What a lovely, beautiful, welcoming place. Walked in and was instantly greeted by the friendly staff, we were very excited to eat the bagels since they're overnighted from NY. Ordered the lox bagel - got an onion bagel, and regular cream cheese and all fixing except for tomatoes. Absolutely the greatest lox I've had. I'm so happy we gave this place a try today! Friendly service. Very helpful and knowledgeable Lots of offerings. Every coffee order is made to order fresh. It was amazing! We also had a muffin which was delicious. They also serve New York bagels which are HUGE!! we will definitely be back while we are in town. Cute little place and prices are great! Nice vibe inside, and very friendly service. I believe the man that took my order was the owner and he was super friendly and inviting. I had the Reuben sandwich and I also got a bagel with cream cheese. Both were fantastic. I'll be going back to try the house made chicken salad sandwich next. Service was amazing from the moment I walked in I was greeted. The cashier had recommendations on what and how I should order since that was my first time. I ended up ordering the everything bagel toasted with bacon, eggs and American cheese. The sandwich was delicious and I didn't even have to ask for it to be cut in half. I also ordered the caramel Frappuccino with almond milk. The drink wasn't my fave, so when I go back I will try a different drink. There is a plenty of seating for you to do work if you want, much quieter than Starbucks & seems like they have quite a few regulars as people were being greeted by name when they come in. Love it! 10/10 would def recommend. read more

This is my go to when I want a bagel sandwich. I order the breakfast sandwich because that's the best way to get what I want which is usually an egg sausage, lettuce and tomato on a toasted bagel. All their bagels are great. They make the food in the oven there so the eggs only come one way and that's fried, which works well on a bagel and I like that. When I tell you, this coffee was freaking amazing! They have a beautiful set up... like if you wanted to come and work or just come in with your laptop and watch a movie. It's definitely a cute little vibe. The staff is super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I forgot what my husband had but he definitely enjoyed his coffee and he's usually very picky and selective. Typically he doesn't enjoy his iced coffee that he gets from the different places that we try but he definitely loves this place. I had a dolce de Leche frappe and Boy when I tell you, I was in heaven. I usually like to wait until I get home before I finish my coffees, but man, I had to finish this before I got home. I looked at my husband and I was like "you know we're going back tomorrow" and he was like yup. so definitely sign up for those reward points if you'll be frequenting the place, just like me. read more

Great local spot. I love the bagels and the coffee. Every time I go in, I try a different bagel to get a sense of which ones I like and don't. Current favorite is the red pepper bagel, lightly toasted with garlic butter. That being said, this place is VERY popular. It's a small operation that is processing in-store orders AND online orders. Their online orders seem to be very busy. So, the wait time is a little long even if you walk in and you're the only one there. There may be 5 orders a head of you. On average, I end up waiting 5-10 minutes. If I could change one thing is maybe having a dedicated person who processes the in-person orders so people popping in aren't waiting so long. I may check out their online ordering to cut down on the wait time. Not their fault but I hate the plaza it's in. Why? It's hard to turn LEFT out of because it's close to the Starbucks/Chick Fil-A/Whatburger traffic cluster. Sometimes, I make the right, turn into the church on the left, and then pop out on the main road. OR, I pop in when I'm heading in that direction aka I need to make the right out of the plaza. As Henry County builds out and that road to Walmart on Hudson Bridge Road opens up, I hope they do something traffic-wise. I don't know if a light would make it better or worse. All I know is that there are some pretty cool businesses in that plaza but I hate visiting them because getting out is a challenge. Tip: If ordering in-person, they have a ordering kiosk. I often use that because the folks there are pretty slammed with orders. read more

The neon sign reads, "New York Bagels." It is no understatement. We have been on local coffee shops only for a number of years - no chains. Hubby discovered it early before golf and bragged about the delicious breakfast sandwich making sure to bring several fresh bagels home for me. Over the months since discovery, we place routine special orders for fresh NY bagels which I immediately wrap in foil and freeze for those special mornings when I deserve more carbs than usual. Today was the first day I actually stepped foot in the magic making institution. Usually this is a honey-do errand since it is in the scope of his golf travels. They are growing and training new people. I did introduce myself as the everything bagel lady whose husband always wants a dozen for his finicky wife! I was immediately recognized by the gentleman in charge. The cafe is simply furnished with high tech ordering options as well as old school methods. Theirs are the best NY bagels I have had on this side of Mason and Dixon! read more

Decided to give this cafe a try upon entry I expected to be greeted as a new comer by the staff but not the most welcoming cafe very mellow smug energy for a black establishment but overall I paid $11 in total after leaving a tip for a drink that wasn't worth it based on service and quality. read more

After anxiously awaiting the opening of this place, it was finally open for business when I was in the area today. I stopped in with my 2yo in tow to check out what they have. We met the owner who told us that this is a soft opening menu and they are actively working on adding more options. I only have positive points to report: the prices are reasonable, the space is bright and open, and there's free WiFi! To top it off, the play list was a 90s R&B that I enjoyed and the space is Black-owned. I had a specialty coffee drink (iced) and my little one had a chocolate milk. We left happy with our choices, and will definitely be back again soon! read more

