I tried the new Buffalo wings today. As a former Buffalonian, let me help you out Bojangles. First off, the wings were not cooked long enough at all. They are supposed to be almost crispy. Horrible location. They always mess my order up. The only time it's ever right is when I get a chicken sandwich and fries. The fries always taste like it's been under the heating lamp for a while so the only thing I'll ever order is the chicken sandwich moving forward. My experiences: First time here we waited 45 minutes (maybe longer). We ordered 2 family meals and didn't get our 2-family size coleslaw and they shorted us on fries. When we called, they said they were out for the night and told to come back the next day. (They would not give us a refund). When we went the next day, they gave us a hard time and said they did not have anything on record from the previous shift but eventually gave it to us after waiting a while. Another time I ordered a 3-piece thigh and leg chicken meal and was given a 3-piece strip, they were out of coleslaw again and I had to settle with stale fries. I completed the survey (several times) and each time I have asked for them to contact me and they never have. Usually the staff is nice, but the last few times the girl has had an attitude with me. The management and owners should probably order more supplies so the restaurant can operate and make the things listed on the menu. They should also train ALL staff on customer service. read more

First off the employee that took my order acted like she didn't want to be there or me bothering her ordering food from her! Went to sit in the dining room and literally every table was filthy kind you it's 10:30 am and me and o my one other person was in the place they should have had plenty time to clean after the morning rush ! Now the food was the biggest problem the fries were cold the chicken biscuit was cold and the biscuit bottom was hard as a rock ,the dirty rice was actually the only thing that was good . I experienced why the reviews are so low. It was a horrible place! We were the only customers in there and I see why. An employee used the F word right in front me. When I said something to the manager he was defensive and rude and said he couldn't control what people say and said he didn't care if we ever came back or not. They do not care and they do not try. The last 6 or 7 times I've gotten food from this specific boj's they do the opposite of what I ask. It takes forever to get your food and it seems like they are actually trying to go out of business. Even with the low staff issues everywhere, they are the worst fast food restaurant in lake Wylie by far. Everyone else has found a way to make the short staff problem work. Only been to this bojangles 5-6 times. Haven't in over a year due to them constantly messing orders up tremendously and decided to give them another go today 12.12.21. Ordered number 13 which is 3 piece meal and double dirty rice for my older grandmother. Ended up getting two legs and a side or dirty rice and green beans after a 10-12 min wait on a Sunday night. Will never visit this location again. Every visit there is always something wrong. Will take my business to a bojangles a few miles down the road. There is no way that the order is wrong every time. Should have known better. I finally broke down and decided to cheat on my diet with some fried chicken. Ordered a 3 piece leg/ thigh. Got home to a 2 piece breast/ wing. Chicken was lukewarm and dry. Coleslaw was out of date, per their own timestamp on the container. My wife ordered Supremes with 2 sauces. Hers were dry and lukewarm as well and no sauces were given. We have been going to Bojangles for years and this one got 4 years. They have steadily gone downhill - not only the quality but also messing up orders. The last 4 times we have gone to this location, the order was wrong. The last 3 times, I just wrote it off to the Covid issues. The chip on my card isn't working correctly, so I told her how to fix the problem, like I have to do at every other store I shop at, but she was completely ignoring what I was saying. Stopped here at noon to grab a lunch before heading to my parents. We decided to head to the drive thru, and there were two other cars ahead of us. The wait was not that long. I told her before we were about to order that we had a rather large order. After completing my order she read everything over to double check it. I pulled up to pay, and she said she wanted to make sure everything was correct and wanted me to look over the order. Everything was correct, and I paid. Because we ordered $60 worth of food, she asked if we would park for a couple minutes and they will bring the food out to us. I was thinking it would be like 10 or so minutes, but I doubt it was even 5 minutes! It came out super fast. Everything was hot (even though we had to drive about 6 minutes from this location), and correct. I will never go back - not because of the food but because of ONE EMPLOYEE. I frequent this particular restaurant at least 2 or 3 times a week but after my experience today I will not go back. The drive thru employee this morning made a mistake with my order this morning and instead of trying to just fix it, slammed the window in my face and started running her mouth to another employee about me "changing" my order 3 times. I travel all over the Southeast and eat at Bojangles regularly. Unfortunately this particular Bojangles is the worst store of any I have experienced. I live nearby and have tried and tried to support this location, but no more! 30% of my orders have been wrong, looking through the drive through window, you can see it is dirty, poorly managed and clearly not up to Bojangles standards. The employees uniforms are unsightly, disheveled at best and have the poor attitudes to match.
