I always love to go to my Dickson Bojangles! They've had some up and downs through the years, but this time they have it going on! Stopped in a few nights ago for a family meal; the service I encountered was amazing. My chicken was crispy and my biscuits were soft. The manager and crew seemed to be having a great time working, which made me feel more confident about my choice for tonight's meal. Horrible experience and the food was just as bad. The kids had my wife and I pull up at the drive through and wait 30mins until we went in and they didn't even make the food! They were playing. No one was coming in and no one was there. They finally made the food only because we were standing there. It is Feb. 11th at 730pm. The food was cold and we had to throw it out. I'd never been to Bojangles before in my life, so I don't know how it's supposed to be. Despite a lot of negative reviews I decided to try it while passing through town. The lady that took my order in the drive thru was very sweet. The tenders were fresh and were really good. The Mac and cheese wasn't great. Also seemed like cross contamination was happening with the Mac. The sweet tea was sweet. The biscuit was hot and fresh, just wish it came with butter or honey or something because it was dryer than the desert. The lady at the actual window was something, didn't say a word, no here's your food, would you like a receipt, no your total is, no fuck you have a bad day. Upon arriving to this location I took notice of their dining room & how they've taken pride in the cleanliness of the stores interior from their clean dining room area refreshment station & cashier station. As soon as I walk toward the counter ready to place my order my cashier welcomed me with a friendly attitude ready to take my order. She had really made my day giving me exactly what I ordered & didn't miss one side or piece of chicken. Everything's now perfect for a enjoyable dining experience I've experienced every time when patronizing a Bojangles. The minute I bit into my breast it was absolutely crunchy moist & perfectly spiced. Popeyes & the Colonel don't even come close. Their signature sides are absolutely to die for I always order their Mac and Cheese Mashed Potatoes and Dirty Rice. I also enjoy their biscuits over Popeye's or KFC as they don't tend to live up to my expectations or quality being Bojangles make theirs from scratch. I stopped in for breakfast one weekday morning... they weren't busy at all and I placed my order pretty quickly. The order came ready quickly too, but the lady giving out the orders wasn't really with it this morning... she forgot items, like my coffee. The chicken was awesome! Spiced and battered perfectly! Horrible customer service!! They closed the inside even though they had enough people to make it work. Then when we entered the restaurant through the open door they yelled at us from the back. I got in the long drive thru line and watched family and worker group after group leave because they were forcing everyone to use the drive thru. Really bad customer experience! I was just hungry. I ordered mac and cheese, with tenders, and a sweet tea. The cashier was very disrespectful, she was on her phone and told me to wait for someone who cares to take her order. I felt very offended because this is one of my local Bojangles and I come to pick up food for my sons soccer team, but I am appaled. Absolute show everytime we come here. Expect a 20-40 minute wait-always. We started to order food online well in advance in hopes of it being ready by the time we get here....still a 30 minute wait. This place is the most poorly ran establishment I've been to in my life. It never gets better. Our order is almost wrong every single time too. So we wait all this time for the wrong order. Bojangles in Dickson, TN is the BEST run location of this fast food chicken and biscuit restaurant. While road tripping from Knoxville to Little Rock, my friend and I stopped in here for a late lunch/snack (~2:30pm). Weren't we surprised by the warm greeting, excellent hospitality, and outstanding received from the store Manager and her team provided to us. Even though the drive thru remained steady/busy and other customers were enjoying their meals in the dining room, we were treated as though we were the only ones there. All food was cooked fresh for our order INCLUDING a fresh pot of hot coffee. The food was served fresh and was not greasy nor overly seasoned. Simply put, this is THE BEST, most delicious fast food meal I have ever had. As for the physical environment, it could not have been nicer. The place was extremely clean, all dining room tables clean and ready for new customers and floors so clean you could literally eat off of them. Condiments were well stocked and the area for these and self-serve drinks was kept in excellent order. The kitchen is readily visible from the front counter and was obviously clean. All male workers when I went in, so not sure how someone yelped about ALL female employees. Schedules are schedules, lol. But the service was great, food was great. All young people working in the restaurant along with all being female; not sure either has anything to do with the poor quality of food I was served, but it sure feels like an accurate observation. Very friendly but seem to be more worried about their social standing than anything close to resembling any care or concern for the food they're dishing out to the customer. That being said the biscuits and gravy I paid for resembled hockey pucks and paste more than what was displayed on the menu or promised. Very disappointed and feeling frustrated that the price of everything is rising while the quality of what's be over -inflated just keeps getting worse. I have to give a shout out to this restaurant and its district manager. The food and service were 5 stars. However, the kicker for me was that I spilled my large ice tea all over the floor. The district manger jumped up from his seat and commenced to make me feel like less of an idiot for making such a mess with his kind words. He was beyond kind. Very disappointed with my experience. 30 mins after ordering and paying we had not received our food. When asked to speak with staff they did not even know we were waiting on our order. The young man who took the order said he threw the ticket away. By the time the figured out the mistake they told us they were out of white meat after sending 3 large boxes out the drive through. We were told the remaining white meat was expired and did we want dark meat. No apology or compensation was offered and the manager tried to short change the refund. It will take a lot for me to return after this experience. So sad read more

We were there this past Saturday morning. I got the gravy biscuit combo with a cinnamon biscuit as well. The lady at the cash register forgot to give us our cups for our drinks. My dad's hash browns aka bo-rounds were halfway frozen and they got my brothers order wrong. Once we got all of that situated, the food was good. I think the girl up front was new and still in her training but I could be wrong. I'm just choosing to believe there was a reason for the few things that went wrong with our visit. We haven't had any problems with them before but this was a rough visit. All in all, the food is good. This visit just didn't go so swell. Food, 5 star. This visit, 2 star.
