I drove to this location of Bojangles because I was on business in London, KY; however, London, KY seems to have a serious layout problem when it comes to planting stop signs at certain side streets and even the entry to this place is kind of questionable. So it is located to the side of a road where the speed limit is like 45 mph (but you know people are going to be booking it at 55 and over) and not only that, the entrance only has a stop sign pointed towards anyone trying to exit out of it (This could easily be mistaken as a one way). Since businesses (and this goes for most businesses in KY) tend to have compartmentalized property, there is only one way in and one way out; there is no entrance if one were to come here through the neighboring McDonald's parking lot. The actual item I decided to get was the cajun filet chicken biscuit because some food website was raving about how it is a #1 item; however, I never noticed the cost of a biscuit. It is like $4.19! So with how expensive a biscuit sandwich is and the fact that it was so dry when I bit into it (tasty but dry); it would make sense why I gave it the rating that I did. read more

I've been a big fan of Bojangles until this location. First issue, we ordered mash potatoes and gravy... no gravy. When I say no gravy, I mean none. The chicken was old and cold. They give you the smallest little bag of fries. It was not even big enough for a kid's meal. The world famous biscuits were even disappointing. Great prices for a cold underwhelming meal. I wanted to give this location another chance after the last time when they served us literally burnt food. It was actually charred. It has only gotten worse. This location isn't exactly right off of the interstate, but it's just a few miles from the London exit and worth the drive if you're passing through, like we were. I've been to a few BO locations. I like how this one displays local photography. I also liked how friendly the people were. But what I really liked was the food! We ordered the tailgate special, for $19.99. It consisted of 12 chicken tenders and 2 sides, biscuits and a half gallon of tea. They let us mix up between the regular tenders and Cajun style. Honestly there isn't much difference and I'm usually a sissy when it comes to spice. The bbq sauce is awesome and they gave us several containers. For our sides we chose 2 fries. The fries are perfectly seasoned and amazing. They sell the fry seasoning salt and I was tempted to buy a shaker of it, but I don't need help with eating fries, they are my weakness. I dropped into this Bo's on my back from ATL. This is the last Bo's before you hit Ohio, PA and Western NY. So this was my dinner spot before the long drive back to Buffalo, NY. I went ahead and ordered the chicken fingers, with a Pop and a bo berry biscuit. The bo berry biscuit was as good as I remembered. The fries were old and not seasoned enough, but I didn't eat alot of those. But the chicken tenders and the sauce is always good. I also went ahead and ordered a dozen bo berry biscuits to bring back home to share with my partner and room mates. They loved it and can't wait till I go back to the south and bring some more home. I must have to mention tho, the staff was a little ICEY (stand offish) to me when i was ordering food. They treated me as like I was from another planet or something. This is the last Bo's going back north. I have to say that our food was perfect and actually looked like the picture. The chicken was thick and crispy and JUICY go figure...not the norm for fast food. This was great. Will be a regular stop when passing through as long as they keep it up. Highly recommend!! We're from the outskirts of Chicago and was passing through to get to Gatlinburg. The customer service was so outstanding! Up north we don't come across nice people in the food industry. It's very straight foward where we come from so manners with our meal was a pleasant surprise. Travelling through on I-75 on our way home to Louisville, we swung into this clean, very friendly Bojangles to grab a quick dinner. The staff were all friendly, the manager was very courteous and the food was pretty good, too, albeit a bit on the salty side for me...but it is 'fast food' and so that wasn't really a surprise. Two of my kiddos had a kid's meal, my oldest had breakfast for dinner, always fun, my wife had a grilled chicken and I went for the cajun tenders combo. Again, I don't put salt on anything, and so the pinto beans & dirty rice were a little beyond what I would have wanted for salt content, but I'll just chock that up to personal preference. It wasn't due to negligence or bad prep. Would we come back? Absolutely. We loved seeing the Christian artwork on the walls and listening to family friendly, Christian music while we sat down to eat. I'm revising my review. This place has greatly improved since the early days. They now have a better group of employees serving much improved food. For a while they had no customers and I wondered how they were staying open. Now good food and good service is bringing back customers. On our drive home, this was our choice for stopping for lunch and getting a break from driving in the rain. None of us in the car had ever been to a Bojangles so it fit right in with our requirements of 'Places we can't easily eat at home'. I wanted to try their grilled chicken bites they had, and they were...ok...I didn't realize they came in their own sauce already. It was good, just not what I was expecting. I'd never had Bojangles, so figured I'd give it a try while passing through London last night. Worst fried chicken I've ever had. No flavor at all. I'd prefer Popeyes, or even, I hate to say it, KFC. And KFC is gross. That's how not good this chicken is. The fries were overseasoned and the biscuit needed more butter. I would say maybe this location is just bad or maybe they were having an off night, but no, this fried chicken recipe is just not my 'cup of tea.' read more

Stopping for lunch expecting your traditional fast food chicken experience. And while there were elements that made Bojangles a better option than KFC or Burger King even there were some major negatives that could so easily be fixed with some coaching from management. The cashier that took my order spent half the time looking past me or back towards her coworkers and what was going on around her that she seem so disinterested in talking to me about my elections. I don't eat Bojangles much so I'm not really familiar with the menu. I asked questions and was greeted with a look that seemed more like annoyance then gratitude. Then I was asked to see it and was told that my food would be brought to me. I waited for at least 10 minutes before receiving my order. This wouldn't bother me if it was a traditional sit down restaurant but it was a fast food restaurant. I chose this election because I wanted to get it out fast. Apart from the customer service experience piece lacking, the food came out fresh and very tasty. I had chicken strips mashed potatoes macaroni and cheese on a biscuit all which cost me around seven dollars once a drink was added.I'll go back Bojangles I guess next time though I just expect a little less from the engaging talent that works there read more
