We recently had a great experience at this Raising Cane's location off of White Bridge! Our good friend told us she'd actually never had Cane's before, and we knew we needed to change that. We stopped in around 7:30 PM on a Tuesday night, and ordered at the counter! The service was as fast as I've ever seen it ... literally my friend was still finishing paying at the cashier and her food was already ready. The restaurant itself was clean as well - and there were team members checking in on the dining room regularly to pick up trash and wipe down tables. Everyone was friendly, which is always refreshing, especially in a fast food restaurant. You really can't go wrong with Cane's chicken tenders, and these hit the spot after a particularly long day. One of my favorite hacks is swapping the coleslaw in the box combo for an extra piece of Texas toast. They also had Leprechaun Lemonade for St. Paddy's Day, which was a fun twist on their classic Cane's lemonade. read more

I do not eat fast food a lot, at all. But when I do, its usually Cane's. Their chicken is hot and made to order and cones out perfectly crisp. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my chicken. I switch out the coleslaw for more Texas toast (aka buttery goodness) for no extra charge! Their fries are very salty, so thats the qualm, but everything is salty these days (have you seen the internet?). Finally swung by the newest fast food craze to hit Nashville, Raising Canes! I do not find myself in the White Bridge area often, so on a recent visit I noticed the lines were short, so swung in for some chicken tenders and sweet tea! I have had Canes before, in Texas on many work trips, so this visit was more to take it home to my partner who had never experienced before. While I do enjoy the tenders and cane sauce, the fries are always underwhelming for me. They seem to come out soggy. However, I honestly don't come to Canes for the food, their sweet tea is my absolute favorite sweet tea! I know it is ridiculously bad for you, but when in Rome... Very excited to have tried this newly opened Canes! I've been to plenty of Canes in other locations and this location is already better than some I've had before! The food was very hot and fresh 10/10. I just obsess over their Cane sauce, it's very unique. I substituted the cole slaw for an extra piece of their Texas toast and it did not disappoint! However, I've heard their cold slaw is good. The outside and inside of this location is very nice. I love the outdoor shaded patio, everyone appeared to be comfortable & enjoying themselves! This location is off of White Bridge road in the Trader Joe's plaza. I went through the drive thru around 1pm and there were two very long lines. It did seem to take a long time to place my order. So I was a little late to the #canes #caneschicken Chicken Fingers Frenzy. I must say they are good and if I want Chicken Fingers (Strips) they are my pick. All they do is Chicken Fingers so if you want other parts wings, thighs, legs or breast you need to go elsewhere. Chicken is juicy, flavorful and crunchy. Most meals come with slaw, Texas toast and krinkle fries, but the runner up star of the show is the #canessauce you could serve that to me in a Margarita glass and I'd be happy. So if you haven't tried yet I would say give it a try. I love cutting up the chicken and throwing into a salad with veggies and then mixing the sauce with some ranch for a tangy dressing. I went here and I was just expecting some good chicken and encountered the nicest young man who was working the front counter. His name was Max and he looked around maybe 20 but he was so welcoming and nice. He made me feel comfortable in the establishment, which is unusual when I go out because public establishments tent to make me nervous. There are a dozen or so fast food places to get chicken tenders and fries but of them all I think Raising Canes is probably the best at the moment. You get a plate of tenders of equal or better quality than you'd get at a sit-down "family dining" restaurant for half the price. Shut this place down. We were in line for 20 minutes only to be told they couldn't process payments. Todd Graves CEO should be ashamed. Line builds up and no one can be served. Second time we went through drive thru at this location during working hours and could not be served. Don't try to be open and lie to customers. Todd Graves, you are a bad owner and be embarrassed. A lot of folks I run into up in Nashville swear by Raising Canes and the chicken. Naturally, I had to try. I am running behind posting this because I visited the establishment two weeks ago! It's a fast food joint - similar in concept to Zaxby's. However, that is where the comparison ends. Canes has better, more tender, and more flavorful chicken - hands down!! They have better fries, too!! The