I was told someone would call soon from Schulze Eye to schedule an appointment. Almost one month goes by and no word from Schulze Eye. Thinking I might have missed their call, I dropped by the office of Schulze Eye on May 7, 2026, to see if I could schedule an appointment. I met with a friendly black lady at the front desk who informed me that I had not missed a call that, in fact, the person who processes referrals has been out on leave and that she would most certainly call me within a week. That did not happen. On May 18, 2026, I received a call on my cell phone which indicated "Potential Spam". Of course, I did not answer. However, upon immediately checking my voice mail, the call was from Schultz Eye, requesting that I call them back to schedule an appointment. I called back right away and was transferred to their voice mail. I left a message with my identifying information, requesting that someone call me to schedule an appointment. Today is May 27, 2026, and I have yet to hear from anyone at Schulze Eye Center. Obviously, scheduling appointments is not a top priority at Schulze Eye and staff are not being held accountable. Such I attention to patient needs makes me question patient care at this facility. I suppose I'll be calling Low Country Eye for referral to another provider.

Though one of my eyelids is still healing, in less than a month the other wye surgical scar is almost imperceptible. The second eye was a more complicated one and is also healing very very well...it's just a a few weeks behind on the scar results. I have no doubt it will be perfect and completely unnoticeable in another month. I would say the experience has been beyond what I could have anticipated and I highly recommend this surgeon, his fabulous anesthesiologist, his professional nurses and the entire medical team!

With an annual membership you get unlimited visits, 2 sets of labs and most medications at cost from the office dispensary for a set price with no surprise costs to be concerned about. Her assistant, Sharon, is a great asset in the office to schedule appointments, take your vitals and draw your labs. She's very personable and always smiling. Dr. Lavallee has been more than a physician to me. She's helped me get through some of the most difficult times life has presented me.