What a wonderful addition to our community! We love to support local businesses and SDK's Cafe and Coffee fits the bill ! Hands down best bagels around! Always toasted just right, generous with cream cheese. (Didn't get a picture bc well, a Kodak moment was not what I had on my mind.) What a find! Excellent bagel. True NY bagels! This breakfast sandwich (which I had for lunch) was absolutely delicious! I also had a latte with oatmilk and half the usual pumps of caramel syrup. You can tell the coffee is high quality. Great people. I'm so glad this gem opened. Starbucks just across the street but seriously they don't hold a candle to SDK! read more

While headed to a funeral memorial service for a family member, I stopped off here with my sister to get food assuming the low profile of the location and empty parkinglot would mean timely service. First, everything is very over priced for very basic, not high quality food. The price for a singular bagel sandwich out priced full meals in the local 5min area-- I got 3 as I was purchasing for multiple people in our party. My hot food arrived cold, and my cold food was warm/room-temp. Second, The restaurant was almost empty when I came in, and the incoming ordering screen was almost empty. I was served cold coffee that took almost 10 minutes to get (the coffee order was for a hot latte), and my food sat for an over additional 20 minutes on the counter while they served everyone else and cleared the restaurant twice. Families were able to come in after me, order equal or more amounts of food, and leave before me. After absolutely every other order was cleared and everyone else was served, my bag (that again, had been sitting for over 20 minutes) was then given to me with a very smug attitude. What should have taken 10 minutes for a takeout order took well over 30. And what the staff didn't account for is this caused other issues for us as coordinators for the memorial service. Please, Save your money and go across the street to either of the other 3-4 coffee breakfast spots. read more

Oh my goodness I feel like I had a trip to NY. One bite and I knew this was a NY bagel. If you know you know. The egg bagel egg bacon sandwich was so delicious and I realized how much I have missed real bagels since moving here. My mom had an egg bagel with Lox and cream cheese and onions and capers and she was in heaven. Nice seating area if you're eating in. They have only been open as of today 4 days so they are getting their rhythm down on getting the food out. It was so worth the wait. The owner and staff were super friendly and welcoming. This will be a favorite on my list for breakfast. Of course I had to grab a few bagels for breakfast tomorrow also. read more

Small, quaint and comfy. Those were the things I liked about the ambiance of this cafe. Small enough to where you could hear every conversation but comfy enough to where you don't mind. Hospital clean as well! From the front door to the back restroom. The staff was super accommodating and made sure I didn't have one unmet need as I sat inside the cafe. If you order a sandwich or avocado toast from the menu it is fresh to order so it may take a while (10 mins tops). The real reason why I'm here... I honestly cannot get their avocado toast off my mind! The seasoning blend that they apply to the toast is remarkable! I will be back! read more

My wife and I stopped by SDK Bagel, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the team was friendly and welcoming, and the place was absolutely spotless. The bagels were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The staff even suggested toppings based on what we liked, and their recommendations were spot-on. So. Let me start by saying this is my second time here, and it's just as good if not better than the last! Today I got the white mocha latte--iced with a bacon egg and cheese on a French toast bagel! The service is always great, the folks are attentive, and so kind!! I am in the area monthly so I make sure to stop in and enjoy. Had an excellent breakfast at SDK's Cafe and coffee. I am in town for the week visiting my dad. I took him to his dental appointment and knew he would be there for an hour so I was looking for some good coffee and a snack. I yelped out this place and it was a great find. I tried the coffee of the month and it was excellent, decided to go with the avocado toast with the fried egg and Asiago cheese, served on sourdough with their own spices- very tasty- give them a try! read more

Just stopped in this AM. Owner was very personable, but would not tell me were he got his bagels in NY. But the everything bagel with smear was very good Toasted and wrapped well for in car eating. .I will visit now instead of the terrible Starbucks across the street Let's support, we need out locally owned businesses to survive. read more

We have a nice little cafe off of Jodeco now!!! The people are welcoming and very friendly such a great vibe. The bagels were absolutely delicious. They prepared them exactly as I requested. Their coffee was great too. I will most definitely be back...tomorrow. Don't want to forget their prices are reasonable to where you don't feel as guilty going back everyday unlike Starbucks. I love finding food places to visit that aren't big international chains, I took my dad here to have lunch after discovering them on Doordash and it was pretty much the best decision I made all week. We got the Ruben Sandwich and the Pastrami Sandwich to half with each other and some chips and Tropical Refreshers. The Pastrami was absolutely delicious and the Ruben was honestly the best I've ever had, The tropical refreshers were great too. On top of the great food the people were very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, AND top top it all off the owners do work to help the homeless which just makes the whole thing all the more awesome. If you love a good bagel or a delicious hot sandwich I can't recommend SDK's enough, don't sleep on this place because it's special! read more

That said, the toppings were a bit too sweet for me and my kids. Unfortunately, they only made it about halfway through their chosen donut before they were done, which never happens in this house. We have a little Saturday morning tradition where my husband picks up donuts before the kids wake up, and while we would love to have a go to spot closer to home like this, the price point just felt a little high for what we got compared to our regular spot. Overall, really great quality donuts, just a bit too sweet (and pricey) for our family to make it a regular stop.
