Dr. Mark Manocha is not a rookie and is one of the finest Ophthalmologist in Savannah. He inspires confidence and is able to discern what is important and express his ideas in understandable terms. They changed to December 23 and then the 29th. I had my exam went to check out, I said I have to make an appointment for a year. She looked at me and said sorry we're booked next December and I said what? She said you'll have to start calling in mid January to see if you can get one for January 20 27. That's unacceptable. there's a few other problems too, but I'm not gonna go into it here. Remember this isn't about Dr. Manocha. May not be going back. Not sure if the doctor knows what is going on.

Though one of my eyelids is still healing, in less than a month the other wye surgical scar is almost imperceptible. The second eye was a more complicated one and is also healing very very well...it's just a a few weeks behind on the scar results. I have no doubt it will be perfect and completely unnoticeable in another month. I would say the experience has been beyond what I could have anticipated and I highly recommend this surgeon, his fabulous anesthesiologist, his professional nurses and the entire medical team!

I was told someone would call soon from Schulze Eye to schedule an appointment. Almost one month goes by and no word from Schulze Eye. Thinking I might have missed their call, I dropped by the office of Schulze Eye on May 7, 2026, to see if I could schedule an appointment. I met with a friendly black lady at the front desk who informed me that I had not missed a call that, in fact, the person who processes referrals has been out on leave and that she would most certainly call me within a week. That did not happen. On May 18, 2026, I received a call on my cell phone which indicated "Potential Spam". Of course, I did not answer. However, upon immediately checking my voice mail, the call was from Schultz Eye, requesting that I call them back to schedule an appointment. I called back right away and was transferred to their voice mail. I left a message with my identifying information, requesting that someone call me to schedule an appointment. Today is May 27, 2026, and I have yet to hear from anyone at Schulze Eye Center. Obviously, scheduling appointments is not a top priority at Schulze Eye and staff are not being held accountable. Such I attention to patient needs makes me question patient care at this facility. I suppose I'll be calling Low Country Eye for referral to another provider.

Every member of the staff was highly professional, yet caring and friendly. Without exception, they always put me at ease--at my initial visit, during both surgeries, and at my follow-up visits, Dr. Schulze, himself, and his staff were not hurried in dealing with me at any time. They all invited questions and answered them thoroughly and clearly. The results of both cataract surgeries are wonderful, much better than I had hoped. I can't recommend Dr. Schulze and this facility enough. Was my experience really this good? YES! A++ And I have no other connection with Dr. Schulze or anyone on his staff except as a patient.

He'll take his time and explain things & he doesn't make you feel like you can't ask him a question .
