Chopped grilled steak, Pepperoncinis and cheese nestled in a soft sub bun bursting with flavor. Fries that come with unique toppings, my option maple bacon fries forced me to clear the plate. Beware the chicken tenders too, 3 tenders occupied more than half the plate, few can handle a full order. We are new to the area. We looked up information on good restaurants in Dickson. Little bite of everything came up. So we decided to give it a try. It was absolutely fabulous. Cam was our waiter, and he was extremely attentive and gave us great information about the menu. We ordered the maple bacon fries and I would give that a 10 out of 10. We would definitely order that again and again. I had the chicken with mac & cheese, and the husband had a hamburger. We were both extremely happy with our order. They've won multiple awards. Can't say even great things about this restaurant. We were greeted by multiple people as we walked in. After ordering drinks, we decided on Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer & splitting 'The Big Dill' Burger. Both were delicious, the burger is definitely large enough to split as it also comes with a side. Yes, you want to add that marshmallow fluff to the sweet potato fries Make sure you pop in the bathroom too to see the amazing paintings on the walls. The burger was good, but it wasn't amazing to where I have to come back again to have another. I liked the fried green tomato with the pimento cheese gooey and yummy. There was cheese in every bite and it had just the right amount of spice to make you sniffle. The macaroni and cheese was a little less amazing. It seemed that it didn't have much cheese to it nor flavor. I wouldn't have wanted these as fried Mac and cheese bites. I won't say I won't come back again, but I won't rush back. FANTASTIC spot in old downtown Dickson. Happened to come across this place doing a basic Yelp search for decent, non-chain places to eat in the Dickson area and found an absolute gem! The parking can be a bit wonky, as there is only a few street spots available right near by, but once you're in, the restaurant has plenty of seating. It is comfortable inside, nicely apportioned with retro items and has a cool atmosphere to dine. We tried some drinks, which were just ok - a little sweet for my taste, but that could have just been my poor choice, but when the food came out it surpassed by expectations by far! I had the two slider & fries meal. Pretty straight forward, two small hamburgers with very little ketchup, lots of mustard and a pickle. The fries were fresh cut with peels still on, cooked to a nice crunch. Washed it down with a glass of water, which is served in a large mason jar. Nice country vibe touch. Sadly to say, the pricing is higher than I expected. Service was ok, could have been a little more attentive about drinks needing refill but maybe they were thinking large jar they did not have to. The menu has lots of choices but again really surprised of the pricing. A burger and fries for $16-$23. I did not see the worth in the pricing versus what I was seeing being served. read more

We are normally very happy with the food and service. Today, I ordered the LBOE Club, and the ham was so rotten that it had white swirls all over it and it was very sour smelling. Also, the plates were warmer than the soggy fries which must have sat in the window for a while. Hopefully, they correct this issue and check the freshness of the food before preparing and serving it to customers. They did, however, remove the charge for the club. read more

We have been hearing great things about this place just beyond Clarksville! I'm a sucker for word of mouth and fresh cut fries, so this place was certainly on my list to check out. I gotta preface this by saying that I am not a huge fan of big burgers...but this was a super tasty doggone burger. All burgers are cooked medium well and this was cooked just right. The fries - Well, those fries were the best!! Couldn't ask for a better no-frills simple order of fries. So, so good!! My wife ordered The Southern Burger with house classic pimento cheese & a fresh fried green tomato with some Bacon Cheddar Ranch Fries on the side. She really liked the overall taste of her burger but thought that the pimento cheese right on top of the fried green tomato made the tomato a bit soggy and would prefer them to be on either side of the tasty burger. Someone in our group ordered, as their meal, the Trio Flight of Fries with Mac & Cheese, Bacon Cheddar Ranch, and Chili Cheese Fries. She said that they were all really good, but that the Mac & Cheese option was the best of the three. We will definitely be back for more! I was very impressed with the lunch we had here! We came in on a weekday for a business lunch and were promptly seated. We started with their appetizer assortment, which had fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, fried mac & cheese, and some of their pimento cheese - It was all delicious; the sauces that came with it were also very tasty. I ordered a salad with their hot chicken on top and it was really tasty! Their jalapeño ranch dressing was really nice and all the ingredients in the salad were fresh. Their ice tea tasted fresh and rich in flavor. Last course was their Nanna's Banana Cream cheese Pie which was rich and incredible! Family again decided to do local and try LBOE again after trying it during COVID. I ordered a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and mayo. My mom ordered the same so we decided to do one with fries and salad with the other meal. Glad we did since the fries were over cooked. I see tons of people eating here but still not sure what the hype is all about. This could be just me though. Food taste basic and don't understand why fries that are hand cut are old and not fresh.
