Fast, cool spot for Indian-style food. I got a chicken wrap. The meat is high quality, tender and flavorful. The wrap they put it on was tasty as well. A single wrap is about $5, which seems cheap but it's not super big. Seemed like most people got 2 and at $10, it's a good lunch but about average priced. If they could offer 2 of these delicious wraps for less than like $8 I'd be there everyday. Still a cool concept and I do like how fast they move. My cousin and I grabbed a quick lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon. Since he married into an Indian family, he is my go-to when it comes to ordering Indian food. He advised me that one wrap is not enough for one person, but two can be too much. We compromised and ordered four, which we then cut in half and shared... and he was right! I finished two halves and then took bites of the other two because I was too full. We ordered a potato wrap, cheese paneer, chickpea, and chicken tikka. The potato was my favorite, the cheese was a close second, and the chickpea was by far the messiest. I would order any of the above again in a heartbeat. My one complaint is that the place is not big enough for the lunch crowd. There are only a handful of tables, most of which are 4-tops, and it can be a long wait for a seat. It would be better if it was either larger and included more tables, or was smaller and just a pick-up spot. They were my Fooda option in my office building today. I was being lazy due to the cold weather and didn't want to go out for lunch so I opted for the in-house restaurant convenience. I decided on the Chicken Tikka and I must admit it was pretty darn good. My very first time having this and I was pretty impressed by the taste, especially being in the Fooda quick fast to go format. The Chicken Tikka is pretty much grilled boneless chicken marinated in Tadoori spices and the spices are what make these wraps. I love the subtle tinge of spiciness the wrap has. The only negative is that the wraps are small and not filling on just it alone. You will need probably two or maybe even three depending on how hungry you're to get to that point, but for $6 a pop and for two making my lunch cost $12, not worth that price to me. For $12 I can get a whole small pizza. Their food is good, but their price point in comparison to quantity is bad. read more

They have added to their menu with the chickpea wrap ($3.99), which is more filling than the potato tava wrap (though both are flavorful). They have also added a samosa wrap ($3.49, their cheapest wrap now). In the past, I have had their delicious cheese paneer wrap ($4.99), their decent egg and spinach breakfast wrap, and their AMAZING sweet potato fries. I have also had the mango lassi which was way too sugary and not very flavorful, and the chai tea, which was also incredibly bland, I wouldn't recommend either of those drink options. I have passed Bombay Wraps on several occasions on my way to work, and today, thanks to a super sweet and loving fiancee, I was able to try them. I don't know if it's because I had really high expectations from all the reviews or because I was hoping that Chicago finally had kati rolls like NYC, but I was left unsatisfied. The paratha seemed like they were frozen and thawed, not made fresh. You can tell when they are fresh because they are light, flaky, and a bit doughy. I tried the potato wrap and the paneer wrap. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the paneer, but I wasn't impressed. The wrap was greasy and the flavors weren't anything phenomenal in either of the two I got. The sweet potato fries were limp and greasy and left much to desire. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. I'll save my cravings for when I visit NYC. read more

That menu sounded good so I did the same but medium spicy. About the place, I loved the first smell & impression. It struck me as the likes of some of the newer strip mall like locations back in India. The smells brought me back to a memory of standing in a similar type place in Coimbatore, India. The smells were almost exactly the same and while we stood in line the brief ten minutes, I was replaying a fond memory in mind. Bombay Wraps is a small joint with about five or six tables for fours, space is tight. Outside they have a couple more seats / tables available. It's a fast in and out type of meal spot. So if it's comfortable seating you want, you may like to find another Indian spot to have your lunch.. Since my cousin has been frequenting this place as of lately, I got to meet the owner which happened to work the register this day. Nice guy with a welcoming personality. I loved the chicken tikka but found the lamb to be overcooked, maybe ? I think so, it was very, very tender but I couldn't taste the lamb. My cousin however, loves it. So don't mind me. I'm glad I asked for medium spicy since my cousin was hurting from extra spicy. Everything was tasty and somehow tasted just like how Ma would make it. These wraps are pricey and I'm talking about the meat wraps. The veg options were a different story, affordable. With the size of the wraps, I'd suggest getting two, even for the smallest of eaters. The bread or "parata" or "parota" is different from a tortilla. With Indian food, you won't see any place stuffing the hell out of it like a burrito. In my personal life I've had wraps of many kinds and typically would see a couple or trio served for an individual. I wish they would open another one of these closer to the Northside. Came here for lunch one day, and I will definately be back. Came here and got the chicken Tikka wrap. The chicken was good and moist, the seasoning and sauces were great with just a little bite, and the wrap itself was hot and fresh. The only sad part is they are only open 11-6 on Monday to Saturday. I work later some evenings and would definately stop by for a quick bite or pick it up before going back to work. The place gets PACKED at lunch hour, so it will be a hit or miss on if you can find seating, but has a nice atmosphere and feel inside. The price and service are great and it can't