smile. Drive thru orders did seem to experience a wait time however if you have the extra time to walk in and see these employees hard at work and to receive a welcoming smile and hello its well worth it ! It definitely brings a bit more joy to our mornings and as long as we have work in the area it will be our Saturday morning breakfast stop. read more

My food was over three dollars or higher than usual because I get the same thing every time I go there, I asked the girl at the window about it. She said prices went up. That was a lie because when I got home, I looked on my receipt and found out, they charged me for something I didn't even get. read more

We recently moved to Carthage and both visits there were issues! I ordered an all white 8 price tailgate charged for. Got home it was not all white. 2nd visit- 3 piece all weight meal- I checked the order before leaving and it was 2 pcs. Told the girl I checked because of what happened the first time. She said I don't care you check it. Done won't ever go give them any of money again!!! read more

I guess it's been years and nothing has changed. This is probably the first time I've even left a review for a business but I really regret going here. The whole experience and food sucked. The automated recording just stopped talking so I wasn't sure if it got my order or what my total was. I kept saying "hello?" Etc and was hoping a worker would step in and acknowledge me as I'm pretty sure they can also hear your ordering but no... when I pulled around they were all laughing and even admitted that the speaker thing left me hanging. I pulled forward to wait and when I opened everything, it was all so very old and cold. I literally have no idea why I waited. Btw it was only like one other car there besides mine. The fries were hollowed out and completely dehydrated, the chicken was also dry and old, followed by the cheddar bo where the cheese was actually hard and dry.. each item was consistently bad. So online it says Bojangles is open in Carthage North Carolina until 2300. I pulled up to the drive-through to place my order, the recording "we are currently closed" , comes over the intercom. It is 2200 on Saturday, October 4, 2023. So I begin to pull off. I hear someone say, may I take your order I go to back up and they decide to laugh at me through the speaker/intercom and then no one ever took my order. This particular location rushed us through our order then told us they only serve items on the menu until 11 yet it was a fried steak sandwich combo. As we went through to receive our order they only gave us a partial order. Even after we went back and asked for the rest of our order they still didn't give us all of our food! Went through the drive thru and was told to pull off to the side. After waiting twenty minutes I just drove off as it was obvious they bumbled the entire order. The time it would take to go in and wait in line to complain, then wait another 20 minutes to get so-fast food wasn't worth my time. I had already paid, but justified the drive off as I had given more money to those in need on the side of the rode and that I would just eat the loss. I keep hearing the call to raise minimum wage, but I think it's time to talk about lowering it till there is serious change in employee effort and service considerably improves. The quality of service has dropped so low that I cannot justify going to a restaurant of any type at this point. Employees are slow, get confused easily, make multiple mistakes, food takes far to long to arrive and is barely warm at best. It has become easier to just go to a grocery store, buy food there, and eat it at a park bench. Waited over 36 minutes for my food and there were people after me getting their food when I've been waiting for 30+ minutes for my food! I usually love Bojangles, but this was the worst experience I've had at a Bojangles in a long time. read more

Staff was incredibly short, I did not get half the items I ordered, and the sandwich that I did get was not wrapped in anything and was lying spread apart at the bottom of the bag. read more

Ordered food and was missing my sides after paying almost 35 dollars for food when I called they tried to act like it was my issue that I left it. Horrible place would be better for Bojangles to have this location shut down there are always issues or find better management read more

This could possibly be the worst restaurant I have ever gone to. I ordered a 4 piece supreme dinner and a Cajun filet biscuit combo. I get to the window and they told me my total was 30.52. They proceeded to tell me I ordered 3 biscuits combos and then proceeded to tell my friend that we ordered the sandwich not the biscuit. The manager was rude and argumentative. This has to be the worst managed restaurant in Moore County. I placed my order today from the app and paid for it with a credit card. The email from the app to me said my meal would be ready at 6:15 PM. I arrived at 6:15 PM to find that this restaurant is now only open from 5 AM to 3 PM. So now I have to jump through the hoops of trying to get my money back from a place that won't even answer the phone. read more

Okay. This place appeared to be clean and new. That is the nicest thing I have to say. I went through the drive-thru, gave my order and had my order read back to me correctly. I was the only one in line, so there wasn't a whole lot of room for confusion. I pulled through and got down the road only to find out that the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit I ordered had been turned into a steak, egg and cheese biscuit. This bojangles doesn't even deserve 1 star. Worst one I have EVER went to. Service is slow. Food is far from fresh. Employees are rude. Every time I order I get Cajun chicken biscuit and its like rubber. You could break a window with the bo berry biscuit. It's sad that i choose McDonald's over this store. I'm glad I go to troy once a month because I get my bojangles fix there with fresh food, service with a smile, and adequate time. read more

The drive thru takes all day long. Literally had to sit there for 20 minutes until I got up to the speaker, then had to wait 5 more mins to wait on staff to take the order. Then 5 more mins at the window. After that my chicken wasn't warm. Good luck with this place. I'm not saying don't go there I'm just saying go when you have an abundance of time. read more

My mother went there and ordered a steak biscuit. When she pulled up to the window the attendant asked her if they could put her steak on a bun because they had run out of biscuits. If you're famous for chicken and biscuits, don't run out of biscuits. read more

The old saying still rings true, "they get you in the drive thru." I haven't met a Boround that I wasn't in love with, until about a month ago. I ordered my usual and get going down the road, I pull out that golden hunk of deliciousness and bite into it... yuk! It tasted freezer burnt. I spit it out the window and grab a second one thinking, maybe it was just that one. Nope, I was sadly mistaken. I ended up dumping the entire Bosized container of Borounds out the window while riding down the road. Which brings me to today. Now, I love sweet tea. It's probably my biggest vice when it comes to drink. Bojangles sweet tea is no exception. And those fries, on point every time. I order me a combo and get going down the road to work and I open my box and grab a fry, no seasoning. The entire box of Bosized fries had not one crystal of seasoning on it. So I sigh, look at the clock and realize I don't have enough time to turn around and go back. I continue on my journey and insert my straw into the sweet nectar of life which is my tea and as that first sip hits my soul... YUK! It tasted as though it was made with water out of my daughters 10gal fish tank. Who messes up tea, at Bojangles? That should be an immediate firing.
