I live almost 2 hours away and chose this particular dealer due to high ratings online as well as recommendations from my Mini Cooper Clubs. I sure wish i had known about this business sooner and also wish I lived closer, but I'm thankful to have the knowledge now and plan to utilize them in the future. Communication was top notch from scheduling an appointment until the time my keys were returned to me. I received updates and reports via text, phone call, video, and printouts during the entire process. Timely, polite, and professional. Every employee I encountered was so kind, patient, and polite, which I really appreciated. I'm not the best "patient" when it comes to my car due to past experiences (a catastrophic engine failure) and a lot of sentiment (hubby gifted me the car). So, I want to give a special shout-out to Dean Bunting in Service for taking the time to listen to a bit of my "story", explaining the diagnostic reports and findings in layman terms, and allaying my fears to enable me to make decisions. I only stop by about once every six months, but they still know me by name and face. Cheryl, the office manager, is always courteous and happy to help. They're willing to drop you back off at your house. One time, in fact, they closed down the shop and actually drove my car back to my house after it was serviced so that I didn't have to come pick it up. Just recently they hosted a give-back-to-the-community event that involved an outdoor movie screening, bonfire, food trucks, and partnerships with local vendors. Really, I just can't get enough of these guys. I love how close they are to my house, but it's just icing on the cake that they provide such excellent work and customer service.

The work usually takes a little longer than they anticipate, but I've come to expect that from most repair facilities, even the dealerships. I prefer quality workmanship over a rush job. I was told they likely would not be able to fit me in, and ultimately they didn't, which left me without transportation for two full days. The scheduler also failed to mention the $198 diagnostic fee ahead of time. The issue with my Jeep was a "lost communication with the AGS" error. Before bringing it in, I researched the problem extensively, including reviewing Jeep's own service guidance. Everything I found indicated this is a fairly common issue most often caused by corrosion or damage in the wiring leading into the shutter assembly. Multiple sources also warned against shops recommending a full assembly replacement unless it was confirmed to be defective. Dellen quoted me approximately $1,600 for a full assembly replacement and, when I asked for clarification and details of the diagnostic, the service representative stated they would only replace the entire assembly. He said the components were not sold separately. After paying the diagnostic fee, I took my vehicle to another shop for a second opinion. They diagnosed the same AGS communication issue, confirmed the wiring showed signs of corrosion, and determined the shutter assembly itself was functioning properly. They completed the repair by addressing the wiring issue for roughly one-third of Dellen's quoted price.