be beat for the area. I mean that kind of food and the prices, come on!!! This Chicken Tikka Wrap and Samosas hit the spot today!!! I am actually kinda made at myself I haven't tried this sooner. I am a huge fan of UberEats. It is convenient, budget friendly, and a great way to try new spots around the city. I have seen this on the menu for weeks but yet to try it...until today. The samosa were crisp and flaky on the outside with such a perfect creamy potato pea filling and just the right balance of spices. The wrap was out of this world. The paratha bread was tender and flaky. The chicken was juicy and the spice level was just right. The cilantro mint chutney is so fresh and cuts a little of that tikka heat. Wow did I just have a good lunch! And to think, an hour ago I was mad at myself for forgetting my lunch at home! Now I'm glad I had an excuse to finally try this place! The people who work here are so nice! They helped me chose chicken tika wrap. I also had a side of samosas. When I first looked at my plate, it didn't seem like very much food. The samosas are little, and the wrap looks small. (I think I'm just used to seeing giant burritos wrapped up in aluminum foil like this.) My first bite was of a samosa. It was good. Then I took a bite of the wrap, and it was incredible. I thought that maybe if I was still hungry I would get one of the other wraps. But after I finished my wrap and samosas, I was pretty full. So I'll have to wait until next time to try a different wrap. If you were really hungry when coming here, I think it would be better to get 2 wraps instead of a wrap and a side. I've been wanting to try out the kathi rolls at Bombay Wraps for a very long time now but when a friend of mine told me that his office ordered lunch from here and he really liked the rolls, I had to do the same today and did. We ordered samosas. alu rolls and paneer rolls. Everything from ordering to delivery to food - was a smooth process. The wraps were very good - I personally liked the paneer tikka better than the potato wrap but both were very very good! Good thing I ordered extras because most people were excited to try two! BAM One thing I love about Indian food is how it's all about flavor. Like, getting walloped in the face with a sack full of quarters and flavor. Awesomely, Bombay Wraps does not disappoint. Now, keep in mind these aren't going to be your Chipotle-size behemoth wraps you may be used to. The size is nearly enough to be perfect, but getting a side or a second wrap rounds things out nicely. Side-wise, I got the samosas, which were nice and dense. Next time I may go with the sweet potato fries, which I tried and found to be deliciously crisp. Super cheap, super fast, and a ton of flavor, I wish that Bombay Wraps was in the lobby of MY office building, but a four-block walk will have to do. I tried the Cheese Paneer wrap with a side of samosas and a soda, which came in for about $9. The paratha was very fresh and hot; the wrap isn't exactly stuffed, but it was a good lunch portion size for a smaller adult. I asked them to make it as spicy as possible and was not disappointed (hot/spicy is always my preference!). The side of samosas was good but also small, so this combo had me a little hungry for more when finished. The better option for a larger adult is to do the two wraps and soda combo, I think it's a better value. Very small space, and tables didn't turn over very fast when I showed up for a 12:30 lunch on a Friday...if you need a table, best to show up here just before or after the 12-1 stretch on a weekday. Bombay Wraps, a taste of India wrapped in a paratha for only $4. For the location and price, Bombay Wraps has the potential of being a hot spot. Too bad the flavors weren't heating up my taste buds. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala which looked nothing like the photo and was missing fresh cilantro. It came with a cilantro chutney but the color from the chutney and tikka masala sauce made it look very unappetizing. It's frustrating when you order something and it looks nothing like the photo. I'm amazed at how photographers can make mediocre food look like the best thing on earth. I guess it's how Sara Jessica Parker is able to have a career. There were big chunks of chicken but they were very dry. The flavors were muted kind of like eating at an Indian buffet when the food just isn't as good as when you order off the menu. I tried asking for more tikka sauce but the guy who stood behind the counter didn't understand me and was about to add reshmi sauce. Note to self: make sure to clearly annunciate "MORE TIKKA SAUCE PLEASE." Bombay Wraps had some unexpected surprises. But you can get a good wrap for 3.99 - it is amazing on a Chicago Downtown.....During Lunch hours - it is really full and we have to wait in the line.. but today i went in the evening since they close at 6 PM. This place is one of those quick- let's grab lunch ones. Small white chairs and a bar style seating area, lots of light and a chance to people watch while you have your wrap. The wrap itself wasnt incredible, I feel like it lacked one or two important masalas for the real bombay taste. I had the reshmi chicken which was shredded, not pieces of chicken, in a paratha. I also had the spicy chutney, which isnt all that spicy, so you can get a good dollop of it without your hair getting set on fire. I think my fellow yelpers summarized this place quite well. The food is tasty, but not filling. I ordered the Steak wrap and the Chicken Tikka wrap, and i probably needed a third (I am 6'3, 225 lbs). Although did find the seats were not comfortable. I recently tried Bombay Wraps because a friend, Chef Suzy Singh, has her recipes featured there on Friday mornings. Having just returned from India one would think that I would have been sick of Indian food... but I ventured to try this on the coaxing of my boyfriend. I had the Paneer wrap. It was well seasoned - not too moist and not too dry. There was a sweet and spicy red sauce and a slightly spicy mint chutney to compliment. I used both. I also had a Mango Lassi - YUM!
