Sandwich felt like it had small square pieces of chicken that you would have diced in a salad, and it was very scarce in the wrap as well. The wrap was filled with greens and I left feeling hungry. Service was really good though and the bar tenders spoke with all their guest. They also have a WIDE variety of beer that beer lovers can enjoy, I just happened to not be drinking that night. If you like craft beer and bottle shops, you will love the Casual Pint. To start, they have an awesome selection of local craft beer. You can get a good idea of the beer in the region by coming here. On draft, they were heavy on IPAs, stouts, and sours. They also had porters, pilsners, lagers, and a cider on draft. No Belgians, though, which made me sad, but they did have a lonely Hefeweizen. It is like a sports bar so there are plenty of TVs to watch sports. There is both a bar area and a seating area with tables. There is also an outside patio. On my visit, it was way too cold to be sitting outside. There are games to play here, mostly board games. They have a list of events, so if you are planning to visit during the week, you may want to visit their website to see what the happenings are. What I was really impressed by is their awesome selection of cans and bottles. And when I say awesome, I mean awesome. So many local craft beer delicacies. They also have food, I tried the chicken quesadilla with bacon for $1 extra. It was good. Came with salsa and sour cream. The salsa was both spicy and delicious. I enjoyed the salsa the most. We attended a Drag Queen brunch here and had the best time. For such a small space lots of entertainment was accomplished. This is not a regular thing, perhaps just an occasional event. The performers were AMAZING! The ladies definitely know how to work a crowd. My fav part was the Q&A and let's be honest, all the performances. The only negative was the food. It was a small buffet on the patio which included some fruit, pastries and breakfast food with some horrible meatball and chicken nugget pieces (I swear those were not full nuggets). However the mimosas were delicious. We grabbed a pitcher and had a buzz quickly. Enough so that we did some drunk HomeGoods and Target shopping afterwards. There is also a small retail area with a shelving area with warm and cold beer. The beer selection is terrific for such a small location, they have 35 taps all of which are occupied with craft beer. A lot of local offerings as well. I believe they also have a couple of taps with wine. They have food, but I haven't ordered any on any of my visits. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. Stopped in last week after unpacking two houses worth of items. Wife and I have been looking for a watering hole. We expected that the food would be fresh and service staff used proper hygiene. But after the first glass of wine and beer we indulged in, we noticed the staff coming in and out from smoking and not washing hands. We ate the sidewinders as recommended by our bartender. I will start off by saying I appreciate the quick response to questions and the helpful customer service. However, this place is overpriced. I came here because they are one of the few places that keeps stock of the ciders that I like and I wanted to take some for our upcoming trip. I paid about $16 for a 6 pack of a mix of ciders. I should have waited until we went for our trip and got a 12 pack variety case from another store on the route that sells it for under the 6 pack that I paid for. I understand that when you create your variety it is more expensive, but it was definitely more expensive than any place I have created my own pack by about $5. I see now why they don't put the pricing up, avoids you from walking out after seeing the sticker shock. I will now have to request another store that I go to in which I only see 1-2 flavors in stock to get more flavors in to go there instead. read more

As my friend said don't know how he has stayed in business for six years. I was in there today as first time customer I ordered a chicken quesadilla that said it has Mozzarella cheese, Mixed fiesta cheese, and Feta cheese so I ordered it when I got my order it was nothing on the quesadilla but mozzarella cheese. After work I took it back and was greeted at the counter by a young lady, I explained to her why I was there, I told her that the quesadilla only has mozzarella cheese on it and the web page listed three kinds of cheese. then, used her phone to scan the QR code on the counter she said not that I don't believe you, but I just want to see for myself. she showed me the web page and it said mozzarella I told her that the page I saw had the three cheeses that I listed. she went to the back and got the owner, and he came out, so I repeated what I told her to him. I came in very quiet and discrete not to disturb his customer because that's how I was taught to handle business or a concern. he straight our told me that I was acting like a 12-year-old child because I didn't have three cheeses on my quesadilla, I was quite taken aback by what he was saying to me. I asked him for my money back and he said no that he refused to give me back my money I asked him what you did you say, and he said I will not give you back your money. I told him that he will give me my money because I am calling 911 and he said that when they get here, they will laugh in my face. As I went to my car to get my cell phone, he came behind me and started to google the web page and found what I saw he was then very shocked at what he saw the same thing I was telling him that I saw. as I went back into the store with my phone to call 911, he told me that is why HE DON'T LIKE MY KIND IN HIS STORE. We went to the Casual Pint for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was not busy. They have a nice selection beer on tap and the bartender was good at asking me what type of beer I liked and letting me try a few. In addition to the many beers on tap, they have over a 100 in cans and bottles. The Casual Pint is a great place to go for beer but not so much for the food I had a wrap with chicken and apples which was very nice. It was served with the side of sidewinders, which is their version of potato wedges. They were crisp, not greasy and very good. My wife had a hamburger. When our server took our order, my wife asked if the burger could be cooked medium-rare. She replied that the burgers only get cooked one way (all the same). It was served medium-well. The burger was disappointing in that the beef tasted like a frozen pre-done patty you would buy at the grocery store. It did not have a much flavor. I guess our biggest disappointment was that in my wife and daughter's salad. Some of the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers showed signs that they had been frozen, when we showed this to our server, she took them back and took the salads off the bill. read more

So I came here the other day and ordered take-out. The food was phenomenal. We got the garlic wings and the keepin it casual fries. The fries were simply amazing. It came topped with a whole bunch of goodness! I placed my order over the phone and when I got there, the food was ready. The restaurant was clean. I come here 1-2 every month and it's my favorite bar/restaurant in the Rivergate/steele creek area BY FAR. They have events happening at least 3 times per week (karaoke, live music, trivia) so it makes it very fun. The bartenders are very nice and welcoming! This is a really cool little spot. Tons of beers on tap, a few wines to make sure everyone is covered, and so many options to buy in store that you could never try them all. A group of us stopped here after dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. The list is a little intimidating but the staff is happy to help. We had incredible service which was a real treat. The patio was heated so we were able to dominate a nice corner without intruding. They are also dog friendly so that is a plus for our return. It didn't have that bar feeling which was refreshing. This place is just ok. They have a nice selection of beer but you should plan to pay way too much for most draft brews. The decor is pretty generic, and there does not seem to be a genuine love and passion of beer which affects the atmosphere. They have a food menu but I wish that they didn't. Everything seems to be microwaved Costco fair; the only thing worth getting is the egg rolls. They would be better off to have cheap snacks and allow people to bring food in from the surrounding restaurants. Overall I'd say don't waste your time here, go down the road to Carolina Beer Temple. read more
