The Bojangles in Henderson, NC, is a busy, busy place at lunch and maybe other times too. I stopped for a quick bite before my DMV appointment nearby. Service was friendly after the initial confusion, with me just ordering sides and a drink. She looked at me like I couldn't order that, even though the sides were on the menu. This seemed to puzzle the clerk that I didn't want fried chicken. I do enjoy Bojangles chicken, but I just had so much time to eat and fried chicken can be messy. I was impressed at the efficiency of this location A team member asked my order when going through the drive around- even though a long line- it moved quickly- the second team member took the money at a window & the 3rd Team member at the next window- handed the order- my small coke was satisfying & small order of fries was hot -not overly salted- location is right off the Henderson NC I85 exit - surrounded by numerous businesses & a trauma hospital within a couple minutes drive - a great fast food experience!!! read more

On my way to VA, I stop here to get a quick bite sometimes. The food quality is really inconsistent. My food is rarely fresh, but it was pretty good on 5/26/21. We went through the drive thru, which was somewhat slow. They were out of steak due to a shortage according to the sign on the speaker box. That was fine because we got 2 chicken Supreme kids meals. The cashier was somewhat friendly. Nothing to talk much about. There was plenty of parking available. We will definitely go back. read more

We went there Monday for lunch. I ordered 2 - 2 pieces dinners, one Pepsi, one ice tea. They gave me 2 teas. Fries were loaded with salt. ( I can't eat salted food.) No problem with that. Every restaurant salts their fries. I picked up the first piece of chicken and there was a puddle of oil under it the size of a golf ball. I smelled the oil, and it smelled burned. The chicken tasted like burned oil. My wife ate parts of her food. The night she threw up and had diarrhea. I managed a fried chicken restaurant for 10 years. I know what good chicken tastes like. First time at Bojangles, but heard plenty about it! We were friendly asked to wait before entering, due to the COVID restrictions. As soon as costumers received their order and left the facility we were allowed to enter. We ordered and quickly received our combos and decided to enjoy our boxes inside. In order to create the required 6' distance some tables were marked as unavailable. We had the 4 pieces of chicken which have a crunchy skin and juicy meat. Loved it! The fries were good, but a little unevenly seasoned, and personally a bit too salty. The ice tea was great and not too sweet, just perfect for my taste. Thought I'd save some prep time today and pick up the coleslaw from my area Bojangles located at 1425 E Andrews Ave, Henderson, NC 27536 (252) 438-7529. After all, it's pretty tasty. Only problem is that these are the LARGE "Picnic" sizes. One has 7 oz, the other has 9. So....basically, I paid $7.18 for a pound of cabbage and mayo. read more

Yeah, it's another Bojangles but in a good way! Stopped by on a road-trip to VA for my usual box o' chicken... Girl at the window was super-nice and the food? Really good for Bojo's! Biscuits were particularly fluffy with a minimum of salt, the chicken was crunchy and juicy with a light coating, yum... Not all Bojangles are created equal and this location on Route 1 and I-85 is perfect for travelers! Just stay away if you're on a diet! read more

I want to start off saying I've NEVER done any type of review Negative or positive but I've been going to this Bojangles since I moved here 5 years ago but I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS ONE!! My father in law was hospitalized last night and I wasn't aware that you can't pay with $100.00 bill.. So after I made my order I was told they can't take that for payment ok no problem so I went to the gas station right beside of it came back and paid for my food mean while the cashier didn't make my order and was taking care of other customers so another employee walks up reads my ticket and says my order was rung up wrong so ok I will pay whatever I need to buy you're acting like it's my fault it was rung up wrong,second everyone else is being served and I can't make it past the cashier so yeah I'm a little aggravated by this time.. Since the employee had to add to it by saying customers can't get made for them doing their job.. You're right but it's how you handled the situation is why you lost multiple customers.. thank you for your bad service.. NEVER AGAIN read more

Maybe my experience was a one off but the food did not taste great during my visit. The chicken was completely flavorless and the skin had an odd tough texture. The fries were OK just a little soggy. The tea was pretty good. Although I wasn't 100% happy with my recent experience I'll give it another shot. read more

When I walked in they were super nice, everyone was working. Got my order in less than a minute. All tables were cleaned and they placed a sign on the table I sat at to know that I sat there so they could clean it once I left. Great job read more

Terrible service. Worst Bojangles I have ever gone to. They acted like sauces were coming out of THEIR pay check. I also was missing my mac and cheese that I payed for, and after expressing that to one of the older ladies, she said "It's in there. Go to the drive thru if it's not in there. Stopped at this Bojangle's on the way to Virginia. The chicken was nice and fresh, biscuits fluffy. However the beans were on the watery side, and they didn't have green beans or any other veges on the menu. The sever at the window was friendly and efficient. DELICIOUS fried chicken! This review is not necessarily about THIS particular Bojangles, but just that chain in particular. I love their fried chicken, it's thick batter, but not greasy, and super crunchy. Chicken is nice and tender. If you love rice, the dirty rice is great! It's almost like a mild jambalaya. And oohhhhhhhh their biscuits! Hot and soft, it's worth it to go just for the biscuits! read more
