With the rising cases of poor Customer Service, I had to do a review of this fast food restaurant. Last Friday I went to get a steak biscuit, and I was pleasantly surprised. The CUSTOMER SERVICE was on point! My food was fresh! Quite possibly the slowest drive through I've ever been through. Dining room is closed due to COVID-19 (as the sign on the door states) and there was no sense of urgency in the drive through window. Terrible service I stopped for breakfast here 2 weeks ago. Bad experience I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit get to the window and the young lady at the drive thru says I can't give you a receipt. I asked why she states I already messed up today and I don't want to get in trouble . Right then I should have known to check my bag. Grandchildren are over so my wife stopped at this Bojangles. She ordered a 12 piece with biscuits. She got home and we all set down to eat. The chicken was so done (close to burnt) that we could not eat it. Some of the skin was so hard that you could break a tooth trying to eat it. I called the Manager who pretended she could hear me because I was breaking up. She then passed me off to a very nice employee who had no problem hearing me. The suggestion was to come back. We live in NE Henry Co. so that wasn't an option. My point is that the person that boxed that food knew it wasn't fit to eat. To them it was just one more sale. To us it was our supper. When we stopped in here it was recently opened. We did not realize the chicken was only Cajun on the biscuits so the manager kindly switched it out with regular chicken for us. A=service! This was my first time here, ever. I don't eat fried chicken on the regular and decided to have some to accompany my freshly cooked lima beans with smoked turkey, and rice. I decided to drive up and review the menu first then make my selection, then place my order inside. Upon entering the establishment, the parking lot was noticeably clean. When I got inside, I noticed the greeting was warm and genuine. I also noticed the health score, 95. I indicated that this was my first visit, spawning suggestions about the menu from the cashier. She was great. I left with a box of chicken and biscuits. The manager on the front line filled all orders which was surprisingly different. They were not short on staff either. As a quality check point, she also reviewed the drive thru orders also. Very smart of her from a quality perspective. They serve a wide variety of biscuits, as well as breafast items all day. Their sides are many and plentiful, often accompanying the chicken combos and meals. They serve Pepsi products NOT Coke-so you know. Based on reviews previously, folks who come through the drive thru do tend to get stiffed. I opted to go in, to ensure I get what I pay for AND I'm sure I know what I'm getting before I leave the establishment. Granted, things happen either way, lol.