cole slaw has no wow factor but decent. The portions are generous, though. And as per usual, I had to get unsweetened iced tea. Was happy with the tea, too. It isn't watered down either!! The staff is pleasant and courteous even as late as I showed up. Big plus to them!! The food was served hot and fresh - just how I like it! I have never been to a Raising Canes but have wanted to go for years. I have always heard that they had huge tenders and a sauce to die for. So I drove 100 miles one way to try it and left super disappointed. The only positive was that the customer service was somewhat pleasant. The restaurant was busy and packed. The limited seating was dirty and not clean. The drink machine drain pan was over flowing with ice. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I placed my order for a six piece tender meal which exceeded $16. The tenders were about the size of a flattened Chick-fil-a nugget. They were bland and greasier than a mechanic on payday. The crinkle fries were as thin as shoe string fries and the sauce was oily and horrible. The only good thing was the side of bread. Now that being said, maybe it's this particular location, and not indicative of other locations. I definitely should have read the low Yelp reviews first. They are spot on. My husband and I were very excited to see a Raising Cane's location opening in the Nashville area and visited on a Sunday afternoon. We were already familiar with this chicken chain as they were popular in Kentucky. Cane's specializes in their "one love," chicken fingers, and they do it well! Combos include chicken fingers. slaw, Texas toast, and fries. Don't forget the delicious Cane's sauce! The crowd was more than the parking lot could handle. The parking spots in the lot were full, the drive thru had a loooonnnggg line, and we had to park behind the restaurant and walk up to get inside. Inside we found another long line for placing your order, but it was efficient and moved quickly. We placed our orders for the chicken fingers we love (extra Cane's sauce for me!) and looked for a table, which we were happy to find. When our order was ready, the name was called over the speaker, and then we had our first taste of delicious chicken fingers and craveable sauce that we had missed so much since moving here. Our food was hot and delicious, just like we remembered. You could tell from the crowd of diners that Raising Cane's already has a big following here in Nashville! What a disappointment! If you have an aversion to seasoning then this is the place for you. The chicken is moist and seems good quality but the breading sucks. I mean it literally tastes like unseasoned flour. The fries needed salt as well and the slaw was sweet but had a strange aftertaste. The tea was watered down too. The only redeeming part of the meal was the Cane sauce which was good, and kind of like your classic "comeback" sauce. Place an online order and was just waiting for it to get finished to pick up. The bags were placed where the online order pick up was but one bag didn't have a name or info on it, so we asked them if it was our bag. They said "open it. If that's what you ordered then it's yours." I was confused because I didn't want to open a bag if it was somebody else's order. They did not have our drinks ready so we told them we were missing drinks and then they asked what we got, instead of looking at the order and having our drinks ready. It was an order with multiple combos so we were trying to remember what all was ordered. I just don't understand why I was supposed to tell them what I ordered instead of them looking it up and having it ready. I've been trying to eat at this restaurant since they opened, but they have been jam packed. Today at about 11:20 cars were lined up at the drive-through, but only a handful of people inside. I went inside and ordered lunch. What a major disappointment. I don't get all the hype. Incredibly limited menu. Your only choices are a 3, 4, or 6 finger basket, or a finger sandwich basket. The baskets come with a small side of coleslaw, fries, and a drink. Having lived in Nashville for a little over 30 years, I suppose I am spoiled by our world famous hot chicken. At this restaurant not only are there no heat options, but it didn't taste like they even season what they do serve. Salt anyone? There's no choice of sauce. You get their sauce or none at all. Service wise, I ordered lemonade, which was okay, but unlike their other beverages, you have to go back to the counter for a refill, and 10 minutes after I ordered folks were lined out the door, making it next to impossible to get waited on for a beverage refill. And add to it, while there were only a few people seated when I ordered, and the restaurant, although attractive (new), I had a hard time finding a clean table. No thank you! read more
