Veggie puffs, chai, and veggie samosa.
    Thaung M.

My favorite place for afternoon chai and samosas. Since I work nearby I go there at least once a week. Their veggie samosas are so cheap at $0.85 each! So a handful of snacks that'll fill you up good would only run you less than $5. And they take card! They also sell other snacks: pakoras, gulab jumun, meat puffs etc. Everything tastes so good and authentic. I'd even put their food above Patel Brother's.

Great place to shop for Indian spices! The owners are very helpful for those who may not be well versed on Indian cuisine.

Favorite grocery store! Could not believe how many markdowns they have on stuff here. I got a large…read moreavocado on a salad for half off. There's a small section back by the creamers in the middle cold case with all marked down good stuff. I got my snacks for work and grabbed a few items. There's another long aisle, I think by the produce section, and all of it is close out markdowns. There's tons of beer, candy, toys, soups, spices and various foods. I got a large container of Elote Spuce for corn for 3-4 bucks. I'm going to use it in my salads and steamed veggies and try it on a baked potato. I posted some pics

My husband asked me the other day why I don't shop at Albertsons. Well until today the only…read morereasons I had was because the store looked old inside and it smelled funny. So, I looked at the ad only and saw they had ground turkey, one lb for $2.97, which is about half price. I also needed gravy mix packets and lo and behold they had them for $1 as long as you buy 5. I go in the store, pick up 3 packages of ground turkey and 5 packets of gravy and head to the checkout. My two minute run in to the grocery store is about to turn into a 15 minute register transaction. Only 2 of the turkey packages ring up on sale out of the 3. Totally my bad, I didn't see the limit. Then the gravy packets don't ring up. I show them the app. They say, I think it's a coupon. I say I know it's a coupon and show them where I had clipped the coupon. Now we have to call the manager. The cashier tell the manager that the total is correct and that I, the customer don't understand the register screen. Keep in mind the register says $14.95 for $6 worth of turkey and $5 worth of gravy packets. I didn't need a calculator to see that was wrong. The manager voids the transaction and just rings up the gravy which comes to $8.95. She gets out her phone to try and figure out how much to take off the transaction to make it $5 and can't figure it out with the calculator. I let her struggle for a couple minutes and then tell her it's $3.95. Then she rings the turkey and TA-DA total is $10.94. Shocker, I know. If the Mississippi pot roast wasn't already in the crockpot, I would have just walked out. Along with my items, I did come out of there with a legit reason as to why I'm not ever shopping there again, so there's that.

They were nice, meat quality was good and they knew how to handle a halal shop. Today ,I bought 6 lb of beef with bone. nicely packed and brought them home. While i went to cut and prepare them, i found each and every piece has a big bone with it. i had to literally scrape out meat from each bone. took them back, they offered me to take new packs, but they lady said they ran out of meat which is a common thing here. And the manager said as it is beef with bone,so each piece has a bone with it. and they are charging $5.99/lb for bones with meat. That's not how it works.I am buying beef with bone in dallas for last 15years. The owner has been changed. the middle eastern family is gone and handed it over to the Nepali owner. You can clearly see the differences. They refunded the amount, but i am never going back for beef at least.
