While driving my brand new Durango, I got in a minor accident in May of 2020, breaking a control arm & some additional suspension damage. There was also some minor body damage on the passenger side. T & T was close by & were really great to work with at first. I got my estimate in only a couple of days and they worked w/my insurance to get my claim processed quickly. All parts were received within 2 weeks & I was told the work should be done on my vehicle in abt 2 wks. As time went on, my car wasn't repaired & I was getting conflicting info on the status. After approx 6 wks, I'd noticed my vehicle's location at a dealership in Noblesville for 1 1/2 weeks without moving. When I asked T&T, the owner, Travis Reed, told me he couldn't tell me where my vehicle was due to HIPPA laws. When I told him that HIPPA laws only apply to personal healthcare information, he backtracked and said that my car was at the dealership just to finish up "some suspension work and to get an alignment", but that it was otherwise just about finished. I decided to see for myself because I kept getting the feeling that h'd been dishonest w/me. When I saw my vehicle, ALL of the parts that had been ordered for the repair were in my TRUNK, and my front bumper and headlights had been removed, but noting was repaired or painted yet. When I asked the dealership about it, they stated the car had been dropped off by T&T over a week prior, but T&T had left no information on what needed completed & had not returned their call find out.
Right then, I called my insurance co to tell them I wanted anyone else to do the work on my vehicle. That T&T was shady & hadn't followed through w/anything they told me. The insurance co couldn't help me because I had already agreed to have T&T to the repairs, & I'd have to work it out w/them. Travis Reed got wind that I'd gone to the dealership & immediately sent a tow truck to bring my car back to his shop. They stuck it in a service garage & did nothing for almost 2 wks because he was teaching me a lesson. T&T wouldn't give me any answers as to when I'd get my vehicle. I had no choice but to let them fix it. My rental had run out, causing me to borrow vehicles, bum rides, and uber to my two jobs and it made it extremely difficult to take care of my 2 kids' needs. T&T wouldn't help w/that. Finally, after wks of empty promises, Terone told me my vehicle was finished. He said T&T had done all the suspension work themselves & sent the car out to another shop only for the alignment work. I was leary, but was anxious to just get my vehicle back, as it only had about 6500 miles on it and is NEW. When I picked up the vehicle, it was mid august. it was sunny outside and the car looked great at first glance. When I got home a couple of hours later, I noticed the front rim was damaged & so was my tire. It turns out, the old tire was put on the new rim, which got damaged in the process. The next day, I heard a LOUD sound while accelerating from a stop into a roundabout and thought maybe my tire had gone flat. I pulled over & saw nothing & my tire was fine. I then began to notice a weird "knock" sound when I would brake & accelerate, as though something was either loose or broken, but the vehicle drove fine other than that. I notified T&T right away of what happened & after some arguing, they ordered a new tire & rim. I brought my vehicle back in for that repair and also for them to touch up a little part on the paint job that got missed. They said they would drive the vehicle and investigate the noise I described. They brought my supposedly completed vehicle to me over a week later saying that they found nothing wrong with the vehicle. That I must have "run over something" & my repairs are "under warranty" if needed. I wasn't convinced, but accepted delivery, hoping they were right. They received over $14,000 for what took 3 MONTHS.
As the weeks went on, the sound was still there & was getting worse. I was worried about something being broken, so I finally made an appointment at my local dealership to have it looked at. Unfortunately, before my appt date, my car finally broke. I was at a stop and accelerated to about 15 mph when the light turned, then I heard a loud grinding sound and my car bogged down. My dealership was less than a mile away & I was able to get to their lot. The dealership determined that the damage occurred because there was NO BOLT holding the differential onto the engine cradle, and it finally ripped my CV boot and damaged my axle. I notified T&T & submitted all the pictures, repair info, w/receipt, but they havn't yet reimbursed me the almost $1,100 to fix. I'm told the family has had some personal issues for the last 6 months. I'll probably have to file a law suit & I'll make sure everyone knows about this. BEWARE. If they make it right, without me having to sue, I'll update this review.
