Wanted to try something new close to home, so we picked this place for a family meal and really enjoyed it! You can actually watch them making the noodles and dumplings, which was really cool, and you can definitely taste how fresh everything is. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The place was clean with some nice decor, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great spot for a family meal and definitely somewhere we'd come back to!

I went here for a quick lunch. This place was clean and nicely decorated. I ordered the lunch special and the menu said it came with your choice of soup and egg roll. The server did not give me a choice of soup and just brought me egg drop soup. The egg roll had good flavor, but it was ice cold. I ordered the Kung pow chicken as my main dish it was good but nothing amazing. I would consider to come back to try something else.

Soup dumplings really good, extremely hot and juicy. Regular fried chicken potstickers were a bit of a miss, just average. Orange chicken really tasty. Dried fried chicken - AMAZING such a highlight. Hot and sour soup tasty. The desserts were a miss, the chocolate bao was semi-sweet chocolate inside which i didn't like, and also not nutella or any other flavor involved which bummed me out. the Hong Kong style dessert bao were also kinda eh. Service really good, I did really enjoy this meal, such a great menu and plenty of tasty menu choices. Focus on the coup dumplings, soups, and chicken dishes!!

Xiao Ling's has a lunch special menu with a limited number of entree choices, a cup of soup, and a small egg roll. The eggplant w/ garlic sauce contained a good amount of tender, creamy eggplant, but the sauce was neither garlicky nor particularly flavorful, and there was little of interest in the dish besides the eggplant. While the food was just okay, the service was great - really fast if you are in a rush, and very attentive and eager to please. I would have like to order some soup dumplings, but I was informed those typically take at least 15 minutes. If you have the time, I'd recommend the dumplings but skip some of the other fare.

Xiaoling's Noodles and Dumplings is a Chinese restaurant in Irving-Las Colinas that serves authentic Chinese dishes, soup dumplings, and American friendly dishes. It has become one of the restaurants in my rotation due to it's convenient location and value. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Xiaoling's is in one of Irving-Las Colinas' most popular/busy shopping districts. Inside, it's a basic restaurant, but if you walk towards the back you'll see the exposed kitchen (behind glass) where their staff work to create the perfect dumplings that they're known for. 1 Star. Service - I've never had bad service here. Initially I thought Xiaoling's was fast casual, but you'll have a server help you. Our servers were nice, smiling, efficient, and since the restaurant wasn't completely full we never had any wait issues. 1 Star. Food - There are many items on the menu, and you can eat individual dishes or family style, but I always start with the Scallion Pancake. This thin, fried cake is served a side of salty soy dipping sauce. It's crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and I always get a bite of fresh, sharp scallion in my bite. I'm also a fan of their Xao Long Boa soup dumpings. It's served with a spoon so you can capture the soup. Finally, finish with an order the Pan Fried Bao. The outside fried bao texture is a great contrast to the soft, soup dumpings. Now, it's not the best dumplings I've had, but Xiaoling's is a great value. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The cost of eating out has skyrocketed. So it's nice that places like Xiaoling's Noodles and Dumplings exist so I can enjoy legit soup dumplings at a very reasonable price. 1 Star.

I would give this a 3.5 star review. It's a casual place, clean, comfortable and bright. Service is brisk and responsive. The menu selection is broad - we tried the scallion pancakes (minimal flavor), pork xiao long bao (decent and unusually large and thick dough - served with ladle vs traditional soup spoon), chicken and pork/scallop dumplings (super doughy) which had ok flavor, pan fried pork buns (super doughy and cake like on the outside - not traditional preparation), and the veggie delight (was served with white rice and lacked key Asian ingredients like bamboo, baby corn, mushrooms, and water chestnuts). Serving sizes good for the prices. I'd say there are better options if you're craving dumplings and authentic Chinese food. But they'll do in a pinch.

Absolutely disgusting! The chicken tasted old and freezer burnt! There was a very and after taste and little to known ingredients. The dumplings were awful as well! I do it's recommend eating here!

The dumplings were delicious but super hard to eat with chop sticks or a fork. It appeared that regulars got a soup ladle to keep all the juices. That would have been great to have been offered. We didn't know. They were delicious! My favorite was beef and least was veggie. Beef and broccoli was good. If I went back I would ask for a tiny bit of heat as it needed more flavor. Kung Pao was great -super spicy! Place is very quiet -they need a bit of music.

Service: Came here on Labor Day (2025) and the place was fairly busy! Lots of tables and to-go/take out orders. The staff were friendly and patient with us since we took some time looking at the menu. They came to refill our waters and check in throughout our time here. Ambiance: The restaurant is not large, but has plenty of seating. Food: We ordered several dishes to try- 1) Pork soup dumplings- My husband loved these and thought they were one of the better ones that he's had in DFW. They were extra soupy and pretty large compared to the others. The flavor was great, too! 2) Boiled "sam" dumplings, which had beef, shrimp, and eggs. The flavor profile was unique and pretty good! 3) chicken stir fry rice noodles - I did not enjoy these as much. Did not have a ton of flavor. 4) Mixed veggies- The mixed veggie plate was fine. I didn't enjoy this either. The guy couldn't speak English well so he couldn't tell me what kind of mixed veggies were in this. The plate had broccoli, shredded carrots, and cabbage. It was too salty and flavorless for me. Overall, I'd order the dumplings here and that's it!

We intended to go to another restaurant and stumped on this one by accident. What a welcomed accident. We tried the xiao long bao, fried bao, hot and sour soup and the veggie soup noodles. Here is our review Xiao long bao- a 10! Homemade and looks like it is made to order. The expertise in the folds and consistency in the texture of the wrapper to encase the soup is fantastic! Hot and sour soup- a 6. Not much flavor and needs more acid. Veggie noddle soup- a 7, lacked flavor but the texture of the noodles was good. Fried pork bao- 10! Great presentation, flavor and texture !

Authentic noodles and dumpling place. Very impressive! The Xiao Long Bao skins were a little thick, but they were literally hand made to order right in front of us! We each had different soups and also tried all of the dumpling flavors. Everything was fantastic. And no wait on a Friday night!

Food was excellent! The service was just ok. There were only 2, and it was busy. It was our first time and they weren't super friendly. Definitely would go back again for the dumplings!

I feel so lucky having Xiao Ling's close to where I work and live. They have such good quality, authentic Chinese cuisine. I love dumplings and they have both steamed and pan fried, all so delicious! And their beef noodle soup is so, so, delicious and very filling as well. The customer service is amazing and the chef that makes the dumplings is so sweet. The interior is clean and tidy as well! This place is for sure my go to!

Tonkotsu ramen tasted good and salty too. The servers were nice. I do think they expect you to know your order already to make a quick turnaround since there were constant ppl waiting at the door. Short wait on a weekday right when the doors open (in 100+ degree summer heat). But I don't think it was amazing and felt hyped up to me. This place didn't pass that test and it may be the only time in history where it proved me so wrong. When we were served the karage chicken with what appeared to be plain mayo I was seriously doubting my choice. It all changed when the ramen came out. This place is legit. They took the time to master their craft and they pay respect to what a proper bowl of ramen is. We both went for the spicy black garlic tonkatsu with differing spice levels; mild and reaper (+$1). Let's start with that -- typically all you pay for is a glob of chill oil that may or may not be spicy. This was not the case here, it added serious heat without altering the flavor. The black garlic was not burnt. The ramen had depth and umami, but could have been a but more seasoned. Eggs were cooked well and still jammy. If im ever in the area i'd be back.
